I'm most looking forward to Demon Hunters.  Illidan has always been a favorite character of mine and being able to read about the creation of the demon hunters is making this all the better.   I'm not sure what NPCs will be in the Class Hall but I'm really hoping to see some of the characters from the book make appearances as well as seeing Illidan walking around, or at least honored in some way.   Demon Hunters have piqued my interest so much I'm actually thinking about coming back to the game after swearing it off a while back

After watching most of the streams the past 6 hours, I’m 100% sure I’m going to play an elemental shaman. The shaman fantasy and the way the class plays has always appealed to me but I was always hesitant to try it out.  When it comes to picking out an NPC that is a Shaman, I have to admit I really do enjoy Naraat the Earthspeaker. He got the Alliance started into Deepholm with his spells back in Cataclysm and has stoically been guarding the portals ever since. I would like to see his role expanded in the class order hall in the Malestrom.

I am really excited to play Priest as my main in Legion.

As far as my favourite class NPC. I would have to go with High Priestess Ishanah.

Thanks

I'm going to be rocking my Priest all the way to 110 first! I want to try out all the healing classes, but Priest, like it always has been my first to ding!
I would wanna see Velen and his apprentice Anduin Wrynn in my halls, giving me all kinds of advices and tips! Plus, Anduin is a really nice character on Alliance, but I doubt his dad would want him near my Blood Elf..

Always been a fan of the hot style of healing. The new mastery seems quite interesting as well, and requires you to sort of keep more focused on what hots you have running on 1 person to get the greatest healing gain. Gotta give a shout out to my boy Malfurion Stormrage, the original druid.

Been playing since wrath, been in love with Death Knights since their release.Would love to see some of the iconic ICC bosses (Blood Queen, Marrowgar) make a cameo in our class hall. especially since now we have several talents named after them.

The character I would most like to see, even though I know it would never happen is Kael'thas Sunstrider. I would also enjoy a gnome lore character that is not as much of an obvious joke as Millhouse Manastorm.

I always like trying new classes, especially if they can tank (!), so I'll be a Demon Hunter in Legion. =)

Though it's not my fav "class NPC", I really look forward seeing what role will Illidan play in the story (DH's story, and in general).

Since I started in Burning Crusade I played the legion paladin and be my main. It is the character for my taste with more versatility and represents the struggle of good against evil . My favorite role is Holy . I would like that the classes appear Uther headquarters . For me it is the paladin authentic . and see you in Legion.  Since I started in Burning Crusade I played the legion paladin and be my main. Holy Paladin will probably stay as my main in Legion. I really liked Tirion Fordring back in WoTLK and was disapointed when his story ended in Cata. I was hoping to see him in Pandaria and then in WoD, but for some reason he just disappeared from main events line. I think he has to die in Legion so we can have Ashbringer but who knows maybe he will be just way too old or sick and give it to us, so we could fight with legion and he will just sit in Order Hall and guide us. Would be g8 to have him back.

I will be starting of with a shadow priest, since that is what i have been maining in wod and it was good for the most part except for Clarity of Power, Just so happy it's gone. And the replacement of shadow orbs for insanity seems like it will provide a fun experience. My favourite priest NPC would be velen, i don't have a good reason for it it's just that he is a interesting lore character and i don't know of any other important priest lore characters

Demon Hunter. Having played all classes at level 100 I want something different and if I get in beta I'll be able to see if Demon Hunters are the "different thing" I've been looking for.

My favorite NPC is Lady Liadrin, she's actually the reason why I had to decide between Paladin and Demon Hunter but the desire of seing new things was stronger.

I love it's lore and how Dark the shadow spec is. But i'm really looking forward the beta so I can try other classes and specs. I'd love to see Anduin, as we saw him grown up, same as us through the expansions.Sorry if i wrote something wrong, I Don't speak english very well. Good luck everyone.

My mainclass will most likely be a priest. I am not totally set yet, since I really like druid as well, but I think I will give holy priest a shot.

As for my favourite: I don't really know relevant horde priests, and since I always played horde, I don't care so much about the alliance's priests, though Anduin obviously is a good guy! ;)

I would really like to see some Naruu there beside some draenei priests.

Maybe Soulbinder Tuulani would like to tag along to see something else than the inside of my garrison again :-P

I'll be maining Holy Priest. The change to Holy Words, and the removal of Chakra looks interesting, engagning and fun. Class Halls in general look fantastic, but my favorite is the priest and I'm fine with the reused garrison interface as a quest hub.

I really like Anduin Wrynn, and especially his lore. Love to see alot of him in Legion.

I'm definitely going to play mistweaver monk in Legion! It's what I've been playing since the MoP beta and I'm not planning on stopping.

As for a character I'd really like to see in the monk class hall? The spirit of Emperor Shaohao!

Awsome stuff! I pre-purchased Legion on EU and NA so I'm hoping I can give it a swirl in Beta.

My main has been a Ret Pally but now I really want to try the DH this Expac and maybe make it my new main.

Who do I want to see in my class hall? LINKEN from at the Un'Goro Crater (cause Zelda is legendary)

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
