Which class will be your main one in Legion?

Keeping my Brewmaster Monk as main.

I started playing as a monk with the realese of BRF (WoD), so I got some experience into the game already.

Which is your favourite class NPC?

I love is for sure Chen Stormshout

Which one would you like to see in your class' headquarters?

Even it says nowhere he is a Monk, I'd love to see a Shadow/Ghost/Spirit of Emperor Shaohao (Or even himself if it was possible)  just to get to know a bit more about his lore/life specially knowing a bit more about his staff (as it is a Monk artifact).

I'll be rolling the pally into Legion (who better to fight against demons), and it was my first character in vanilla.  A sprit of Arthas encouraging us to stay on the righteous path would be cool to have in the class hall.

I will probably roll with my DK as my main as I have for a while basically because he always seems to cool to me, ever since I made him back in Cata. I have one of every class at 100 though and I'll be playing them all and like them all very well but I more or less consider him my default main.

For favorite class NPC for DK I would say Thassarian, his story is very heart felt and he has always seemed very bad ass in the realm of Death Knights.

In legion I will be playing my warlock as I always did. My favorite npc at this moment is Gul'dan since he is the final boss for Nighthold!

I will probably end up playing my rogue, because it's been my main throughout the beginning. I love the class. laugh.png

Also the one person I'd like the most in my guild hall would be Pathonia Shaw (Grandmother of Mathias Shaw and founder of the Stormwind Assassins). If she wasn't old and decrepit that is, or she may even be dead? Who knows?

I played priest since classical, I'll keep my way.

I would like to see Anduin in class hall, so I may have a chance to join his way to revenge for his father.

As a hunter I sure hope to find Vol'jin in the hall. I know he's a priest card in Hearthstone, but he's a shadow HUNTER for crying out load. But yeah, if Vol'jin doesn't count as a hunter, then I'd choose the famous Hemet Nesingwary, the one true big game hunter ;)

I will continue to play with my two mains (BM Hunter and Disc Priest) But I would love to create a new demond Hunter and see if I like it. I prefer range spells to up close and personal attacks, but always willing to give a toon a chance. Who would I want in my class hall, well that depends on the toon, since I have 16 level 100's and all different, I don't know for example would love linch king on my DK hall, Silvana on my undead hunter..... So many posibilities...... I cannot wait for Legion.

I'm no native english speaker:

I'm planning on maining a Shadowpriest in Legion because I really like that they're going to revamp the specc.

I'm also maining a Shadowpriest since the beginning I've played WoW.

In my opinion it has been kind of an abandoned specc to be perfectly honest.

Not really many ppl tend to play or even main a Shadow because it doesn't have that instant 800k burst DPS button like other classes but I personally enjoy being a bit more versatile and crucial at some points, for example if you save the one guy that messed up with a Leap of Faith or help the Healers out by using Vampiric Embrace when huge damage is dealt.

It just fits very well that you are some kind of dark priest but still a priest within.

Also having that evil blade by your side which always whispers in your ear until you go insane is so frickin awesome!

It's like you're only able to withstand it because you're still a priest!

I personally am some kind of annoyed by the lack of shadow priest coverage in terms of information, for example which legendaries are available, how they would impact your playstyle and stuff that happens in your class order hall.

Speaking of Order Halls, I don't know famous Shadow Priests lorewise tbh, they've been also kind of... well, I mean name famous WoW Mages, there are tons, but Shadow Priests? Only one would be Natalie Seline, would be cool to encounter her spirit while traveling with Xal'atath or having it appear in your Order Hall, she could be bossy and disagreeing with the way you use her old blade :D I don't know, would be an awesome experience.

I'd like to get as much information as possible to maybe interest some ppl in the Shadow Priest and his ways.

Another interesting thing would be to look at professions since they'll grant you bonuses again and I'm curious to see how they turn out and how they would fit to the SP (Enchanting/Tailoring maybe?). Quite hyped for the new profession system and the lore behind it.

But I'm getting off topic.

I really looked forward to joining Beta but ppl with 11/13 Mythic don't get invites, it seems. It's a shame, few of my friends have clear and don't even care about Beta or don't want to see stuff before it launches.

Maybe there's still stuff to be fixed? There's always the possibility of running into some kind of bug no one else does that gets dragged into live.

I'm sure there are many ppl just like me that are honestly sad they did not get an invite,

I wish you good luck folks.

I am most likely going to switch to druid from paladin as I would like to try out Restoration healing and have fallen in love with their lore and aesthetic since visiting Moonglade and getting my moose and I would like to see Malfurion in the druid class order hall as he was the first Night Elf druid and is a major and interesting character in the lore.biggrin.png

Being a hunter player for long term, I'll still play hunter in the Legion. I AM eager to see the change of survival hunter !! The melee hunter bring me into the dream of classic WOW.

The most favorite hunter NPC is Rexxar for me. Cause he's appeared in Warcraft 3 as Horde hero.

Sylvanas is also a good option, but I though "she" is not just a hunter. tongue.png

Hi y'all, thanks for giving us the chance to win a beta key!

I'm resubbing after a long break (last played in Wrath), and I'm gonna level up my old mage. I always loved all the little toys mages have access to (portals, slow fall, spellsteal, food/water making), and with class identity playing a big role in Legion I think mages are gonna be awesome!

I hope to see Hecular make an appearance in the mage order hall. One of my favorite memories from vanilla was sneaking into Southshore to resurrect him.

Cheers!

I started healing with a paladin when HFC came out i plan to continue as a pally healer in Legion. My favorite NPC is the one and only Uther The Lightbringer, I would love to have him in the class order hall even if he is a ghost. Here's hoping to see him in Legion!

I have been playing hunter end expansion in WoD and really do enjoy the class. It has a high mobility and some good abilities that can aid the raid.

If not I will main a Demon Hunter,  because they look AWESOME!

I am very much looking forward for Illidan's redeption story, which I expect it to be, as he is my favourite NPC in the wow universe. Hopefully he will show up in the Order Hall :-)

However, my favourite hunter character must be Alleria Windrunner due to her internesting story! Hopefully she will show up at my Order hall!

Hello Icy-Veins .

I can't wait to play Legion as a paladin . I play WoW since WotLK as a paladin and it was awesome.

The best thing in Legion for me is that i will have a chanse to wield The Ashbringer and the awesome class order hall , but also as a paladin i would like to revenge for  Tirion Fordring's death.

Favorite NPC Tirion Fordring.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
