Ever since I saw them in the burning legion expansion I have always wanted to play as one. heck I played one in Diablo 3 hoping it would be similar since it has the same name. I also feel that the class representation isn't as strong as it could be with the online community. You have the dedicated streamers and youtubers for each class. Everyone can think of a warrior, everyone can think of a mage. But no one as far as I am aware has took on the role of representing the Demon hunter in its entirety and on the videos and forum posts I have seen so far covering the class usually miss out little elements that don't really show the class in its true light. I want to step into that role and represent the class to its fullest potential and I just need the chance to do so.   As for my favourite NPC in the game i'd have to go with Altruis the sufferer. First time I saw him I thought he was cool standing next to his nether drake. Rebelling against his cause that made him that way and has a lot of back ground to his life if you do some reading

My main class will without a doubt be a disc priest, have been playing a priest since the good old days so not going to change now also really good class overhaul has happened with them I think. Prophet Velen in the class halls will be amazing, have been reading up on him a lot lately and will be great to see him in game

In Legion I play to play a Mage, probably Frost or Arcane, although I'd consider Fire if they manage to make it more compelling. He should be a major lore figure but only exists in game as a ghostly boss in Karazhan. He was the father of Medivh and a powerful Mage in his own right. He's a tragic figure and just adds to the tragedy that surrounded Medivh

My class pick will possibly be shaman, and naturally, one of my favorite heroes in WoW is Thrall. Although, I wasn't too satisfied with his decision after the Cataclysm to promote Garrosh to Warchief, a decision that carried through almost 3 expansions

There is nothing more awesome than commanding the elements. Calling Lightning from the sky is probably as cool as it gets. I hope Thrall makes an appearance since regarding the history of Warcraft he seems to be the only orc with a brain, which already makes him unique without the "most powerful shaman" modifier added ;-)

My main will be a Priest (can you guess from my name)? I've fallen in love with all 3 specs of class (especially the saving potential of Disc and the raw execute damage of SPriest that can shine with a good Shadow player) and would love nothing more than to be able to test all the new changes. I help fellow priests over on Reddit, watch discussion of How2Priest/MMO-C, occasionally stream raids for applicants to my guild, and have written a basic guide for HFC way back when. I was pretty disappointed when I didn't get put in the Beta, but I understood Blizzard had to be fair. I don't know many lore Priests but that guy always stood out as a pretty baller Priest during the Shadowmoon Valley questline in WoD

I will be playing my hunter as my main. Even though I've played other classes throughout the life of WoW. She is by far my favorite, and has always been my main since Vanilla WoW.  I'd love to see many NPC's in my class hall, but I think a favorite would have to be Sylvanas Windrunner by far.She is hot, kicks butt, and would be a great one to have there as a strong leader/symbol for our class order hall

It was my main back in tbc and it has been sitting as a side char every since the end of sunwell. Happy to see the changes for them in legion. Thrall is pretty much the default choice for most shamans but I would like to see some of the trainers like Sulaa in there as well

Well the healer paladins are pretty rare in the game these days, so i think i would continue with my holy paladin to get some action in the Legion :)

My main in Legion will be my Death Knight. I played a Warrior from vanilla launch through the start of wrath. Every expansion I think I might make my warrior my main just out of nostalgia, but I love my DK too much. Ever since the start of wrath it's been my favorite class, even with all the hate we got it never deterred me from playing it as my main. It combines two of my favorite fantasy niches, necromancy and icy frosty things. As for my favorite class NPC, it's not exactly a class NPC but certainly heavily related to a famous DK NPC. I've always liked the concept of valkyries, and I love WoW's take on them. It would be cool to have some Val'kyr in Acherus but I know that's doubtful

I picked Pala because i loved it since the first time i played it. I just liked all the lore and everything to do with paladins lol and the npc or npcs i would like to see are all the spirits of the other paladins who played a key role in lore that would be cool

So I have been playing a Mage since the first day I set foot in Azeroth. The main reason is becuase I came from Runescape where magic was the bomb but required expensive runes, so when I heard that mages in WoW didn't need runes I immediately assumed they must be OP (haha). Well regardless I fell in love and have never looked back. The lore for Warlocks has always seemed awesome. Basically the red-headed step child of the mages guild. The heroe Azeroth wants, but not what it deserves. Now that lore is playing a bigger part in class Identity, I think it's finally time to turn to the dark side and become a Warlock. I'm very excited for what Legion hasin store for me

Will be playing Tauren Protection Warrior, as for the past few expansions! Would like to see Baine Bloodhoof in the class hall, or spirit of Cairne.

I'll be maining a Ret Pally going into Legion. Currently, I enjoy Ret because of its already strong class fantasy, and I feel Legion is going to be expanding and narrowing down that fantasy into something fantastical and exciting.   As someone who started in Wrath, I have a bit of a prejudice towards Tirion Fordring for my favorite Paladin, and he's the reason I wanted to play one when I started. If I could, I would love to see him in the Order Hall.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
