I will be playing a Vengeance Demon Hunter. Tanking is my bread and butter and have been maining only tank classes since TBC. Vengeance Demon Hunters are new and look very fun and useful for having in a raid. For my npc i choose Maiev Shadowsong the jailor of Illidan ( if she isn't a true demon hunter then i don't know what is )

I'm going to roll Shaman yet again.I played it since Vanilla and swapped to Alliance when shaman crossed aswell in TBC.Ever since then the shaman lost utility and uniqueness and i felt it was Karma for leaving the horde. But now it finally seems that theres some love for the Reincarnating folks of Shamanism.Favorite NPC, well i choose to see this as a question of most favored Shaman. the obvious answer would be thrall. but he's all Aspect and booring now. so it must be Ner'Zuhl. he made the lich king.and it means i can spam team speak against my guild sounding like a Zealot from WC3. "My life for Ner'Zuhl."best of luck to every shaman out there./Para

My main will most likely be guardian druid. Perhaps restoration if I am able to swap around but guardian since I have enjoyed the specialisation of the druid. I originally started as a feral druid for my first character, and swapped around to different classes. Eventually winding back to a restoration druid and then guardian when someone suggested that I try tanking. In the end though, I always pick a druid when I am bored and make a new character for fun. Hunter is also a close second for a main but this past tier I have been main guardian and I would love to try out the new changes for it.

Of course I will try out the new class, Demon Hunter, just for fun. However, I doubt I will choose it as a main over a druid. My bias for nostalgia I suppose.

As for the class order hall, I believe either Malfurion Stormrage or a keeper of some sort that is a dryad daughter or son of Cenarius will be in the Order Hall. I am not sure which NPC I would like to see in the Order Hall though, perhaps someone memorable that would represent each specialisation? It would be interesting to see randomly Ursoc around or something of that sort. I realize that he will not be there because of....he is elsewhere. Anyway, those are my thoughts. I cannot wait to see the next expansion.

I've played a hunter since beta but I'm going to be playing a Demon Hunter in Legion. Illidan was my favorite character back in WC3 and I've been waiting a long time for the injustice done to him to be undone. As for the NPC present in the Order Hall, I think it would be really cool if the spirit of Illidan (which is trapped in the Twisting Nether) was someone that the player worked with throughout the demon hunter class campaign. It would be amazing if the class campaign revolved around working with Illidan's spirit in order to learn more about the origins of the class and ultimately help Illidan's spirit return to his body

I will probably pick up where I left off with my death knight. As for my favorite class NPC, I think it would be Koltira - interesting story and quests throughout the game.

In Legion, I plan on maining my death knight. Since Wrath, I have always loved the class identity and eagerly looking forward to the changes coming. I am undecided what spec I want to play, either Blood or Unholy. I've enjoyed aspects of both specs: the survivability of Blood in solo content; and theme of unholy, plus, Apocalypse's ability is the most interesting. Also, I am psyched for the class order hall campaign. While Acherus may not be as awe-inspiring as Skyhold, the home of Knights of the Ebon Blade will always be my  favorite sanctuary in-game.

Being a DK, my favorite characters that will be in Legion are Darion Mograine and a certain character that was at the Wrathgate. My favorite moments in the game were from the Light of the Dawn Quest for dks, the Wrathgate campaign, and ICC, so I'm looking forward to seeing these characters again.

I will be playing a Hunter in Legion. I never touched WoW before late Highmaul and by HFC I was on a US top 250 guild for PvE. I like hunter because you are responsible for a lot of mechanics that nobody else can do efficiently.  I would love to see Rexxar in the order halls, that guy is a beast!

In Legion I will main a hunter because it is my favorite class and also my first class when i started playing WoW.The idea of having a pet and setting traps was something really interesting for me as a new player back then

I love how the class takes inspirations from several classes yet is able to still remain unique.Of course as A Demon Hunter my favorite NPC is Illidan. He's one of the most iconic characters in Warcraft Lore, and I'm proud to be part of his redemption story.

Main class is gonna be Warrior. Decided I want a change from the caster DPS classes I've been alternating between. Favourite class NPC is Khadgar though. I find it hilarious how he just whips out whatever spell perfectly fits the situation at hand.

I'm leaning towards demon hunter but can't say for sure until I've given them a real go. As for my favorite NPC I'd have to say Nova Terra, the one in Netherstorm. I always thought it was cool that Blizz put a little memorial to SC:Ghost in WoW. Really wish that game had made it out

I will definitely choose Feral Druid in Legion as my new class, since I can't waite to see the new appearance of Feral Druid. The one NPC I'd like to see make an appearance in our class order hall is probably Archdruid Fandral Staghelm.I want to see him again but as our companion this time, and maybe we could get new form with Archdruid Fandral Staghelm's help. It's gonna be really cooooooool!

I cannot wait to play a Warlock in Legion! As a class who can bind and control the forces of Fel energy and command demons, this expansion was MADE for Warlocks!

When it comes to a NPC, I think my favorite Warlock NPC is Drusilla La Salle the Warlock Trainer in the Human starter zone. She was kind of who started me on my path to be a Warlock and she guided me as I first began my character.

I would be honored to have her in my Class Hall. :)

Well I would most likely play druid, no matter what I do I end up with my druid. The spec most likely is going to be restoration, but I would like to try guardian too, the look of those rocky bears is <3. My favorite npc will be krasus and rhonin, because of their lore. While I was reading the trilogy those two was one of the best characters. The only one I like better than them is Broxigar, but he is not an npc so I can put him as my choice

I can't wait for all the changes legion will bring to PvP. It'll be exciting to see a balance between PvE and PvP with the separate talent trees. Finally Blizzard won't be Juggling the two. - My Favourite priest NPC would have to be Prophet Velen, I even have his staff in my transmogrification collection haha

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
