I'll be maining an Enhance Shaman, just like I have since I started playing in BC.  I play Horde, but I've always been a fan of Nobundo, something about the 'redemption in the elements' really resonated with me, so I hope he's hanging around with us at the Maelstrom

I'll be playing with my destruction Warlock as always! i can't wait to have the Scepter of Sargeras and fight the legion with their own demons! And my favorite warlock, of course it's Gul'dan!

So i will main my DK in LEgion, and the reason why i like the DK is because its just too badass to be the most evil class in the game, and with Legion we get more and more spells like Lich king, how awesome is that. npc is Darion Mograine, he just got some epic lore, and as im a BIG LORE freak i love his story with his father and all that, and how he truns around in the Questline.

I recently started playing a druid and I love it. I am really hoping that Hamuul Runetotem is in the order hall because taurens, especially Hamuul  are pretty awesome.

I will be playing Frost DK because the lore behind the weapons is so cool and I love the whole theme of the DK. I love the class and the fact that frost DK gets to use weapons that were forged from the shattered remains of Frostmourne makes it that much more epic. I would love to win this contest to see what Frost DK's have to offer

I will be playing a balance druid because I love the multi-dotting and nuke casting play style.  Plus druids are very mobile and they are the most versatile class in the game.  I am also looking forward to the changes that legion will bring to the balance druid such as the removal of the eclipse bar and I am really excited about the talent that will enable you to cast while moving as long as you are within the range of your star fall.  My favorite druid NPC would have to be Naralex from the wailing caverns because he puts a beat down on murlocs, my pick as the most annoying mob in the game.  Lastly and probably the real reason I'm sticking with a balance druid is because of the awesome Laser Chicken powers

I have been a warlock since Nov 30 2004. It's all i have mostly ever known (barring a few disastrous forays into hunter/mage territory. My main has invariably been the demo lock. Even at the height of SSC/Hyjal, i was that token lock railing against the might of the legion, with my trusty felguard (Shatoom) and the fantastic 2 PC T5. The only way to keep felguard's up in those days.

Thanks to the advent of demonhunters (meh :p), demon locks are getting changed into a more classical summoner. I am cautiously excited about this change, and want to really test every aspect of it, and offer constructive feedback to blizzard regarding this change. I don't want this spec to go live, and then get bandaid changes. We still have time to get a pleasing feel to the spec, and i want to be a part of that.

I'm excited to play with the new runic system and hoping it helps speed up the play style.   Favorite DK NPC would have to be Darion Mograine.  I like how his story ties in with all of the Ashbringer drama.

At vanilla launch I start to play Rdrood (decurse boy for all vanilla) then I switch to holy pal (guild request that) on BC. I loved my Hpal so I play it since BRF. At the HFC launch I try to heal as MW monk and rellay love it so I change my main to MW monk and regarding gameplay of Hpal and MW monk for legion I think to keep monk as my main and pal as my alt. I play all the classes and if I grant an access (no beta club since 2004) I'm gonna test all classes and spec to have and overall view of the raid and be more efficient as a healer. My favorite NPC still Thrall. no word to say, just look that video on nagrand for final quest. it's BADASS THRALL really love it, and even if it's no longer the warchief, in my heart he still the real warchief. (if I have to choose a monk it's drunked Chen )  Good luck everyone for the contest.

I think I gonna reroll on my very old main Paladin.

Just thinking about getting the mighty Ashbringer from Tirion is great.

I really hate Blizzard, that he is gonna die...

I've been waiting for this class since Burning Crusade.Definitely want to see Illidan in class HQ. He is the most famous Demon Hunter in WOW.

My main character will continue to be my Paladin and I think it'll be fun to actually play out the Legion storyline as a warrior of light. I'd hope that Tirion Fordring will be in the Class Hall, but I feel like Ashbringer being in the hands of players may mean he's died somwhere between Cata and now but I'll settle for Lady Liadrin since my character race is BE

i'm maining a druid, I love the look of the Moonkin remake, really fits the theme of the sun and stars after many years, a extremely gorgeous class hall, and a gorgeous looking weapon. As for favourite class npc - Broll Bearmantle, always loved Varian's lore, and came to love Broll and Valeera's along with it, hopefully he gets to see some action in legion

One of the classes I can relate to irl and have adored since I have picked it up. Also who wouldn't want to wield Doomhammer? I've been playing since the beginning of wrath and have been continuously subbed since.  I would like to see the spirit of Sen'Jin or Mother Kashur who trained Drek'Thar in the class order halls.

My main will definitely be a demon hunter. I love the lore and aesthetics of the class. I can't wait to be able to play as a demon hunter in the Broken Isles. The NPC I want to see would definitely be Illidan. Since he is the first demon hunter and such an iconic character, it would be great to have him in the class order hall

I'm planning to main a Protection Paladin in Legion. I enjoy having the capabilities to charge boldly into a group of mobs and survive with all of the mitigation, healing and talents that the class provides. I also like the symbolism of being one filled with "The Light".  If I had my choice of who to have in the Class Order Hall, it would probably be Tirion Fordring. With Wrath being my favorite expansion so far, he was a major part of the story line when it came to ICC

I'm planning to play mainly Paladin in Legion. I've been playing Ret Paladin since I first started to play the game. In its bad times and good times I kept playing it. With interesting changes (in Legion) like greater blessings, shiny animations, new defensive capabilities and most importantly new SPELLS!, I think I will enjoy paladin most. Also the Order Hall of paladins looks really beautiful! And my favorite paladin NPC is Tirion Fordring. I always loved the lore behind Tirion... his commitment to reignite the ashes of Silver Hand. So yeah that's it. Hopefully I can play Paladin in Beta too!

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
