I would like to suggest noting that McCree's primary fire can crit (headshot, or Bastion's back, etc), while secondary fire can not. So there's no reason to try to flash/fan headshots when you can flash/fan center-mass and get more reliable damage output.

I honestly believe that the primary shot is better at any range, due to the possibility to change target once your primiary target is dead. One flashbang followed up by a primary headshot will kill any squishy, and leave you with 5 more bullets to interact with other enemies that might be coming your way.

It is, for sure. The guide is outdated in that respect - with the nerfs to FtH, you basically will just flash, double tap and kill most heroes. For tanks, you will need to be more careful.

Thank you for the guide(s), great stuff. ? One general question: what reticle settings would you suggest for each hero, or do you use the same settings for every hero? Same goes with DPI and sensitivity.

In general though, if you need to have a good aim with the hero (Most DPS, Ana, Zen, Lucio and etc.) your sensitivity should be low. If you play Rein, keep it high. With Rein, you should be a able to do a 360 by moving your mouse from one side of the mousepad to the other. Then comes Winston and Mercy, which doesn't care too much about aim, then the rest comes.
