My favourite class is Priest, mainly because it was my one of the first classes I started, but the first with the healing role. I always adored being the support in any game and Priest fit that role well. My favourite NPC, who is also a priest is probably Anduin Wrynn

I watched some alpha videos of protection paladin and as a healer main i fell in love with it, I will be maining a protection paladin and i would really love to see Yrel in paladin class halls, why? because she is a new, fresh character, i really loved the cinematics and her story in draenor, you save her from a cave and she GREW so much. She is a person that Velen trusted with the Alliance and Draenors safety and she has done a mignificent job at the role she has been given.
Thats why i would like a prot pala with Yrel as a 'teacher'.
For the Alliance!

I'll play Guardian Druid in Legion, I'm totally in love with this class. It's my main since WotLK. I'd like to see Tholo Whitehoof in my order hall.)

They are so versatile and fun to play. I have been playing a druid since BC and still I am drawn to the class more than the others (I also have war, dk, shammy, spriest, lock, paly, and hunter). Besides being able to fill all roles for dungeons/raids, who can deny the attraction of being able to shift at will to bear/cat/owl?? I would love to see Gart Mistrunner  for the class NPC. Gart is the first Tauren Druid trainer you encounter, and I feel it would be totally appropriate to have him in the class hall. He is after all the one who helps us Tauren Druids on our way to greatness.

I plan to try out the new Demon Hunter class in legion and play the vengeance spec, since I enjoy to main a tank class / spec. I enjoy what I see for the class so far, so I am confident that I will enjoy the way the spec plays out. NPC wise, I've always enjoyed the Demon Huntress, Alandien from Shadowmoon Valley ( BC ). It'd be neat to see if she somehow turns up in the new expansion either in reference, or otherwise

My main choice for legion will be a Blood Deakth Knight. I've been playing a warrior as main since TBC, but during WOD I had to swap to Death Knight to help my guild progress during mythic HFC. I enjoyed playing Death Knight and decided to play it as main for future. I've been checking the changes Blizzard maket to the specc, and they seem promissing. One of the things I like most is the Death Strike change, which will give me clear and better option to spent runic power.

The overhaul to the hunter's survival spec made me excited to make it my main in Legion. Hopefully it doesn't feel to clunky (fingers crossed).

In legion i will be maining as my Enhancement Dwarf Shaman. I can't wait to become one of the great heroes who have wielded Doomhammer. The main class NPC i look forward to seeing in my Class order hall is Neptulon. We've seen him in Vashj'ir and we really didn't get anymore backstory out of him. Also it's the fact we are working with one of the Primal Elements here

My main class will be a Night elf Vengeance Demon Hunter. I usually start a expansion with a specific class and usually end with another but playing this in alpha really made me think my approach. Illidan has always been my favorite. I may roll a BE havoc demon hunter.

I most likely am going to be playing demonology warlock in legion.  The idea of spamming waves of minions into enemies sounds fun.  One of the coolest class npcs though I think has gotta be Chen Stormstout, bad ass monk doing everything he can to maintain the peace and his family owns a brewery, cant beat that.

As for favorite Death Knight is probobly Alexandros Morgraine. There is some alure in the great champion for the light and living turning an almost unstopable weapon of death. It would be fun to se like his spirit in the classhall but on the other hand his spirit is probobly gonna be a spirit of a paladin which is sad

Started maining one proper toward the end of TBC up until just after they added the abomination that was holy power (because yeah.when I selected paladin, what i really meant was a rogue, right?).now that that has been gotten rid of (and also, the class being back to a frontline healer in the thick of it) I can go back to it

I would like to see Illidan Stormrage as leader of my class hall bechouse its just not the way of WoW that you are the supreme badass guy.  expample, Thrall handing down Doomhammer to other shaman? That makes him THE shaman doesnt it?

I'm going to be playing a druid. I'm going to be playing a druid because I find boomkins to be very interesting so far in the legion beta and I would love to see how they come out.

Honestly? Demon Hunter. I just really love the designs and I'm a huge sucker for dual wielding bad-asses. Favorite NPC? Illidan, duh! Reading the new book that came out just makes me even more in love with him!

I'll be maining a Demon Hunter.Ever since I was a young boy I have dreamed of being infused with fel energy and sprouting wings from my back. Growing up, many of my school friends knew this was my dream and fully accepted me for it. They were so acceptive of me that we would tease eachother on the playground. Sometimes they'd say "Wtf get away from me kid" or if they were feeling EXTRA spicy, they'd say "My parents told me not to talk to you" (Such jokesters. At the age of 10 in 2004, World of Warcraft entered my life. Upon looking at the character creation screen, I was extremely disappointed due to the fact that there was no class to fulfill my lifelong dream. After much contemplation, I settled with a Night Elf hunter. There were many 12 hour days where I would command my pet bat Winkles(RIP) to stand behind me as I angled my camera in such a way that it looked like the wings were sprouting out of me. A sense of euphoria overwhelmed my body ever time I did this.Upon hearing about the Burning Crusade expansion and seeing the box art, my life and World of Warcraft career changed forever. I KNEW I needed to be Illidan when I grew up. For all of BC I played with a folded bandana covering my eyes and curled tin foil horns strapped to my head. I used an entire weeks worth of lunch money to buy green light bulbs for my room so I could feel like I was one with the Fel energy.1 launched I was ecstatic, this was the time where I would finally meet my lord and savior. My guild cruised through the Black Temple to reach Illidan just for me. I was so excited to fight along side Illidan Stormrage. When Akama asked if we were ready to face Illidan, I froze up. I couldn't do it. I REFUSED to do it. As the GM of my guild, I knew I had to do something. I either pleased all of my guildmates with slaying my Lord, my Yahweh, my Prophet for purple pixels. Or I stayed true to what I believed in and sided with Illidan and joined his forces against the Legion. It was a hard choice my I chose the ladder. I kicked every person from my guild and watched as they all got ported out of the Black Temple. I savored the moment of just watching Illidan staring into Guldan's skull for hours on end. Every day for the week, I logged in to Warcraft and walked through all of the Black Temple and just stood next to Illidan for the entire day. I knew one day I would be able to fight along side him.We are in an era where I can make this dream a reality, I can finally BE a demon hunter and fight WITH Illidan against the scum of the Legion. Getting this beta key means the world to me. I will hone my Demon Hunter skills like no one has before. I WILL be the greatest Demon Hunter to ever grace Azeroth, I will be Illidan's Right-Hand man.

I've been playing them since the end of Burning Crusade and I just love the feel of them. Having all the elements in my power and being able to wield the Doomhammer is a dream come true. I started falling in love with shamans because of Thrall back in Warcraft III and honestly, they stuck with me ever since. I don't know why I fell in love with them but, having the power of lightning, fire, ice, and everything else is just a really bad ass feeling. My favorite NPC catered to my class is obviously Thrall, he is really awesome. He has so much lore and everything around him that he is overall just a really awesome character and a really big lore figure. I've followed him through Warcraft 3 and all those events and look forward to following him into Legion

The changes to the Paladin class have me a little nervous, to be sure, but change and the Light are the only constants.Besides, I love my main man Darillon and I can't wait to see what sort of crusade he'll go on next. Blizzard doubling down on story content has me very jazzed, and the aesthetics of Legion look great. We're going to kick these demons' sorry butts back to the nether, and also they will have to pay our rent

been playing since vanila, and ive passed several classes, and druid and mage being my favorite. On draenor i played my mage, and i think i will stay with it for legion. Also i loved what they did with the hall of the guardian. And i will stay with my frost spec, so i can wield Alodi's staff ebonchill. He is the NPC i expect to encounter on the hall of the guardian, even on astral or ghostly form, since he was the first guardian, it will rock having him council and tutor me, while i progress on legion. You can say yeah, even being an obscure character, for the lore that i love it on this fantasy world, he would be one of my favorites

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
