I've mained a destruction warlock since I started playing and I'll most likely still main him in Legion. I'd love to see some of the most popular warlock npc's in the game like Gul'dan or Archimonde in the order hall.Main - WarlockNpc- Gul'dan or Archimonde.

My main has always been a hunter, after playing MM Hunter for a couple of years and I am really looking forward to trying the new survival hunter. Curious how it plays and how the balance is compared to the other two range specs.

I'm looking forward to Legion I can't say I had a first main because I jump off characters and, play different ones. Well I guess it would be my shaman back in Lich King my ever first main like I said I jump in Cataclysm it was warlock then monk in Mist of Pandria

I'll be playing a priest, maining as Shadow and off-speccing to Discipline. The new void form looks absolutely fantastic and the Surrender to Madness talent emphasises how fun the spec looks. Holy and Disc both look like a lot of fun and having the option to fill in as a healer after playing pure DPS (Rogue) all of WoD. The idea of surrendering yourself to the void to reach the highest levels of power whilst barely staying in control of the powers coursing through you sounds pretty epic. Having a hybrid DPS/Healing class also looks like great fun for pushing that extra bit of DPS or shoring up on the healing to keep the group alive.

For an NPC, after becoming the new wielder of the reforged Frostmourne, having the Lich King do your bidding would be pretty amusing, despite it not making a lot of sense. Having power over the scourge is pretty much the most death knight thing ever, plus his armour goes well with my transmog.

Best of luck to everyone!

I think my main is gonna be my hunter, which i have played since i started at early BC.  I really like the hunter as it easy and relaxing to play when doing casual stuff. And got a potential in raid in terms min maxing.  I would like to see Hemet Nesingwary in the hunters class orders halls as he has been one of my favourite npc's throughout the game

I will be maining as a Demon Hunter tank :)  I have been looking forward to getting back into tanking since i kind of lost interest in it ever since mist of pandaria unfortunately :(  But Legion is looking amazing!  And Blizzard is doing an amazing job with the game to make it be as epic as ever when it is released.  The class halls are such a great new addition to the game as it provides that feeling of just feeling superior knowing you have your own hall for your class, makes you kind of feel like a little bit of a badass lol.  But all in all, I am looking forward to this amazing new expansion that Blizzard has put so much work and effort into making it an awesome game that will bring players back in, bring old players back in, and even introduce new players to the game :)  I hope that I can get an invite before Legion actually comes out because I would really love to experience the new content right now already and be part of the helping crew when it comes to noticing bugs and such you know?  It's nice being a person who can contribute a little bit of something to the game's development.  Best of luck to everyone though and hope we can get us some keys for Legion Beta to experience all of it's glory that it is going to full on portray on it's release :)  Sorry for the long message too haha, I have a bad habit of rambling on.

Planning on either staying with my Brewmaster Monk or switching to a Vengence Demon Hunter depending on how everything pans out, or maybe going back to my Protection Paladin, its kinda undecided till I can try them out!

For me I think my favorite NPC are the most memorable ones, I have fond memories of the dude who yells at the Fruit Vendor in Shattrath City, FRUIT VENDOR!!

I've been a Druid since vanilla and a Druid I will stay. For an NPC to grace the class hall, I would vote for Zen'Kiki. He shows all druids have to start somewhere

I will be maining a Blood Death Knight in Legion!
Sticking with my current main, I personally love the new changes that Blizzard are applying to the spec, and playing blood should be a joy for raiding, hooray heart strike!
MY favourite NPC for Death Knights has to be Baron Rivendare, because if I'm nice to him, surely he'll give me his shiny mount..right?

I've been a Warrior since Vanilla as my main, and I intend to keep that going through Legion.  Still unsure if I will go Arms or Fury out of the gate, but I VERY pleased with the changes Blizz has made to the class thus far.  The animations, class hall, everything about it has me excited for Legion

This class is my main since 8 years, and love the power of the demons and slay my enemies with them. My favourite warlock npc is Jubeka Shadowbreaker, the master of summoning demons.

My major should be DH, the new tier armor of DH is so cool that i gave up my little warrior.  Maybe the most famous DH ( i made it wrong to warrior:\) must be Illidan for no doubt

I think it's the right time to play my shadow priest in this expansion. A warlock could be a good idea also for me and I will try both classes. Also, in Legion I'd like Alleria Windrunner to show up and melt faces. She's one of my favourite NPCs even though she hasn't made an appearance yet

I'll be maining a demon hunter initially, it's something i've been waiting for ever since i first did the warcraft 3 campaigns, add that to a great class fantasy and some really cool visuals, and you have me sold.

As to NPC's i'm looking forward to interacting with, both of the demon hunters you encounter during the starting area seem interesting, especially as they have polarizing opinions about the direction their order should head in order to defeat the Legion.

There are no other choice for me, mage it is once Legion lunches. Having over 2000 hours only on my mage shows how I like the class. From what I've seen from videos and forums, the mage changes looks really awesome and appeiling to me, fire in perticular but also the change to Brain Freeze and how they've worked with arcane. Really looking foward with Legion as my guild will be going from semi-casual (3 raid nights) to something more intense with around 4-5 raid nights. As I am the ranged officer, it is crucial that I know every specs pretty well to ensure a good progression through the expansion. Big fan of your website btw, really comes in handy in many situations

Thinking about maining a holy priest in legion since I usually main a healer.  Looks to be fun gameplay and excellent healing.  I haven't looked into what NPCs will be in the priest order halls but would love to Tyrande Whisperwind there.

I'mthinking of maining a warlock as i'm curious and excited to see demonlogy and from what i've seen and heard its going to very pet based now and the skills look nice. But as a fall back or alt i'm also leveling my hunter which was my very first character and really want to see how marksman has changed. i loved rexxar from warcraft  although i would love to play survival and be a little like him, i'm not very good with melee

I will definitely main Death Knight in Legion, as I have in every expansion since WotLK. Considering how much identity and lore they have behind them (and the amount of added badass-ery they are getitng in Legion), I couldn't possibly justify playing anything else.  My hope for a NPC in the class hall would be Teron Gorefiend, one of the OG Death Knights in Warcraft. His spirit is still waiting for a suitable host, so not only would it be awesome, but would also be possible

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
