The class that I will be maining in Legion is, of course, the original glass cannon, the Mage. I have mained a Mage since The Burning Crusade and I have numerous lower level Mages to go along with that main. Squishy yet powerful, mages are an asset to any raid, battleground group, or arena team. I currently play as Frost, but I'm hoping that the Legion class changes will renew interest in the other specializations. I miss the days of the PoM Pyro Fire mage. Those days were truly something to behold. On to which mage NPC I'd like to see in my class hall. While my main is Horde aligned, I consider myself to be largely bi-factional. With that being said, the mage NPC whom I'd most love to see in my class hall is Lady Jaina Proudmoore. Lady Jaina Proudmoore has always been my biggest inspirations as mage. She is steadfast, intelligent, cunning, charismatic, and exceptionally powerful. Her rise to leader of the Kirin Tor was proof of that. While she certainly displayed an understandable temper after the attacks on Theramore, she also displayed obvious control and an ability to think clearly even in the most stressful of situations. Realizing the potention outcome of her actions through the guidance of Thrall and Kalec and not releasing that massive tidal wave upon Kalimdor was proof of that. She is a leader whom, even as Horde, I would be willing to follow anywhere.Honorable Mentions:Rhonin: Deceased and incapable of being in our class hall, he would have been an excellent choice. Maintaining a portal while drawing the largest known mana bomb directly to his tower and shoving Jaina through the portal even while she insisted on not leaving his side displayed just how selfless he was as a leader. To say that the former leader of the Kirin Tor was admirable is an understatement.   Aethas Sunreaver: A member of the Council of Six, Aethas provided the closing speech in the vote to make Jaina leader of the Kirin Tor after Rhonin's untimely death. In his infinite wisdom, he also displayed astounding critical thought when Jaina approached the Council after Thalen Songweaver's betrayal, helping them to realize that any member of any race could be a traitor

I really love the fantasy of rapid fist fighting and kicks. The character I most like would be chen Stormstout and I am really looking forward to seeing him in the order hall. I really loved him when I saw that he helped Voljin after Garrosh's betrayal. He is a real adventurer and overcame every challenge he faced in Pandaria such as in Stormstout Brewery

But since i finally got one up to level 100 and i like the kind of playstyle i'll play a caster class, and what could be better than the moonkin. Oh and i forgot to mention that i like scythes Also it would be nice to see zen'kiki (the funny troll druid we needed to help in the plaguelands) in the class hall of the druids. He's probably the best land seal we will ever see in WoW xD

I've recently started playing a Brewmaster and love the playstyle. I also think it would be cool to see Shang Xi in spirit form as an order hall leader

I'm going to main my warrior most likely. I love the fact that no magic is required and the only thing that keeps you alive is steel and rage, very nice feeling to it. I'm quite dissapointed by the class hall - as I was hoping to see the ghosts of previous warriors present. However, my favourite warrior from the lore is either Orgrim Doomhammer or Lothar - both hero's of the 1st and 2nd war. Doomhammer because he was so close to getting his people the safety and he had a personal bodyguard of ogres. Lothar because he rallied all of the kingdoms together, and is the last of the arathi bloodline - who were some kick arse dudes.

Compared with other class, Death Knight's rune system and disease system is most fun. I don't have to pay attention on different skills cooldown, like warror's mortal strike and colossus strike. I just need to focus on my runes cooldown and remaining time of my disease. Hence, Death Knight is the best class for me

I'll play Demon Hunter as my main in legion, I remember when they mentioned they would be in vanilla but it was never implemented. Played since vanilla and for a while now my main was a rogue. I have 3 favorites of course illidan... but varedis and leotheras were interesting too!

I will be playing my Mage and in Fire Spec. I have always enjoyed spellcasters in games, and playing a Fire Mage for the majority of the World of Warcraft, only having to change specs because Fire wasn't the best viable spec for progression, I hope that is a change come Legion.  The obvious answer would be either Khadgar or Jaina, however honestly I have to pick Rhonin, mainly because at his time he seemed very powerful, and wise.

I can't wait to play Legion as a paladin . I play WoW since WotLK as a paladin and it was awesome. The best thing in Legion for me is that i will have a chanse to wield The Ashbringer and the awesome class order hall , but also as a paladin i would like to revenge for  Tirion Fordring's death.

I'm going to play my Paladin again for Legion because the Death Knight stuff doesnt appeal nice to me, but a shiny Ashbringer does.   And as an NPC in my Class Order Hall i have to go with Uther the Lightbringer. He's Uther man. (Rip Fordring :< )

I haven't made a hard and fast decision about a main class yet. I'll have to play around with them during the pre-patch before I settle on one. My favorite NPCs have always been mage class - Especially Medivh. The Guardians of Tirisfal probably have some of my favorite lore out of anything else in the game

I used to play Hunters exclusively but with the changes to the class, I decided that I would like to play a Guardian Druid for this expansion just because I want to try maining a tank for Legion. I love Malfurion as a character and I hope that he plays a big role in this expansion as he played a role in the previous couple of expansions

Rogue is my class pick although the pruning hit us hard, but i'm very inclined to test out everything about the rogue class. I have been a rogue since Vanilla and I really don't think i'll ever stop being a rogue. My favorite NPC would be Valeera Sanguinar, as she is the rogue that really caught my eye, Loved her in the battle of the undercity and i def hope she gets a little more air time in legion biggrin.png

I am not sure if play frost or arcane. I will test both, maybe on the Beta realms, if I am lucky. He is really famous of course, but I know him since Warcraft 2 and he is the reason that I created my mage once upon a time.

You must however provide a relevant reply in this topic, detailing your class pick and your favourite class NPC.I was introduced to druid by good a friend of mine. And I instantly loved it.However the devs playing around with the class setups in-game made me change from BOOMKIN to a tree, so with the changes in Legion it sounds like I'll be going back to the roots  My favourtie class NPC of the druid, gotta be Malorne. But, technically he is not a druid but the father of all druids you might say. the dragon aspect. Referred to as "mother of druids", however she's not. Great lore and lots hopes for the emerald dream in upcomming Legion.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
