My main in Legion is definitely going to be the warlock. I started this game as a warlock, and have steadily remained loyal to the class in terms of a main, despite leveling and raiding with multiple alts to supplement my gaming career as a whole. The warlock in particular, being one of the main classes getting overhauled, really antagonizes me to not have beta cause I don't want to go into Legion blind. Class NPC wise, I've always been a fan of Gul'dan. His true power and the lengths that it goes are more so of a secret to us and have not been shown to us, but perhaps Legion will be the expansion to do this. There's so much knowledge he possesses about Demonic spellcraft that could take any amateur warlock into a being of fearsome strengths

My main in Legion will be a frost Dk.  I've loved frost since WotLK and I won't stop now.  As for an NPC, it has to be Darion Mograine.  Wouldn't be fighting the fight as a DK with out him!

I will definitely stick to my warlock in Legion too, been playing it since vanilla! My favourite NPC has to be Kranosh the warlock trainer, id love to have him in the class hall.

Maining a hunter for so many years I've decided to start a new adventure in Legion by rolling a Protection Paladin. I'm excited not only to preform the tanking role but to view content from a Melee perspective for the first time

My main in Legion will be my mage of course. She was my first toon and even though I have several other level capped toons, I keep going back to her because she is so fun to play. I'm sure my mage could learn a thing or two from him.

Never even thought of anything else, been playing one since vanilla. As far as my favourite warlock NPC, I'd have to say Ritssyn Flamescowl, who is already in the class hall. Who didn't get Ritssyn's Wand of Bad Mojo for raiding in the old days? Admittedly he didn't have a story until MOP but I enjoy the whole idea of him as a destruction warlock permanently burned by Ragnaros, and the game has been seriously lacking in allied warlock characters since ever.

Easiest decision of my life. For me, this class provides the most enjoyable gameplay and creativity, although we have been revamped many times through the history of World of Warcraft and not the top choice of the majority of players. Favourite NPC? However I am on the side of the Alliance, my call is Thrall, Son of Durotan.

I plan on playing druid as my main. I am leaning toward resto as I have not played a healer for any expac.

The NPC I would like to see most has been confirmed to be in the class order hall, Malfurion. I have seen enough to know he could get corrupted by Xavius, and I hope this does not happen.

I know it's going to be really popular, but I can't wait for the Demon Hunter. Mechanically, the class looks solid and fun but I love their lore in particular. Can't wait to see what they do with Illidan

I'll most likely keep maining a Warlock, been my main since I started playing. Though I may ditch destruction and go for demo.gameplay looks a bit more fun than destro so far.As for the NPC, I'd love to see Gul'dan caged up somewhere for all the locks to see (of course with no way of him escaping, unless we want more bad destruction).  Wishful thinking though, I'm sure

I am going to be playing a Demon Hunter. I have been wishing for this class since TBC came out, and I remember getting myself killed several times during TBC flying over the black temple to see the demon hunters training on the roof. While I'm really excited for the mobility and other cool new features the class offers, I'm really excited for the class fantasy. I'm the type that gets really attached to my characters, and everything about the demon hunter, from the class lore to the animations of the abilities really speaks to me.

If I could have any character in my order hall, it would be Needle, from the Illidan novel. While I don't think he is even going to be in the game, he was a really neat character in the book. He was totally off the deep end, and was super entertaining even though he couldn't even talk.

Now that more details are out about specs changing automatically though, and all gear changing I am currently planning on being a Druid so that I can fulfill all roles as my mood changes.

I play mage since i've played on wow and every game. Each specs are very specific, especially in Legion, you can burn your ennemies, slow down and freeze them or play with the time with Arcane. All spells effects are awesome for my eyes. My favorite character is Tyrande Murmevent and Sylvanas. Both are very different but so classy.

I plan on playing a Warlock in Legion because I'm excited for Demonology to be pet based. I'd like to see Aeda Brightdawn in my class hall, she followed me around tanking stuff during Warlords so she deserves a break and some recognition

I always liked the class fantasy, and the gameplay is also fantastic. My favorite mage is, so far, Khadgar. A true master of the arcane arts, every time he did incredible things in the WoD questind, and he is also a very fun and friendly character

I will be playing my hunter Ameonna as my main in Legion just as I have played her as my main since I 1st started playing WoW back in WotLK. I wish there was a transmog in game that was spot on with hers so I could mog my hunter like her <3

Very likely to main warlock in legion and the new changes both excite and scare me due to the complete mix up on all specs rotations, something new to learn and something to have to nail before raiding. The only NPC that I would like to see in the class order hall is Kanrethad Ebonlocke for a couple of reasons; He summons pit lords and doom lords.who wouldn't LOVE to have their own personal pit lord, he will be one of the only remaining warlocks to have the demonology metamorphosis when legion hits, a member of the black harvest so it would be good for a redemption story to work with the warriors of Azeroth to tame the legion, He gave us the ability to have our spells and forms in green great for transmog applications.

I'll play Death Knight in legion, because It's by far my favorite class ever. I'd like to see Uther the lightbringer in my order halls  The dream

My main in Legion will be elemental shaman! I can't wait to become a lava burst cannon of doom!

A famous NPC I'd like to see in my class order hall would definitely be Ner'zhul! Maybe he could use his spooky lich powers to help take down the legion.

Hello there,

If I would get the chance to try out the Legion Beta, I would choose a warlock. I've played WoW since 2007, have switched between mains in WotLK and Cata but the Warlock.. it just stuck with me since I tried it. I'm one of those people, who alt .. a lot .. awefully much. But till MoP came, I never tried Warlock. But then I did.. and damn did I fall in love (coming from a Priest).

Can't wait for leveling the reworked speccs to 110 and give some feedback about the changes and bugs that bug me. Heh.

My favorite NPC of the Class is definitley Grand Warlock Wildfred Fizzlebang. I started raiding in WotLK so he and the whole encounter always stayed with me. How could you forget that sillyness anyway? He's a gnome though, which makes it even funnier. :>

Good luck to everyone.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
