As a player since vanilla I'm really looking forward to playing what appears to be a completely new and exciting class with some awesome mechanics. The Demon class will add a lot of excitement to an already exciting new release. I can't wait!

my main will be a demon hunter, because I have always loved the lore behind them, and have wanted to know more about them.  I would obviously love to see Illadin interact with the demon hunters as he is kind of the main character in legion or he is at least on the cover.

Years ago I was put to make a difficult choice - what class should I play. I bounced around until I took a night elf druid for a spin. I loved the thing! Ever since then on any realm I play, I always have a max level druid with full or at least decent gear. A class for lovers of mobility, choice of fighting style (stealthy or not), versatility and beauty.

As for the druid NPC that I would love to see in my halls - Malfurion Stormrage. I have admired him for quite a while and he has become an inseparable part of my druid being. I am 100% sure he will be there and I will enjoy my time in his presence!

Still not 100% sure which spec I want to start with between Arms or Fury.  I am really excited about their new animations, the Warrior Class Hall, and the improvements made thus far to the class.  Warrior has been my "Main" since 2005

The class Im most excited to main in Legion is definitely the Guardian Druid just based of what Ive seen on the Beta so far.  Love the new models for all the forms.  My fav NPC however is Wrathion.  Loved his character in MoP and would love to see more of him in the upcoming expansion.

Muradin Bronzebeard in the Warrior hall. Not only is he a bad ass warrior, but listening to him gush on being in a hall dedicated to guardians of the titans would be fantastic.

So I have played a hunter since Vanilla, I was the raid leader for one of the top three guilds on my server (which isn't saying much considering my server was a medium pop) But we downed Rag and rejoiced in it! But ever since Vanilla, everyone has called the Hunter class the "Huntard" class, which I completely understand given that I have seen so many fail players roll hunters simply because they are the "easy" class. So I have decided after many long years of playing my hunter, that I will be switching to Demon Hunter, and just praying that it doesn't become "Huntard 2.0"... I love Illidan and his back story, I played a lot of warcraft 3 to REALLY enjoy the lore of him, so I would have to choose him. Seeing him at the end of the Black Temple was memorizing! I was So not prepared. I have been dieing to get into the Beta so I can try out the Demon Hunter and learn everything I can for launch! So got my Fingers Crossed!

My main class in Legion is going to be a ret paladin, since I'm glad to see the class design get a bit more interesting than it was in Warlords. The one NPC I'd like to see make an appearance in our class order hall is probably Vindicator Maraad's spirit within a Vigilant. Having Maraad return to fight the Legion even in death would be a really cool angle, and the Vigilants are sweet

I will definitely play a Demon Hunter as a main in Legion. I've always enjoyed playing melee class, and DH's gameplay seems very involvling. I have a feeling it will be an easy-to-play, hard-to-master type of class, and that's exactly what I am looking for. I have been away from the game for a while, but Demon Hunters themselves will get me back on WoW. Can't wait to actually play one of them . As for which NPC I would like to see in my Class Hall, I have no other choice than to go with Illidan. Even though we have beaten him in Burning Crusade, I have a feeling he will turn out to be good and try to destroy what actually cursed him at first. I am entirely sure he's always been a good guy, deep inside him

My first main was a mage, and have a few other characters I might test out here and there, but I love the aesthetic, utility and variation that druids have. While I love WoW I'm actually not a huge fan of the NPC's, they're mostly forgettable. However, Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh from the good old mage wand quest in vanilla always sticks to my mind for some reason.

I'm going to play as a Protection Warrior, as I do now and always have. The news and hints about how it's going to look in Legion are just so amazing.I'm ready to protect my friends in Legion, and my website and YT channel will be full of content this year

I will continue playing Holy Paladin in Legion (and beyond!, paladin since TBC). I find the new holy paladin game-play really engaging and not just spam FoLs without going OOM thing. It would be great to try it and give some feedback. Two NPCs I would really like to see in the Paladin Order Halls would be Uther the Lightbringer and Tirion Fordring (as they are dead, it would be nice if their ghosts would just pop up sometime to look after the fellow paladins and provide with a small buff) as they are the true and one of the primary paladins of the Knights of the Silver Hand!

My main class in Legion will be the Druid. I think it's one of the by far the best class. I like it since I love space, so the balance Druid is amazing, and I love healing and nature so there's also the restoration spec. One NPC that I'd love to see in the class order hall is Cenarius, he's a Demigod of nature lol, and he taught the Druids so I'd love to see him and maybe get a lesson with him;)

Restoration Shaman just like I've been for the last 4 x-packs. I may be Alliance but as far as Shaman's go I would like to see Thrall preside over Shaman Order Hall. I mean he's the "World Shaman" for crying out loud.

I will likely main hunter in Legion, no i mean the normal hunter, not the demon one. I have been hoping they will bring hunter melee spells back since the start of MoP so I have been really hyped for survival, and would love to play the beta to try it out

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
