I will be doing the main of Mage in legion. I just love how all the specs are looking and hope to get to play one soon ;)

And as for favourite NPC - again for Mage it would have to be Khadgar, he is just so awesome and represented as so powerful ingame!

I play Blood Death Knight in live and will definately play it as my main in legion. Really looking forward to test the new rune system and new abilities cycle in Legion. I think for my favourate NPC i would choose Darian Mograine, my head commander. And I would very like to see my new boss, Bolvar Fordragon in my class hall(well, if not too much trouble).

My main will be a Priest (can you guess from my name)? I've fallen in love with all 3 specs of class (especially the saving potential of Disc and the raw execute damage of SPriest that can shine with a good Shadow player) and would love nothing more than to be able to test all the new changes. I help fellow priests over on Reddit, watch discussion of How2Priest/MMO-C, occasionally stream raids for applicants to my guild, and have written a basic guide for HFC way back when. I was pretty disappointed when I didn't get put in the Beta, but I understood Blizzard had to be fair.

My favorite class NPC is probably Prophet Velen. I don't know many lore Priests but that guy always stood out as a pretty baller Priest during the Shadowmoon Valley questline in WoD.

So I have been playing a Mage since the first day I set foot in Azeroth. The main reason is becuase I came from Runescape where magic was the bomb but required expensive runes,

so when I heard that mages in WoW didn't need runes I immediately assumed they must be OP (haha). Well regardless I fell in love and have never looked back...until now.

The lore for Warlocks has always seemed awesome. Basically the red-headed step child of the mages guild. The heroe Azeroth wants, but not what it deserves.

Now that lore is playing a bigger part in class Identity, I think it's finally time to turn to the dark side and become a Warlock! I'm very excited for what Legion has

in store for me!

Definitely gonna stay a priest. And I might be the only one, but my favourite priest is Anduin...

You must however provide a relevant reply in this topic, detailing your class pick and your favourite class NPC.

I pick Druid.

I was introduced to druid by good a friend of mine. And I instantly loved it.

However the devs playing around with the class setups in-game made me change from BOOMKIN to a tree, so with the changes in Legion it sounds like I'll be going back to the roots :D

My favourtie class NPC of the druid, gotta be Malorne. But, technically he is not a druid but the father of all druids you might say. Or Ysera ofc. the dragon aspect. Referred to as "mother of druids", however she's not. Great lore and lots hopes for the emerald dream in upcomming Legion!

I plan on playing Ret Pally (Artifact Ashbringer anyone?) and I would like to see Tirion Fordring despite what happenes to him.  Even more interesting, I would love to see Bolvar come down off the Frozen Throne to help the world by throwing the Scourge at the Burning Legion.

I'll be playing my Human Priest as my main character for Legion, since I'd love to see the shadow priest lore get some development, and see from where exactly they draw their power, as it hasn't been explained much!

I'd love to see Alonsus Faol in my Class Hall, as he is one of the most important priests in history, since he gave rise to the Paladins, by creating the Knights of the Silver Hand to combat the Orcish horde. It would be great to have such a pivotal character in my garrison, without whom, the orcs may have beaten the Alliance and forever changed the world from how we know it!

Priest, why? Because I'll get to experience the power of the void!

Velen would have to be my favorite after a certain quest we do in Legion! The feels!

Uncommon Patron

I will be maining a human holy paladin. I have had him since the last time we took on the Burning Legion. The changes to Holy in Legion mesh well with historical Paladins as fierce warriors in the thick of the battle. No paladin, regardless of role, should ever be casting from the rear while his brothers and sisters fight on the frontline!

I would love to see the spirit of Ares the Oathbound in the paladin class hall. He made the ultimate sacrifice a paladin can make, like many others, but I want the hall to pay homage to all our hero's so that we remember where we came from and why we must succeed in defeating the Legion for good.

so I have been playing a discipline priest (shadow off spec DPS) since late Wotlk and I won't change that, and my favorite Priest NPC has to be Velen simply because he would do ANYTHING to save his race and fight against the legion as we saw in WoD when he sacrificed himself!

I have played an Orc MM Hunter as my main, ever since I started playing Warcraft midway through WotLK and as much as I like some of the new changes to some of the other classes in legion, I think I'll be sticking with my MM Hunter.

All that and I've not even mentioned Thas'dorah legacy of the Windrunner's for artifact weapon! WOW!

It's difficult to look passed Sylvannas Windrunner within our Class Hall, or is it?! :D

Good luck everyone and thanks for the chance...

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
