Thanks Icy Veins for holding this interesting contest that reminds us of the passion we have for our class!

For me I'd (still) like to choose priest as my main, as...once a priest, always a priest biggrin.png  . Its class identity gives me a strong sense of mission and its light-shadow duality sometimes inspires interesting philosophical thoughts.

My favorite priest character is Eris Heavenfire...well although that's a bit old-school, her importance in the class lore and character progression is without doubt for priests at that time. A sigil of eternal kindness and sacrifice, she is taken as a spiritual guide and one of the representatives for priest as a class.

To see her in the class hall, however, is a bit far-fetched. Though I'd really like to see her ghost to finally find peace and solace among her priest brethens in the beautiful naaru temple. I can accept any theory that explains how she mysteriously found her way among the wreckage left by cataclysm to finally reach the placewink.png

I will probably play monk. Ever since it has been released i have liked the playstyle, very mobile and doing damage while moving. There are not many big monk npc's but I hope to see Chen in the order hall brewing beers and stuff. And Taran Zhu will probably be there and almost die 3 times during the expansion XD.

Going to main Demon Hunter as soon as I can. Been waiting for them to be a playable class since BC. Obviously the best NPC is only one who was ever truly prepared.....Illidan!

I will play my mage as allways. I am not sure if I play frost or arcane. I will test both, maybe on the Beta realms, if I am lucky. smile.png

My favorite Npc is Khadgar. He is really famous of course, but I know him since Warcraft 2 and he is the reason that I created my mage once upon a time...

I'll continue to main my warrior. The class simply fits me so well, and I love the lore of it.
As for NPCs I've always been captured by Varok Saurfang, father of Dranosh 'Deathbringer' Saurfang.
Ever since I leveled in Wrath and got to the Wrathgate quest chain, I just.. Well, you might say Wrath's lore was spot on. Made me interested in the lore at least, more than I was before.
To finally put High Overlord Saurfang's mind to rest was a nice moment in the lore, and it gave me Deathbringer's Will. 2 for 2!

At the moment druid is my class but as soon as I see more of the demon hunters and get to play them and try them out I'll either be rolling that or just stick with my druid but the mobility is what draws me to the class. Feral has a nice speed with its cat form and talent choices but demon hunters look even more mobile! Can't wait. My favorite class NPC is definitely Malfurion and Illidan because of the whole story with them and Tyranda and the well of eternity, it is my favorite wow lore piece. I would love to see Illidan in the demon hunter class hall or have him pay a visit to the druid class hall with Malfurion in it and have a funny interaction between them from time to time. So hyped for legion!

I will main a hunter in Legion, but I haven't decided which spec I will be using so I am very excited to try the beta and test the different specs.

I would like to have Vereesa Windrunner in my Order hall since she seems to be a cool character and learning more about her would really be exciting for me.

I will be playing a Discipline Priest. The main reason is that my best choice for suriving WoD was playing something new, and I hope the Disc Priest will be a new and fun experience.

I will be Maining Monk for legion. I was a death knight in Wrath and Cata, but when Mop came out i switched to monk because of the mobility (which was lacking on the dk). I came to love my monk and have played it since. The new changes look quite fun for the monk class and i'm excited to try them out. I main windwalker and heal as mistweaver on occasion.

The NPC i would like to see in the monk class order hall would be Xuen. I love all four of the celestial's, but Xuen takes the cake. I know i can summon him as a windwalker but id love to see him talking and what not with his full personality.

I'm gonna main a Druid in Legion as i love the flexibility the class provides to my raid and of course, Owls. :)

The NPC I'd like to see in the Druid Class Hall is Fandral Staghelm, or at least a redeemed version of him. Too bad we killed him off in Firelands :D

I'm going to main paladin. I have been a warrior of the light for soo long that I can't imagine maining anything else in legion.

As for the npc, I'm a blood elf so I'm hoping Lady Liadrin will be there.

I will main my DK in Legion.

I have been playing this class for a long time now, and I just can't stop playing them.

They are so much fun to play and also not that hard.

My DK was also my first char ever to reach max lvl, so I have a sort of bond with him :)

My favorite DK is of course Arthas. I would like to see him in my order hall. I just love his whole backstory, which is just perfect.

But because it is impossible for him to return (at least thats what I believe) I would like to see Darion Mograine in my Order Hall.

He also has a very good story behind him and I just adore him!!

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
