My main for Legion gonna be Monk like on WoD and MoP, i like this class for its versatility. I started as tank then healer and for now im going to stay with the windwalker. It has pretty fun gameplay with even more nice changes in legion.

An NPC I would like to hang out in my class hall would be Blackhand, i really loved the whole Blackrock Foundry and this last fight was just so awsome. It's definetly gonna be Blackhand :P

I think I will try a Demon Hunter as well as most players, but I don't think It's a class I'll keep playing.
I will roll a Paladin. I feel that lore-wise paladins are the best choice against the Burning Legion because they were created to fight demons and undead. I also love how paladins "feel". I love being able to immerse myself in the game and paladins have a a way of making that immersion easier.

I've been a Tank for as long as I can remember playing and I have Paladin alts on many servers and they are usually the class I enjoy playing the most. They have really cool utility skills as well as sound DPS and Awesome tanking skills.

I think my favorite Paladin NPC is probably Arthas Menethil, but since he became the Lich King I'm very doubtful that he will be in my Class headquarters. I also really like the lore of High General Turalyon and I really hope that he makes an appearance in Legion. I also like the NPC's in the Scarlet Crusade like Taelan Fordring or High General Abbendis and think it would be very cool if they (or someone from the Scarlets) was in my class HQ.

I would like to try the Paladin class because they seem like the natural enemies of demons. But i believe i'm going to kill a lot of them, so i would like to cleanse a few lucky one, and let them thank me 5 min as my guardians. And for the headquarters role model i want Uther the Lighbringer's ghost :D

Good luck to everyone and let's see some class pride!

Druid, druid, druid!

I don't know if it's the being able to run around shifting forms constantly, or the ability to fill multiple roles in raid/dungeons, but it has been my favorite class for too many years to count.

Oh, who am I kidding?  It's definitely the ability to run around shifting forms.  Form over function, I say!

Hamuul Runetotem is my favorite druid, by far.

Back in the days, when I was "resurrected" by the Lich King I felt like a walking killing machine, and as time passed by, I learned new tricks and became even stronger. When the Legion arrives we will be more powerful than our Master once was, so stand up my fellow Death Knights it's time to save this world from the evil once again!

As you've probably read I'll main a DK as I've always done since the class became available in Wrath, and my favourite NPC has to be Highlord Darion Mograine, but I can't wait to have the Four Horsemen under my command :)

My main class will be Paladin as it has been since WotLK and might even consider trying it as Holy... or just play it safe and stick with what I know and continue as prot/ret. And my favourite class NPC is Uther the Lightbringer even thou I play on Horde :D

Mage. Only mage...Mage always in the top.

My favorite NPC Elrodan from Silvermoon City. He is a master of the polymorph! And he doesn't know the word "stop."

I voted for priest but tbh, I might main a druid just because of the new models. As for now, I probably will main my priest because I believe most people will try out them Demon Hunters and I'd like to avoid all the fuss with them during the first few months. Someone needs to heal in the dungeons anyway, eh? =)

What comes to the NPC I would love to see Tyrande. Even if I choose to play my horde priest. xD

I will be maining my Monk as I have played the class since it's release in MoP.  I fell in love with the Brewmaster playstyle and while the playstyle looks different in Legion, I am very excited to try it out - I try to be active as much as I can with talking about classes in general however.

My favorite class NPC would probably be Chen, I liked him a lot in WC3 and remember that campaign fondly.  It was nice to see him again in MoP.  However I also like the Paladin's Lady Liadrin, just due to the Blood Knight storyline.

Even I used to play with a Tauren Druid sinsce TBC, I met with my Blood Elf Mistweaver Monk at MoP, and I love it, since then it is my main character. And my plan is playing with it in Legion.

And my favorite NPC is always Thrall!...

I first saw a shaman when I ran Zul'farrak on my hunter, shortly after TBC was launched. It looked so cool with its water totems, ghost wolf, windfury, shield and weapon imbues, etc. So I rolled one and had the best experience leveling up and raiding since then. I feel like shamans are getting back some of their TBC shine in Legion so that's what I'm gonna play.

I'd like to see Farseer Nobundo because, in my opnion, he's been the most badass shaman in recent history: he established a coup and went against Illidan in the original timeline (after years of suffering). His presence in Warlords brought some TBC nostalgia to me, what with the elemental quests in Nagrand. He is a true spiritual leader.

Affi/Demo Warlock for sure. I've been playing this class from wotlk, my first expansion.

Warlock NPC? Definitely Archimonde.

But my non-warlock favourite is Sylvanas :O

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
