My very first character was a Rogue and I have mained this character through every expansion.  Though Demon Hunter is very tempting, and I will have a lot of fun on it as an alt, the Rogue will remain my first and only love.

As for NPC, I have to say Illidan Stormrage was always my favorite lore character, and I am excited that we will get to interact with him as an NPC in Legion!

I'm going to play my Priest in Legion. Was my first Main and it will always be.

My favourite Priest-NPC is Tyrande. I hope she will count as a Priest but i think so. High Priestess of Elune.

I am going to be a superb male Night Elf Demon Hunter Main with Illidan (who would have guessed...) being my all time favorite NPC in the Warcraft Universe.

Being one of the most powerful beings in the Universes Student is gonna be hella amazing, I cannot wait to finally PvP as one and Eyebeam people to their Graveyard.

Priest all the way! was the first class i ever played and will continue playing it as much as possible. Brings back memories of all the old times i had in this game. For my favorite NPC i would say Tirion. He is such great character with really interesting design and brings a lot of character to the game and the lore.

Thanks for the chance to participate and for the giveaway! Best luck to all!

If I have the chance to play, I will be doing so as a protadin, as always (since tbc and on). Why? Because shiny!!!
Protector of the light, crusader, blood knight...so many names to fall in love to! ;)

My favourite class NPC is Arthas Menethil. Yes, before he went haywire and became the prince of darkness. Reason, none other that it mimics life, meaning even the best intentions aren't a safeguard to what results in the end by making bad choices.
On that aspect alone, I would love to have Arthas' ghost on the Order Hall, spreading advice to all the paladins.

What advice the former LK can give you may ask?

Simple.

I just need to quote an (overused) old quote: "With great power comes great responsibility."

I will be playing a warrior going into Legion. I have played prot warrior since i first started to play WoW back in 2005. If i could choose any warrior as my favorite class NPC, it would have to be Broxigar. I understand he is dead, but he's awesome!

The class i hope to play during Legion is Shadow Priest, Shadow Priest was my Main class during Cataclysm and MoP, I changed to Death Knight during WoD. I want to play Shadow Priest because from the videos i've watched they appeal more to me than Death Knights. I would love to get into this beta to test out the class i have enjoyed for 2 expansions and see if i want to play them again.

My favourite Priest NPC is Prophet Velen. He is my favourite NPC because Draenei are my favourite race and he is a priest which ties in perfectly. His role during WoD was inspiring aswell.

Rogue is my favorite class by far, and I like what they're doing with subtlety I think it'll make the class a lot more exciting to play in raid also more challenging.

As far as favorite rogue npc it'd be Maiev Shadowsong I've always like her lore with Illidan pretty exciting stuff!

I think I'm going Hunter, I love my hunter now in Draenor. Also I love the whole Melee Hunter thing for Survival spec.

It'd be cool to see Rexxar while doing my artifact thing too.

Shaman for sure! I was very tempted to go back to the class I started with in TBC and played through about half of MoP, an Spriest... and they look great, but gotta be my resto shaman at this point <3. Also with both Enhance and Elemental looking like so much fun hard to say no to since I've mained both specs in the past and always like the option of being a flexible DPS. Favorite shaman in game has gotta be Nobundo, love his lore so much, I'm sure he'll be hanging out in the order hall too! (I'll totally be leveling my Spriest, monk, and DK close behind I'm sure... just have to figure out the order after my shaman!)

My main has always been my hunter.  It's what Im best at and have invested the most time into.  I also like having a pet that can tank for me when solo'ing.  I solo quite a bit.  As far as NPC class, what better than a druid?  They are versatile and can change roles depending on the situation.  Need a healer? You're covered.  Need additional DPS? Covered.  Need more aggro management? Covered.

I 've been playing WW monk since MOP and I loved it, Chen is just such an icon and all the background about the expansion was amazing but I felt so bad on how the team balanced monk trough WOD increasing and decreasing values just by 20%, 5%, 10% it looked more like they were playing with the numbers more than tunning it.

I want to try DH on the beta and if it is a strong class for DPS and it is fun to play I will take it as a main. Ilidian is the icon for the class.

My main in the past has been mostly a paladin, and I think I'll be maining retribution this expansion. Although I will definitely play my shaman to try out the doomhammer, my favourite class fantasy is definitely the bringer of justice and holy knight that is the ret paladin.

As for the NPC, I've been getting very interested and balls deep in Warcraft lore recently, and I'm very much looking forward to doing some quests and reading up on Turalyon.

Thank you for the giveaway and for the alliance!

(Holy) Priest for life. Looking forward to continuing it as my main in Legion.

Would love Anduin in the class hall. Feels like yesterday he was following me around Stormwind.

Ty for chance of winning beta key.

Of course its going to be PALADIN. I'm playing it from start. For me they have best lore, and after trying almost every class i keep coming back to paladin. And now addition to this is Ashbringer as artifact, you need to play paladin...

And for NPC in class hall ofc its Uther the Lightbringer.

I'm planning on playing a Fire Mage in Legion, the spec being valid has been a big miss IMO and I'm hoping the upcoming changes will get it back to it's best.

As for my favourite mage NPC, there are so many good ones but I think Medivh's ghost (or vision of Medivh) would be an awesome NPC for the class order halls.

No matter what, I always play my Hunter. He was my first and will always be my main. As for spec, I have always loved MM or Beast Master, but survival seems interesting enough to give a try.

I am super excited about the new Demon Hunter class, however the continuing my Death Knight will be my main priority at least in the first weeks of the expansion launch. Demon Hunters are next on my list with both pvp and pve testing in mind.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
