In Legion I am planning to stick with my hunter, as i have for the last 8 years. The changes seem really promising and trying melee will be very interesting.  For the vavorite NPC I am picking Rexar, love his story and hoping to seem him in some more action again soon

I will be playing a human warrior! Always have, always will. Draw that thy honest Sword of Wrynn.

I think Shandris Feathermoon should be in the class hall. Her story began with the Burning Legion and it should continue so.

My main will be my Disc Priest. I absolutely love the changes that have been made to them and am really excited to take on more of a battle healer role which has always been the class fantasy that most excites me. I also enjoy healing and damaging equally as much which makes this class even more attractive to me. I love the changes I've seen from videos and hopefully will get a chance to try it out before launch! My favorite Priest npc is Prophet Velen. I remember the Nerzhul cut scene in WOD with Velen and Yrel with Velen sacrificing himself and it was an epic cut scene that made me appreciate Velen's power, the Naaru, and the power of the priest and the light! Thanks for the giveaways Icy Veins! I've been a longtime fan.

I am going to play a druid because it is a versatile class . At first I would play the specialization restoration and as on the other extensions I would set in specialization 2 balance and in specialization 3 guard . Cenarius is the best  Good luck everyone and have fun

Although I haven't 100% decided, I'm leaning towards a Frost DK for my main going into Legion.  I've played melee and/or healed since early vanilla, but spent nearly all of WoD as a ranged DPS.  I want to get back to my melee roots, and so far I like what I see from Death Knights.  I have spent many long years, wandering aimlessly through the Barrens, searching for her body, only to come up empty handed.  After all this time playing, there are two things I want more than anything, and that's to finally find her and to finally get to participate in a WoW Beta

We have two questions for you or - if you'd like - a two-part question. We would like to know which class will be your main one in Legion or, if you are new to the game, which class you are planning on creating first. Moreover, we would like to know which is your favourite class NPC. Various famous NPCs are already present in the respective Order Hall, but which one would you like to see in your class' headquarters?

I have played as a mage as my main since early Wrath, and there is zero chance of that changing for Legion. I love my mages (I currently have 3 max level mages) and cannot see myself playing anything else.

As for the second part of this question, my favorite mage NPC no longer walks among us, but why should that stop him from visiting my class hall? I speak of Archmage Antonidas. The wisdom of Archmage Antonidas has never been needed moreso than now. With the Legion invading, I would love to see his ghost appear in the class hall to provide guidance and insight. Heck, I would even accept quippy one-liners from him so long as he's there! We've had ghosts follow us around before so there is a precedent for this sort of thing (hellooo Admiral Taylor's ghost). He was the greatest leader of the Kirin Tor and his knowledge is needed now more than ever!

I started leveling a Draenei frost mage during MoP thanks to Icy Veins (who had then a complete guide for frost mages) and even tho I tried many other classes, I will stick with this character in Legion because I absolutely love her!

I would love to see Jaina Proudmoore to represent the mages. Especially after the Theramore events, I think she got what it takes to be a great leader!

I especially enjoyed reading her story with Arthas Menethil, and Kinndy Sparkshine even tho they made me shade a tear :')

I chose to play Paladin during the Legion Extension, because I began tanking and I have liked the gameplay and the lore of this class/spe. I hope that the new gameplay of the paladin protection will be fun and efficient to play particularly for the new system of dungeons with Keystones. I have haste to test the two specializations of the new class Demon hunter and my historic class : Mage with the evolution of the fire specialization. I think that this extension will be particularly good in terms of gameplay and lore

I am planning on playing a Demon Hunter in Legion. It would be amazing to get the opportunity to test it out first.

Without a doubt it would be badass to have Illidan in the order hall.

Will be going full time monk. Why? Well, i started in MoP by my friend inviting me to the game. All the time I would hear how bad monks are and should not be played. So this is something i listened to and never even touched a monk. Then WoD came and I made my monk that later made me play alot more than before. I enjoyed it alot but I had a hard time finding others enjoying it like me. So for legion im gonna make sure monks are given a great reputation(atleast on my dead realm). Gonna show how good I can perform as one in raids and pvp etc. Hopefully inviting loads of monks to the wandering isle to enjoy the class for what it is. My favourite Npcs will have to be the Pandaren celestials that represent that class best.

I've been playing since mid vanilla at which point my main was a paladin (yeah believe it or not I actually hit 60 as a ret pal in vanilla.. seal of command ftw!). Since MoP I have however been maining a combat Rouge and I am going to continue as such throughout Legion.

There are many lore characters that I would love to see in Legion, but in the rouge class hall I would be thrilled to see more of Garona Halforcen since she is allready deeply imbedded in the lore and if I had to choose one which had been less present in the past it would have to be Van Cleef!

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
