I'll be maining my rogue as I always have been.

My favorite rogue NPC is probably Valeera Sanguinar. She's assassination spec which is my favorite, she has no true loyalty except to King Varian, and to top it all off, she's a blood elf. <3

Probably going to trial run a monk or end shaman, I've been playing casters for the last few expacs and am ready for a change. As someone who plays a mage currently, I'd like to see Millhouse Manastorm come back and interact in the mage artifact quest line. He is so quirky and entertaining, it'd be fun

I'll be playing a paladin- it was a hard choice between him and my deathknight, but I just can't ignore that Ashbringer heh.  I've had the corrupt one since BC and made myself a bit of a reputation with it among my guild and friends, so I kind of have to continue that tradition as well.  It'll be fun having my unique transmog of Ashbringer too to separate it from the other ones I think heh (and that with the new mog system even my deathknight can use my version.  He's always been the most iconic paladin character in my eyes and a very large reason why I play the class.  His story has always been one of the strongest for me in the Warcraft universe- it's just so full of iconic moments, heroism and tragedy too. I even made my deathknight to follow the lore of his son too, which is every bit as awesome as his own.  The Mograines are by far my favorites in WoW heh

Hello, My main i legion will probably be a disc priest. I've played this as my main from cataclysm and since I'm bad in dps rotations in general I always get stuck with healing which is fine by me :) Anduin Wrynn would be nice to see in the class halls, even though he will probably be chilling in the Stormwind Keep :)

The class that will be my main for Legion will be my hunter as it has been for the last couple years since I started. I identify most with its class fantasy and I love the idea of fighting along side an animal companion that is more than just a pet. The one that I would love to see in the Class Order Hall for Hunters would be Rexxar. He seems like the quintessential example of a BM Hunter and I would love to see him in the Main Universe as he hasn't done much there (Not counting the Alternate Universe one on Draenor although he is awesome as well)

I've always been playing a Priest and with all the changes to the class in Legion I'm more hyped then ever to play.

Also I hope to see Zabra Hexx in Legion since we haven't heard of him in WoW since Wrath of the Lichking.

My main character still remains holipaladin. I really like the visual representation of my class - heavy armor, two-handed weapon. I like that the class is a natural with the addition of magic. At the same time, the Legion, staying in healing spec, I can still hit very hard by my two-handed weapon, and I am very pleased. I like to point direction of the paladin healing spec. The NPC I'd like to see in the Stronghold - Maraad. He is very consistent with the canons of the paladin in Blizzard universe. But I always tortured question- why he did not use Divine Shield)

Which class will be my main in Legion: Either Demon Hunter, or Paladin.

Which NPC would i like to see in the respective class Order Hall: Illidan for Demon Hunters, Or Uthers spirit for Paladins.

Will probably be maining a demon hunter at the start. I've been playing the game for a while so of course I'm excited about trying a new class. Favorite class NPC is definitely Illidan. I'm sure a lot of other demon hunters would say the same.

Protection warrior since 2005 and I will never change. The npc I would like in my class hall would of course be the mightiest of them all (excluding titan or titan-forged), Grommash Hellscream. Resurrected and blessed by the Prime Designate, Odyn

Definitely plan on rolling Vengeance DH. Ever since WC3 TFT i've wanted to play a DH. Always rolled tanking classes in any MMO i've played as well. So to see them be able to transform into a massive demon and just wreck face is going to be amazing. Illidan is hands down the best antagonist in the whole of WoW. Can't wait to start mowing down LEGIONS of demons.

Have to go with a wildcard here and pick Gryan Stoutmantle. Was also in Stratholme when Arthas decided to purge the city. Would definitely be a cool character to see in the Class Order Hall

There can be only one.

Death Knight  for the win.

As to NPC it has to be the Lich King. Any true wow player has to have at least once if not many times dreamed about wielding Frostmourne.

Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit.

I will stick to my warrior like in the past 10 years.

My favourite warrior NPC is definitely Mr. Cleave himself Varok Saurfang. I really hope we get a campaign questline with him cleaving through demon hordes

I'll be maining a Warrior DPS no doubt in Legion, from alpha footage I kinda made the transition on live to a warrior dps main and cleared hfc mythic on it. The one NPC i'd like to see is the spirit (or since it is the halls of valour a resurrected) of King Ymiron! My favourite dungeon boss ever, and a massive figure in the norse-inspired lore of the vrykul - would be cool seeing him not far from Odyn himself!

I am excited for the changes to the class. The NPC I'd love to see in our order hall would be Teron Gorefiend. At one point in time Teron actually fought for the Horde as he was also in Illidan's Army. It would be awesome to see him there

I am thinking of maining either a shaman or a rogue in legion, I want to get into the beta though to be able to get a hands-on feel for both of the classes to make my final decision. Illidan is by far my favorite character which is awesome that he is coming back in this xpac.

I have always been a priest main since Burning Crusade. Disc priest looks so fun and needs a lot of skill to play. Gotta use those micro skills i learned from starcraft. The concept of a shadow hunter is sick and he didnt have his time to shine unlike other race leaders

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
