Main class for Legion: I will be swapping mains over to Warrior. The class fantasy surrounding this class is amazing and who doesnt like smashing things in the face with two huge swords. Npc I'd love to see in the order would be High Overlord Saurfang. I only play alliance but he is the reason i ever touched warrior when starting WoW. Having him in the class hall would be great the lore behind him and never losing a battle along side Grom just screams a warrior deserving to reside in the halls of valor

Going back to my main a hunter after switching to a mage for HFC. I have always loved my hunter since vanilla. I will level my hunter first and probably then my mage. Sylvanas has always been my favorite NPC in the game. Something about how she is an the leader of the undead, which is always been my favorite race and zones

Other than trying out the new demon hunter class, I will definitely be maining my death knight. The changes coming to each spec with class fantasy at the head of everything make playing a death knight look even more incredible. As for the npc I'd like to see, it would easily be the Lich King

I am looking forward to the changes that have been made to Elemental Shamans in Legion so that will definitely be my main. However when it comes to class NPCs, I would have to say that Uther the Lightbringer is my favourite class NPC. All the way since Warcraft III.

I'm going to be rolling my paladin straight into Legion, been maining paladin since Vanilla, and she's not stopping now.

Sadly, as a paladin, the living NPCs aren't as awesome as the deceased ones, still wish I could have Uther hanging out in the class hall.

My main will no doubt be a Rogue, more specifically Subtlety Rogue. For the very first time in years I really do feel like they nailed my dream class fantasy, I've been playing a Rogue in and out mostly because even tho fantasy wise it was my top pick, gameplay wise I didn't fully feel it. From what I've seen however Subtlety rogue at least *feels* perfect. In the past expansions I've been hyped about new features, continents, theme etc. In Legion i'm hyped about my class and spec, and boy does that feel special and it is the reason I want a Beta invite so much, to really see for myself and feel the Sub Rogue brand new experience As for the NPC, eaaaaasy answer. The Ogre and only Ogre Rogue from our garrisons, how can you not love him?#bringdaggfromdraenor

Fury Warrior will be the main class. I've been a Warrior since 2004. Loved watching Swifty for years wreck face. The changes to the warrior class are going to be something of which I'm excited to take part. Favorite NPC is Jaina Proudmoore . I got a thang for crazy xD

I gotta go with Druid! Such a fun class with so many different opportunities to change playstyle. I am really fond of the paladins and highlords in the actual lore/game though!

I will be playing my mage as my main, as I have every expansion since I started playing. As a blood elf, I would like to see Grand Magister Rommath in the order hall

I will be playing a Disc or Holy Priest, and am very excited to see what how they plan to distinguish different healing roles by class and spec.

My favorite NPC, and who I would most want in my guild hall, is Reginald Windsor. Hopefully they bring him back as a shade or something, but following him during the Onyxia attunement chain was the best! Not only was he the slowest walking NPC of all time, but he is also the most popular man in SW, based on how many guards and civilians stopped to chat with him. He is an all around baller.

I've played my Druid since I began playing the game (around when Mara came out), and will continue to do so. Haven't decided between Resto or Boomkin though. Favourite Druid NPC is of course Malfurion. Although I'm a Hordie, but that's okay

I will play as a priest. Discipline, I believe, but sometimes shadow. I like the shadow priest's ability to manipulate one's mind and to sow seeds of terror and fear before killing. It is adorable.

My favorite priest npc is High Inquisitor Sally Whitemane - she is single-minded, persistent... well, she is fanatic, after all. But I really like her :)

I will be playing a priest. I love the fact that I choose who lives and who dies. Discipline is going to become addicting in legion because i will be able to put out the damage and be able to keep my friends alive.  Anduin Wrynn is the one priest npc I look at and can respect. While Velen is a great priest he hates any kind of conflict even if its for the greater good. And the only other major priest I know of is Tyrande. Tyrande is powerful but her judgement is clouded by to many factors while Anduin try to make the best choice based on facts presented to him.

I'm definitely maining a Demon Hunter. I've been a Monk since Mists of Pandaria Beta, and Demon Hunters go way beyond Monks. I guess Varedis Felsoul is my favorite, considering I take his blades and all. It would be cool to see his body kept in the Fel Hammer, much like Magtheridon in Hellfire Citadel

I will be maining a Death Knight  come Legion. Ever since I started watching my friend play WoW in TBC, I had an interest for Arthas from WC3. Just the idea of an undead magical warrior of death controlling and killing things with frost sounds so awesome,

In a perfect world, I would have Arthas in my Class hall, but I could settle for Bolvar, or even Deathbringer Saurfang! I am SO excited to do the artifact quest line for Death Knights. Assembling a new and powerful weapon from the shards of Frostmourne? That's so cool! Sign me up!

My main class will be a Paladin as I have played ranged most of my time in WoW. Having seen ashbringer and what legion will offer has enticed me further towards playing a Paladin. Obviously Tirion has to be the greatest figure in terms of representing the paladin class his role in ICC captivated me thoroughly. I recently returned to playing wow and am ecstatic about the upcoming expansion.

Illidan is probably the most iconic there is, and also an easy favorite. I did love Leotharas the Blind though in SSC!

I'll be playing a Demon Hunter!

I'll be continuing on with my hunter in Legion. I would have to say my favorite NPC would be Hogger. Purely because of the fact most of my characters are human & he is a huge part of the questline as you start to level. Plus because of Stormwind Stockades.

Priest has been my love since WotLK and I'm sticking to it, I'm excited about shadow's overhaul. The character I'd love to see in our class hall (and we won't because paladins. She was a priestess of Karabor after all. I hope Moira Thaurissan is there too though.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
