I plan on rolling a demon hunter in Legion. I recently rolled a rogue looking for a similar experience, however my demon hunter desires are unfulfilled. My favorite NPC is probably Illidan as he is awesome, and inspired me to play WoW in the first place

I have always loved the lore behind Demon Hunters, and have been looking forward to the day that Blizzard would announce that they will be a playable class, imagine my face when they announced Legion and DH as a playable class, full of joy  As far as favorite character in WoW, i have 2 really.First of them would be Broll Bearmantle, I loved his character in the comics, and in the books, and I think he deserves some more ingame love, but since I will be playing a DH mainly i wont really see that much of him, or at all really, i have no idea if he is in the Druid class order hall or not since i dont have Beta yet  Second of them is Rhonin, i LOVED his character in the books and was crushed when he died in Tides of War, a noble sacrifice indeed, I just hope that his 2 sons will grow up and be just like him

I always loved the new classes discovery excitment. I still remember the first time I've tryed the monk class. All the tracking, button smashing was brutally funny to learn. Also got the opportunity to contribute to IV class guides with my strings to track stagger when MoP was released. Go Go Legion

Druids are a hybrid class and provide much more variety because of the 4 completely different specializations. Also the druid order hall is stunning. It is so druidlike with all the wildlife, trees, flowers. It's just very peaceful in my opinion. What I also like about the druids are the artifact forms for feral and guardian, they look absolutely fantastic. In general the druid is going to be amazing in Legion, I'm sure of it. Thanks for the chance of winning a Beta key.

I'd love to main a survival hunter in this expansion, I just love the fantasy of it. Trapping enemies all the while having your trusty pet. Favourite Hunter has to be Rexxar, Champion of the Horde.

Excited to see how Arms Warrior is going to play  in this expansion in the hopes that it's even a bit better than it is in WoD.

Would love to see Varian appears in the order hall, I've always been disappointed that hes had very little involvement in game and most of the action he takes part in is in books/comics.

My main class that i currently play is a Combat rogue in retail. But if i get lucky enough to receive a key i plan on making my first character in legion a Demon Hunter and maybe even make him my new main. I have been playing since TBC so i'm not a new player, but this expansion made me so excited and amazed by the raid boss Illidan Stormrage which is also my favorite Demon Hunter class npc. And now in Legion we can actually become an Illidan like character, It's just too amazing for me not to try out

I Will be Maining a Rogue by the simple fact that i heard as rumors that there will be a mechanic for rogues to pickpocket other rogues which i seem as a very fun mechanic but at the same time a lil bit devious, I'd also like to see Trade prince gallywix inside my class hall by the simple fact that he has not made much of a appearence through WoW

Voted for Demon Hunter I am looking forward to try some new content, which points me to choose already very well known classes for me, like Death Knight and Druid, in order to level up faster and explore more content for short period of time. Death Knights are my favourite, and I take Driuds as fast level ups.but damn, i want to try some new ways for.killing mobs (and ppl, meh i might be joking ). So yeah, i'll definitely start with the new class, Demon Hunter shell it be. And than I'll be to lazy to level up smth else, and probably stick to the Demon Hunter as main

I think I will be maining DH in the expansion. Illidan is cool and all, but (no spoilers) I really enjoy the dynamic between the two potential second in command candidates. Of course I don't have Beta to test the gameplay to see if I actually like it. (No spoilers) The class has a very interesting project that they are working on, with some interesting names popping up potentially making a lot of great new lore.

Resto Druid since Vanilla. As Rchard Marx says it best. As far as my favorites NPC, I do hope we see Bud make a comeback in Legion.

I'll be maining a rogue for some time, mainly because Outlaw looks amazing!

I've seen some of the order hall folks for rogues already, they all seem like great choices!

I'm gonna play a resto Druid for legion cause it's gameplay seems to fit greatly the druid lore.I'd like to see N'Zoth in the first raid and to learn more about it.Well, for the friendly NPC i like i think it would be Sylvanas. I can't wait to see how she will be developped in Legion

My main has always been a Paladin so that's what I voted. I play so many classes its crazy, and there are so many specs I want to try out when I get to play Legion but Paladin will have to be my first priority.Honestly it has nothing to do with Ashbringer being our Artifact weapon (for retri) but because Paladins are the champions of the Light, and with legion we'll have to face the darkest and most threatening force Azeroth has ever seen. Starting with a character of justice and retribution fits that theme pretty well.  I'm very excited, but also anxious, to test out the new Retribution abilities and see for myself how different the spec is compared to the current one on live. I really hope I get to see Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker in the Paladin Order Hall.In Vanilla, Burning Crusade and Wrath he was always the guy I went to see when I could learn new abilities. I don't play on an RP server or anything but I've always felt that he was the Paladin that mentored my character. I would love to be able to interact with him again And the Order Hall looks so cool as well. Can't wait to spend time with my fellow Lightbringers there. I hope I'll get to see some of you in-game

Demon Hunter, been waiting for this class to become a player class since they were introduced in BC.

Current NPC's, I have to say Varian is my favorite, while too hot headed at times he is smart enough to surround himself with wise people, and actually listen to them at times.

Would love to see Illidan in the class hall, because.. common.. you really wonder why ? ;)

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
