Atm it is a human paladin, but i will be going horde (Tauren most likely) and will be playing retribution. I like the fact that ret bring utility to the raid with their various blessings and greater blessings. I also feel like ret is gonna be a spec that is worth investing in the long term because of the scaling that will come with haste. Sure at first, it might feel a bit slow, but once gear ilvl goes up, it could be a really awesome spec to play. I also always liked some of the potential transmog that are available to paladins.  My favorite paladin NPC is Tyrion Fordring. I was not a big raider before WotLK and thats where I first saw him (atleast, i learn about him). I also liked the intro for the Lich King fight and at the end when he smashes Frostmourne, it's awesome.

I will be maining a good ol' holy paladin in Legion, just like I am for WoD! I'm currently a big fan of the selfless healer playstyle and from what I'm seeing the legion holy pally will be similar. And even though I'm sure I'll get some hate because she is technically a blood knight and not a paladin, I choose Lady Liadrin as my favourite class npc not only because I play a bloodelf paladin, but also because she has a twisted sense of how the light should be pressed on to others.

Been playing rogue since April 2008 - and I am looking forward to the council but definitely, hail Garona! But also an updated Lord Jorach Ravenholdt will be sweet! Assassination all the way!

I'll be maining a Paladin come Legion. My favorite Paladin NPC would have to be Tirion Fordring, however that might change due to future events

My main in legion will again be my warrior, spec of which is yet to be determined. Most likely Fury.

Even though I mostly play alliance, I would love to see High Overlord Saurfang in the warrior order hall.

I've had a tough time between my deathknight and paladin (and will in all probability play both heh), but in the end I think I will end up playing my paladin.  He's been my first for the longest time with only the deathknight being my main on a couple different expansions with the two sort of trading off.  Whenever possible I've been letting lore choose which one to play mostly in regards to the Ashbringer (silly I know.but I've had the corrupt version for a loooong time and follow its lore very closely heh).  Having the actual weapon be available.well, that's a huge incentive, and I'll have my own unique mog for it with the old original corrupt version too over the others.  I've sort of made a reputation among my guild and friends as 'our Ashbringer' so I have to continue it too. As for favorite lore character- that would be the original Ashbringer, Highlord Alexandros Mograine.  Now learning we can even find his helm as a legendary item, well now I have to go grab that as well.  Alexandros' story was always one of the strongest for me- incredibly heroic and touching how much he cared for his sons, and tragic too at the betrayal he faced as well.  He's always been THE paladin in my eyes- righteous, fighting the undead against insane odds, and just being everything that symbolizes a paladin lord.  I even made my deathknight simply to follow his son and his lore as well heh

I will be maining a paladin in Legion. Specifically a retribution paladin. I'd love to see Master Pyreanor in the best class hall the Light's Hope Chapel. For those who don't know, he is the paladin trainer in Org. I always used to go to him for training, so it would be cool to see him have some lore.

In Legion I will be maining a protection paladin, since not only do I love Truthguard & Oathseeker but the new lore that is being generated along with Turalyon's return has me thrilled to play them. For an NPC I'd like to see make an appearance in the class hall would be High Exarch Commodus, but since he was removed in 2.4 I doubt we will ever see him again as an NPC but rather in a quest line we could find out that he has turned to the legion and that is why he left the Aldor or some other reason

I'm going to main my unholy death knight, which i've been playing since the wrath of the lich king release. As for the class NPC, I look forward to see what role does Darion Mograine play in legion and if it will have some relation with the ashbringer now that it's the paladin artifact

For me the main class in Legion is going to stay my lovely hunter. My favorite NPC is defiantly Hemet Nesingwary. He was named after an American novelist, short story writer, journalist, and of course great hunter and safari explorer Ernest Miller Hemingway. It's really cool when the NPC has a great true story in real world. I love the WOW achievements "Snows of Northrend" from his "Snows of Kilimanjaro" and "The Green Hills of Strangelthorn" from book "Green Hills of Africa." And I hope that Legion bring us more interesting and famous NPC.

Started playing Bear Druid during WoD and I'll continue playing him through Legion. I'd definitely like to see Malfurion Stormrage in my class hall. Cenarius would be a 2nd choice.

My favorite class is Warrior. I play this class since Mists of Pandaria. In Legion I will continue to play this character, because I love this character and class. I think best warrior in wow is garrosh, because he has cool weapons and Shoulders.

I started to really get into playing monk during WoD and I plan on playing it even more in Legion, every spec is fun for me. I'm most excited to play brewmaster in legion, the new animations with the artifact weapon look great. As for my favorite class npc, It's probably Chen Stormstout. It would be really cool if brewmasters could hold a keg like chen does in addition to the staff.

I will be maining a Shadow Priest in Legion because I have been raiding with Shadow since late BC, and I'm loving the new changes.

I have lots of favorite NPCs, but I'll pick one that actually has a chance to show up in an Order Hall (instead of someone like, say, Orgrim Doomhammer, my favorite character, who likely won't).  I'll go with Farseer Nobundo.  His story has always fascinated me.  Most Draenei wanted nothing to do with a Broken, but Velen realized the value of the path Nobundo was traveling and endorsed him.

I've still not decided my main for Legion, as several specs are looking really good. I am mostly looking at Death Knight, Demon Hunter or Warlock, because they all look super good (and also because I'm evil). As a lore nerd my favourite NPCs are Illidan and Tirion, and Highlord Mograine, all of which have interesting backgrounds and cool lore. I don't know what Illidan's role will be exactly, but it'd be cool to see him at the order hall. Tirion is probably not gonna do a lot after giving up his Ashbringer, but we'll see what the expac has for him. Mograine I think could very well appear at the order halls, and I'd be happy if he did

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
