I'm going to play a pandaren monk, but don't know which spec yet, brewmaster or windwalker. My favourite monk NPC is, of course, Chen Stormstout. I always liked pandarens and loved Mists of Pandaria, my main was a monk that expansion, I changed for WoD because my guild had lots of melee dps, but now I want to play monk again, tank or dps, and beta would help me to choose the main spec

I've played since Burning Crusade as a Resto Druid and always struggled with the leveling process as a healer.  Excited that Legion will fix this for me.   Malfurion Stormrage is my obvious favorite NPC.  The first night elf druid is always going to be the best night elf druid, then me

My first ever character was a rouge. Started playing back in WotLK with a friend and liked the class ever since. Would love to test out the new "Outlaw" spec

I've always only mained my hunter for every expansion and nothing will change that now. :3 I would love for Hemet Nesingwary to make an appearance in the order hall or even as a quest giver in Highmountain. I'm sure there's some big beasty for him to hunt

My main in Legion is going to be Warrior!

I'm hoping I will like all the new changes the class has seen, and that some issues from the past/present have been addressed!

Class Hall NPC for warriors? Anduin Lothar!

My new main is gonna be Elemental Shaman. I am changing the pace after all these years as melle raiding and will be staying at range this time. :)

I really enjoyed Drek'Thar story in Warlords, and I'd like to see him in the Class Halls too.

As of right now it looks like a shadow priest is gonna be my new main for legion, they look really fun to play and the old god theme they're getting in legion looks really cool, both the visual effects and that the artifact speaks to you when you do certain activities. My favorite character would have to be Thrall (Green Jesus). I just find him bad ass with a good story tied to the character

We've been through a lot together.  I will continue to play SV hunter in Legion.  Sylvanas is definitely one of my favorite hunter class NPCs.  Seeing Sylvanas in the Class Order Hall would be sweet.

my main class in legion is going to be a druid.

i used to play all classes and have different mains with almost every addon, but since cataclysm i stuck with my druid. druids are just awesome, because of their very variable playstyle.

what i apprecuate is that now you can play every specc without redoing your bars (i know there are addons for this, but who cares if it's implemented from blizzard :D) every time you respecc! (: so i'm curious to see the changes in my favourite specc, the balance druid, since the rotation in WoD wasn't that exciting, though it made some fun in the first place.

my favourite druid npc is of course malfurion, i just love the lore, his love to tyrande and i enjoy reading every little piece of their story :)

I leveled a hunter a week before WoD and it has treated me well throughout this expansion. I plan to continue as Marksman in Legion. I would have to say my favorite hunter npc has to be Hemet Nessingwary because I'm a sucker for grinding quests. Hopefully I'll be hanging out with the Azeroth's most famous big game hunter

I'll be maining a shaman, enhancement to be exact. I've always loved the battlemage playstyle and I feel like Enhancement Shamans are closest to that. I would love Drek'thar in the class hall

I'll be playing a Druid in Legion, Balance specifically, since I've been playing it for a long while and I'm very excited about the changes that the new expansion brings. One of my favourite Druid NPCs is Thisalee Crow. I loved that they returned in WoD and would very much enjoy seeing her again in my Order Hall.

I play Blood Death Knight in live and will definately play it as my main in legion. Really looking forward to test the new rune system and new abilities cycle in Legion. And I would very like to see my new boss, Bolvar Fordragon in my class hall(well, if not too much trouble)

I will probably roll with my DK as my main as I have for a while basically because he always seems to cool to me, ever since I made him back in Cata. For favorite class NPC for DK I would say Thassarian, his story is very heart felt and he has always seemed very bad ass in the realm of Death Knights

During mist of pandaria I feel like I mastered the spec in my endeavor to defeat kanrethad and obtain the flames of xoroth. Sort of excited for the new challenge of learning destruction after never really feeling compelled to play it thanks to the cool green fire style that demonology had, which is now being deleted, so I'm destruction all the way. My favorite NPC tied to the class has to be jubeka, the character which we sort of followed on the path to the kanrethad encounter. that was the beta test / proof of concept for the artifact quest scenarios

Hey all,I'm going to main the original cool Warrior. The story is simple. When I was younger, at the time BC was out, I watched my big brother play the warrior as an off tank. I then proceded to make my own warrior, a blood-elf, as my main. I have never ever strayed off my main, and Legion will be no different. I really like the way the warrior is going, except for tanking. My favorite NPC for the Warrior class must be Grommash Hellscream. He is awesome, and really is interresting. I was always smiling in WC3 when I met Grommash shouting "I can wait no longer." and then proceding to attack the alliance. Rich in story, cool in character - My favorite warrior NPC

Definetly enhancement shaman! I mean come on, DOOMHAMMER! What else do you want. Thrall has always been my favorite character so I would love to see him in the shaman class hall. Also looking foreward to the demon hunter class, but nothing can compare to my enhancement shaman wielding doomhammer!

My main and starting character will be the Death Knight. When the Lich King came, he also took with him the Death Knight to the Wow-world. I look forward to the division of the different classes to strengthen the identity and the fellowship in order class hall. I wish NPC Instructor Razuvious will be part of the learning of artifact weapons. The reason for this is because he helped all the Death Knights in the beginning to emblazon there first weapon with reforging. It would be nice if he followed up our journey standing in the order class hall to welcome us with all the new opportunities.

I'm gonna have to go with my Death Knight. Still haven't decided if I want to stick with frost for that epic quest line or unholy because it looks so fun. The NPC I'd like to see in my class hall and is also my favorite, Tirion Fording. Wouldn't that be a cruel twist of fate since seeing him almost put on the Lich King's helmet? No matter what happens, Legion is shaping up to be amazing

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
