Survival is not so good as I thought, but changes of other two specs are amazing, and, of course, tons of new tamable pets. There are a lot of things to do with hunter in legion.

I'm not very loyal to a specific class, but I have two classes that I am looking forward to playing

Mage:

I just love the raw power that an Arcane Mage brings to the table. If I do decide to play a Mage in Legion, I hope I see Kalec in my Order Hall.

Shaman:

Shaman will most likely be the class I pick for Legion. I've always been into the elements, especially Earth. If I do end up playing a Shaman, then I hope to encounter Aggra in there.

Cheers!

I used to play undead rogue as my main but i'll probably switch to my blood elf survival hunter for Legion ! My favorite hunter NPC is Nathanos Blightcaller, as a true servant of the banshee queen ^^ and for the enjoyable quests he gave in the eastern plaguelands during WoW vanilla !

I started vanilla with a druid and my shadow priest for pvp... loved those twink 39 days, exhaled with AB @ 39... ouch /timeplayed.... then since TBC priest all the way.

Mt favourate NPC must be the linch king, again loved the WotlK and his involvement through out!

I'd like to try the new class (of course), so I'll most likely have Demon Hunter as my main-despite my appreciation towards mages. The other reason, apart from that, is that Illidan has been my favorite NPC ever since I started playing.

I only hope I AM PREPARED for what's to come in the new expansion!

Feral Druid since WoLK all the way till now. Favorite NPC is Illidan Stormrage. The Lore of his story is just simply amazing from him trying to master arcane magic to him becoming the betrayer and being a part of one of the most tragic stories in Azeroth History. A beta Key would be amazing just to see how it would be to be a part of his Army.

Main class will Definitely be frost mage, as I'm loving it now, and the changes look amazing in legion. For an NPC to see in my class hall, I think it would be interesting to have Jaina in it and to see what she would bring up in the discussions of facing the legion.

I'll be maining my shaman. I tried for a while in MoP to main a monk and it was a lot of fun but I just can't stop shaman'ing. I just can't do it. god someone help me. Anyway as for favorite shamany NPC, I'd probably be shot at dawn if I didn't say Thrall. And yeah Thrall's cool, but I actually think Nobundo doesn't get the love he deserves. Dude was rejected by his gods, got like irradiated, driven out of his home, and said y'know what f this noise. I'm getting some new gods and we're going to have blackjack and hookers.

I'm going to main a Warrior, I've been doing it for a decade through thick and thin, no need to give up on him now. My favorite Warrior NPC is Varok Saurfang, his story and fierce accolades of battles past make him the perfect role model for Warriors everywhere.

I shall be maining by Hunter that I have had since BC. I know the class inside and out so raid leading is easy whilst playing it. And I too hope Rexxar and Misha are chilling in my class hall, so they can take notes =p

I was having a hard time deciding between Mage and Rogue this expansion but with the addition of both Kael'thas and Aegwynn's weapons as their artifacts I couldn't pass it up. Aegwynn has always been one of my favourite character in WoW's lore and it has been a shame to have her so unknown by the playerbase. Finally people will get to see and learn more about the greatest Mage of all time

I will definitely be maining a druid because of the amazing new forms! Sadly my guild is on Horde but my druid is an alliance because to me night elves are the only true druids.

I would love to see Malfurion in our order halls. He is such a cool character and he gave me my sick moose.

I have been maining a Warrior since late vanilla and never thought the day would come for me to actually main anything else, but with demon hunter looking as it does, I just can't hide from the fact that they look insane and would fit my playstyle like a glove. As for my favorite NPC in-game, I would have to say Pusillin, not because he is a major character in the warcraft universe but seing him really brings back some good old memories

Because I like the feeling of treating people. The one NPC I'd like to see make an appearance in our class order hall is probably Velen.

Ever since learning about Demon Hunters during TBC, I've always had the urge and need to be able to play one within the game. Their backstory, lore and overall appearance appeal to me on another level than 'Hmm, that sounds cool..I'll play that'. The best thing I find about Demon Hunters, is how they are in a constant battle with their inner self/demon, to the point they tore out their own eyes due to the visions said demon showed them.. So not only are they in a constant fight with the Burning Legion, they are also doing the same with themselves.

My Favourite class NPC would have to be Kayn Sunfury. He stays true to Illidan despite everything that had happened to him and his fellow Demon Hunters. He still believes in his ideals and why the fight and after Illidans death, puts his faith and ideals onto you and follow you as faithfully as he did Illidan.

Shamans (elemental shamans in particular) seem to be getting a lot more interesting in legion, so I'll be maining that for legion. I just love the idea of throwing enormous lava bursts at people. Been healing for a few years now, but I think it's time to try something different and be a hybrid in raids (healer-dps). I'd like to see someone other than green jes. Yes, someone other than Thrall in legion. Perhaps some ally love for once, and we'll get to see actual alliance shammies like Farseer Nobundo?

My main class in Legion is going to be warlock like always. I dislike the Gameplay of Destruction and Affliction a bit but Demo is gonna be fun ;)

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
