I will most likely be maining an affliction Warlock in legion. Although I'm a bit apprehensive about unstable affliction being a spender ability now. One Class NPC that I would like to see be more active in legion is Vol'Jin. I'm also excited to see sylvannas have a major role again.

Definitely priest, and definitely disc. By far my favourite class/spec.

As for a priest I would want to see in my class hall... Velen and Tyrande.

Most likely will me keeping my paladin as my main. It would be pretty sweet to have Tirion as a ghost pop into the paladin class hall from time to time!

After many hours of watching the changes to the tanking classes I have decided to main a Guardian Druid. This new iteration seems miles better than WOD's not to mention how amazing its artifact weapon makes it look.

As for the NPC I have always liked Hamuul Runetotem he fits the "How a druid should look" image in my opinion. He reminds me of the tauren that appears in the vanilla cinematic. (Now, I dont know if she counts as a druid class NPC but, if I can pick Ysera, then Ysera it is)

My main class in Legion is going to be a Demon hunter. I just want to fight fire with fire) And it is so mobile.
I want to see Illidan as NPC, because it's my favourite tragic character since... Warcraft 3!

My favorite class is a pally for the fact that my dad always tanked and healed as one and I thought it would be so amazing to be one.

The npc I hope to see in the pally class order hall is Highlord Trion.

I would LOVE to say that I am maining my hunter again in Legion, as she was my first toon and I have weathered every up and down of the class and MM spec since BC, but the shenanigans going on in the hunter alpha forums have me deeply concerned for the future of my favorite class/spec. I am going to hold out judgement until I can actually try Legion hunter for myself, but it is likely that my main for the new expac will be my druid.

I am looking forward to all effort being poured into the stories for the different classes though. I really hope at least one of the Windrunner's are in the hunter's hall, or maybe Shandris.

In this expansion, as in every expansion, I will be maining my warrior. And obviously the best example of a warrior in lore and my favourite is Varian, though ...

he's not in our class hall as far as I know, which is weird since he's supposed to be dead and our class hall is where dead warriors go...so where is he?

If you read that and had something spoiled, it's not my fault, I put it in spoiler tags for a reason!

Hey I will play my fury warrior its what I have played since the end of bc when I started playing its always been fun to try the new things they have put into the game over the years been a great ride. Grom hellscream is my fav class spec npc. I first started enjoying him and his story in the warcraft games in warcraft 3 it was alot of fun learning and playing the story of the horde. so seeing him in the hall be awesome

I've been playing the game since burning crusade, I always thought Illidan was badass and because of this I'm looking towards demon hunter as my main for legion.

I will be playing my Shadow Priest in Legion. As far as class hero, I've always liked Tirion Fordring. I think his story is one of accomplishment, and ultimately tragedy.

Since I first really saw him in the LK intro quest during WotLK Beta, I've always liked adventuring with him.

Been a feral druid since 2006, plan on staying that way til the end of time.  When feral parses so poorly it can't raid I've quit over rerolling. I even have a horde and alliance kitty cat at roughly the same ilvl so I can play with friends without heartache.  Lol  cat drood 4 fite and all that.

I feel like a lot of my choices for class-specific NPCs have already had their stories written.  I guess mostly it sounds like I want more druids to choose from.  I suppose currently I like Malfurion the most - which I suppose is a kind of cheap answer but to me he sort of symbolizes the best of druids.  That ideal where he is a master of all the abilities, a true 'hybrid' (or leet haxxor with all the talent trees, whichever you choose).

I'll be playing Elemental Shaman, the class changes have made it viable again in PVE and PVP for the regular players, the new class hall mechanics makes us go back to the world and im looking forward to it!

I'll most likely be going Demon Hunter. If I don't like the playstyle during early access (right before the release of the expansion) I'll probably go Mage (Haven't played Mage since vanilla).

While I doubt it's going to happen, I'd like to see Illidan appear in the class hall at one point during the expansion or perhaps Maiev (while not a Demon Hunter herself) as someone who "keeps an eye" on the Demon Hunters.

My main class in Legion will continue to be my Death Knight. I've stayed by my Death Knight so far because I was interested in the lore surrounding the Lich King. My favorite NPC that I've seen is Illidan Stormgrage because when I first saw him in the Black Temple I almost died. To me he was huge and I never thought I could beat him.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
