My main for Legion will most likely be my rogue, which was my very first character starting out in Vanilla.  I mained a mage for WoD and it was fun, but I miss my rogue, and I'm excited for the Outlaw spec.  I really wanted to test this spec out in the beta.

My favorite rogue NPC would have to be Moroes, for some reason the memory of getting his emerald ripper sticks with me to this very day, maybe its the Kharazan nostalgia, but I liked the character a lot in the novel The Last Guardian.  A runner up would have to be Garona!

The Legion, I'm going to play warlock, because it is my life. The greatest warlock of course Gul`Dan said, I believe that odnoko Kel`Tas Sunstrider is also considered as such - though not justly convicted.

I voted Druid in the poll because it have been the class i enjoyed the most recently and during WOD. It always felt right healing as resto and easy to keep up, and what ive heard from blizz they are happy with how resto works atm aswell so ill deffently go for druid. Thats also why i would love to somehow try the druids in the legion build before release to be 100% sure resto druid is what ill roll with in legion aswell and not be dissapointed and waste time on reroll but rather get going with gearing (y) GL to everyone best of luck; hopefully legion is good

I'll still main a warlock come legion, demonology looks especially interesting and fun to play. My favorite and the most famous warlock NPC would be gul'dan but since we are fighting him, I wish he'd be chained/detained in the class order hall after we defeat him.

My main class in Legion is going to be a warrior because they are fearless and brutal. The one NPC I'd like to see in my class hall is Garrosh Hellscream

I am going to main a Demon Hunter during Legion. I am interested in the class fantasy, and wonder if they might go down an Angels and Demons type of road using the class as a key player in that scenario. I also like the physics of the class - I am most hyped about Glide, as I cannot count the amount of times I have died due to fall damage. In terms of seeing a notable NPC at the class order hall, I would cast my vote for Leotheras the Blind, resident Demon Hunter of Serpentshrine Cavern. After reading the Illidan novel, I have a new level of respect for anybody that tries to succeed in the training to become a Demon Hunter, and feel even more sorry for the path that Leotheras eventually went down. He might be able to teach some fledgling Demon Hunters a thing or two about perseverance, if the class gets nerfed a bit during the course of Legion

we are basically the new thrall, since he became the new Moses and all. Plus come on the freaking maelstrom as our order hall.I say that's a win for shamans.

I plan on maining an unholy death knight in Legion, named Perdition(Blizzard thought it was a great DK name and used it for the debuff that you get after Purgatory activates). I’ve never mained one before, but have been playing one as an alt (almost as frequently as my druid main) since Firelands. I love the tragic lore behind death knights, constantly suffering from the wracking pain of not inflicting pain on something else at every waking moment, yet still able to be just and noble in their own unique way. This and the fact that they could break away from the will of the Lich King along with the help of Tirion at Light’s Hope Chapel show how strong they are mentally as well. Also the rune system that they use in game is one of, if not my favorite class resources in WoW. My favorite death knight NPC is Teron Gorefiend, as he was the first death knight to ever exist: an orc’s soul fused with a dead human body. He has already been killed and reanimated many times, and he could only grow stronger from each of those deaths, gaining new experience each time. He would be an absolute font of knowledge and a great trainer in the class order hall for any death knight, with tons of valuable information to pass on

I will be playing Ret Paladin. Always have and always will. Even when I was told ret "is gonna be terrible," I still played. Through thick and thin.

I Don't know which NPCs already make an appearance in the class halls, but my favorite class NPC is Lady Liadrin. She was kinda used in BC, but sought out A'Dal to seek forgiveness, along with the rest of the blood knights, and pledged loyalty to make up for the sins of the past, and that's the kind of chivalry I look up to.

I'm planning to main Windwalker Monk in legion as I have done for the past two expacs because I like sticking to a class throughout expacs and mastering it as it changes through time. There's not too many iconic monk characters that aren't already in the monk order hall from what I've seen. It would be cool to have an important figure like Emperor Shaohao watching over the place though.

Everyone is always making jokes about them and I like to root for underdogs. So I will be playing a hunter as my main. As far as NPC I'd like to see Sylvanas in the Order Hall.

Ever since I started in late BC and say that you needed a lvl 55 for a DK I grinned my way to it. And once I reached it I never looked back. The person that I like to see already exist in the DK Order Hall and that is Darion Morgaine. The way that his story developed and his lost of the light/betrayal of his father and corrupting the fate of the ashbringer was such a good story to come into

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
