I'll be playing a fire mage.Fire mage has been nerfed over the years in Wow. Though, it was LA class for dps at BC (remember instant pyro mage through arcane/fire spec), at wotlk fire mage had a good dps too with fire orb etc but then fire orb disapeared. and the damage cycle turned over the combustion talent/refresh dots to get the maximum ignite etc.Fire class spec  became so boring. At the end of MoP and beginning of WoD, mages became less played and though it has been my main character since 2008, I didn't enjoyed to play it anymore. Ice is boring so Arcane is, though with WoD there have been so many good changes.  I am so looking foward playing fire mage again. New talents are so attractive. At last, phenix is given to mages. I was so excited to get it as in WC3 Kael Thas has. Fire mages are about to roxx .

Considering how much identity and lore they have behind them (and the amount of added badass-ery they are getitng in Legion), I couldn't possibly justify playing anything else.  My hope for a NPC in the class hall would be Teron Gorefiend, one of the OG Death Knights in Warcraft. His spirit is still waiting for a suitable host, so not only would it be awesome, but would also be possible

I plan on maining Demon Hunter, specifically to tank some mythic dungeons with a small group of friends that have been around since vanilla. Every expansion we tend to switch around roles so nobody is always stuck doing the same job (unless they really like it, like our healer, has been a masochist the whole time). As for the NPC, I would love to see in the class hall, that would be Vish Kozus. No real information is out there on him, even if he actually is a demon hunter but some context clues point to him being/having been one. If he was in fact a Demon Hunter, he was one of the first we ever actually encountered in the game.

I will be maining my windwalker monk (previously secondary character), allways liked the appeal of the spec both in solo and group content with strong cleaving and mobility/survivability.  On the npc side i would love to see lorewalker cho, but it would also be nice to have represented different npc races as monks in the order hall, since monk lore was allways pandaren heavy

I'll main warrior because it's only class that stays badass every expansion! I'd love to see Taran Zhu in legion class Hall but since he's a monk it's not going to work, second option is Garrosh (wow's Trump ftw xD)

My Priest is the character I'll be playing when Legion is release. My favourite class Npc is Beryl who is priest trainer in Brill, can't wait to see him in my order halls.

I'm a reptile breeder and I think camouflage in animals are so fascinating, and druids are capable of doing that. My favorite druid NPC is Zen'tabra because she played a huge role in taking back the Echo Isles

My main class is going to be Demon Hunter. I just love the look and feel of the class and I'm very excited to get to play it. Illidan Stormrage has been my favorite NPC and my all time favorite boss fight.

I've played a fire mage since Vanilla, and I'll be maining him once again in Legion.  Super excited about the new animations too, especially the combustion one.  As for order hall NPCs, I'd say Krasus/Korialstrasz if he were to somehow come back to life (R.  Actually now that I think about it, most of the mage NPCs I would choose are also dead in the lore

Mage is usually my main, but I'll go with Demon Hunter here, because it's a class I've been waiting for too long. The story of Illidan is one of my favorites next to that of Arthas, and I'm so excited to be part of his power, of his army. Illidari!!!

Back in 2006 I was annoyed because I felt everyone played paladins wrong in PvP - they were just running with seal of command and trying to dps instead of healing, which I felt were their best role. Suddenly a paladin in the most advanced guild on my server popped in my battleground, wearing allmost full Redemption armor (Tier 3) which was the first proper healing set for paladins and I was just in awe how great he did, being immortal and assisting his team. I couldn't wait to do the same thing. TBC released, rolled a blood elf paladin with my guild and never looked back until MoP, where I felt the gameplay became too uninteresting. Now with Legion, it looks like they're going back towards a role I can more identify with; the bulwark healer. Uther Lightbringer is my favourite paladin NPC

Illidan has always been a favorite character of mine and being able to read about the creation of the demon hunters is making this all the better.   I'm not sure what NPCs will be in the Class Hall but I'm really hoping to see some of the characters from the book make appearances as well as seeing Illidan walking around, or at least honored in some way.   Demon Hunters have piqued my interest so much I'm actually thinking about coming back to the game after swearing it off a while back

Warlock for sure, Demonology looks really fun!

There are loads of sweet NPCs, but let's say Millhouse Manastorm. Hope he makes another appearance in Legion!

Uncommon Patron

My main is a warlock, and he'll probably stay my main for the expansion.

As far as warlock NPCs, I wouldn't mind seeing Jubeka Shadowbreaker show up in our halls, perhaps with an actual lore explanation as to why we can no longer transform via Metamorphosis. :)

Been playing a death knight since WotLK. Every expansion I say I'm going to pick another class to main in the next expansion. After playing my DK for soooooo long, I find it hard to break away from him xD. The NPC I want to see in my order hall would be SPOILER -  Spoiler Tirion Fordring - Since he is most probably dead, it would be awesome if the deathknights bring him back. Fingers crossed for that key.

After watching most of the streams the past 6 hours, I’m 100% sure I’m going to play an elemental shaman. The shaman fantasy and the way the class plays has always appealed to me but I was always hesitant to try it out.  When it comes to picking out an NPC that is a Shaman, I have to admit I really do enjoy Naraat the Earthspeaker. He got the Alliance started into Deepholm with his spells back in Cataclysm and has stoically been guarding the portals ever since. I would like to see his role expanded in the class order hall in the Malestrom

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
