My favorite class is a pally for the fact that my dad always tanked and healed as one and I thought it would be so amazing to be one.The npc I hope to see in the pally class order hall is Highlord Trion

I would LOVE to say that I am maining my hunter again in Legion, as she was my first toon and I have weathered every up and down of the class and MM spec since BC, but the shenanigans going on in the hunter alpha forums have me deeply concerned for the future of my favorite class/spec. I am going to hold out judgement until I can actually try Legion hunter for myself, but it is likely that my main for the new expac will be my druid.  I am looking forward to all effort being poured into the stories for the different classes though. I really hope at least one of the Windrunner's are in the hunter's hall, or maybe Shandris

In this expansion, as in every expansion, I will be maining my warrior. And obviously the best example of a warrior in lore and my favourite is Varian, though . Spoiler he's not in our class hall as far as I know, which is weird since he's supposed to be dead and our class hall is where dead warriors go.so where is he? If you read that and had something spoiled, it's not my fault, I put it in spoiler tags for a reason

Hey I will play my fury warrior its what I have played since the end of bc when I started playing its always been fun to try the new things they have put into the game over the years been a great ride. Grom hellscream is my fav class spec npc. I first started enjoying him and his story in the warcraft games in warcraft 3 it was alot of fun learing and playing the story of the horde

I will be playing my Shadow Priest in Legion. As far as class hero, I've always liked Tirion Fordring. I think his story is one of accomplishment, and ultimately tragedy.  Since I first really saw him in the LK intro quest during WotLK Beta, I've always liked adventuring with him

Been a feral druid since 2006, plan on staying that way til the end of time.  When feral parses so poorly it can't raid I've quit over rerolling. I even have a horde and alliance kitty cat at roughly the same ilvl so I can play with friends without heartache.  Lol  cat drood 4 fite and all that. I feel like a lot of my choices for class-specific NPCs have already had their stories written.  I guess mostly it sounds like I want more druids to choose from.  I suppose currently I like Malfurion the most - which I suppose is a kind of cheap answer but to me he sort of symbolizes the best of druids.  That ideal where he is a master of all the abilities, a true 'hybrid' (or leet haxxor with all the talent trees, whichever you choose)

I'll most likely be going Demon Hunter. If I don't like the playstyle during early access (right before the release of the expansion) I'll probably go Mage (Haven't played Mage since vanilla). While I doubt it's going to happen, I'd like to see Illidan appear in the class hall at one point during the expansion or perhaps Maiev (while not a Demon Hunter herself) as someone who "keeps an eye" on the Demon Hunters

Thassarian is my favorite class NPC.

Thanks for giving us a chance to play Legion early

My main class in Legion is going to be a Demon Hunter, because i love the lore and fast mele class wearing cool weapons.

My favorite NPC is Thrall, but in my order hall as Demon Hunter i would love to see Illidan.

My main class in Legion will continue to be my Death Knight. I've stayed by my Death Knight so far because I was interested in the lore surrounding the Lich King. My favorite NPC that I've seen is Illidan Stormgrage because when I first saw him in the Black Temple I almost died. To me he was huge and I never thought I could beat him

I will preserve the true essence of the warrior path, to protect the weaks through the blood and flesh of our enemies. Victory or death.

For Legion I will continue representing the light by playing a holy paladin. One of my favorite paladin NPCs would have to be Lady Liadrin

I've played all the classes in the game so far and been waiting for the Demon Hunter since TBC. Favorite DH would be Illidan for most being lore heavy and well represented, for myself however must be Leotheras the Blind. Wiping on this guy in SSC a few days on end, seeing clothies being viable tanks for the fire phase, made for an unforgettable experience

I first tried Huntering in BC and got my first taste of raiding in Karazhan.  When I was assigned to trap a boss and keep him occupied during the Council fight, I found my love.  Special Ops, and what class is better suited to Special Ops assignments than the hunter?  This role has only expanded and after a hiatus, I returned for serious raiding in ToT and SoO.  From Shell kicking on Tortos, Nest team on the bird boss, belts on Siegecrafter, Engineer killing on Garrosh, and so many more.  I have felt like an asset to whatever  team I'm on.  I may not be the top dps (though that does happen time to time), but if you got a dirty, ugly, annoying job that just HAS to get done and done right, Thats my job. As for class inspirational figure, you have to go with Rexxar.  He's a big throwback to when all hunters had Melee weapons and feared the deadzone between melee and ranged attacks.  Did Rexxar fear it?  No, he revelled in adapting to the situation and kicking butt.

I will pe playing Demon Hunter. I'm excited about their mobility and lifesteal mechanics, as well as their lore.

If I had to choose a NPC to have in my order hall, I would choose Illidan Stormrage, as he is my favourite Warcraft character and I would like having him as a mentor for my own demon hunter.

It's gotta be Shaman for me.  Even after so many nerfs, it is still one of the most dynamic classes in combat and a blast to heal with.  Would love to see what Legion has to offer.

I plan on maining a Rogue in Legion, they've always been my favorite class because I love the aspect of stealth and burst damage. The element of surprise as a rogue has always been pretty rad to me, at least. My favorite rogue class NPC has to be Edwin VanCleef - his story, alongside the entirety of the Defias' lore is really interesting to me and I've quite enjoyed the whole vengeful/rebellion storylines for a while, now

I'll be playing a monk especially after the changes to mastery and how the combat style seems more fluid now especially with the removal of jab. I think it would be really cool to see Taran Zhu in the class order halls, after helping us defeat the sha it would be great to see him help against the legion as well.

I'll play Frost Mage as main in legion, because It's by far my favorite class ever. Played since vanilla and have every class on both horde and alliance. I'd like to see Jaina and Khadgar in my class order hall.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
