For legion I'll be continuing to main my Death Knight. I've been playing my DK since Wrath of the lich king. I went as far as completing the legendary weapon shadowmourne and completing the achievements for ICC to get the frostwyrm vanquisher to fulfill the fantasy of being one even more. All the specs look good so far in Legion and I haven't' decided on which one I'll be. As far as NPC's are concerned I think we have a good representation already in our hall. However I think it would be cool to see the original Terron Gorefiend (from our universe) make an appearance as he was the first death knight ever. The last time we saw him he was in the Black Temple with Illidan so maybe he will make a cameo later on. I'm sure there could be more potential lore and abilities to learn from him. If not him then Anub'arak, once again resurrected by the current lich king bolvar to aid the death knights of ebon blade

Playing Warrior because it's what i have played for the past 2 expansions and it's the class i enjoy the most.... I mean come on smashy smashy. My favorite NPC in the game is hands down without a doubt Gamon. Not only is he a warrior which i hope to see in my class order hall but he has been beaten, thrown down and walked all over to turn around and show everyone whats what. I remember in Cataclysm when i went up to attack him and he destroyed me. Taught me a lesson or two.

I'm going to be playing my undead priest - she is my first "main" and has always been my favourite (possibly the fact that she can just eat anything and never puts on weight.  She's also the guild leader so I feel it appropriate she is first .  Interested to see the changes coming, especially for shadow. Not very priesty, perhaps, but I'd like to see Sylvanas there in my class hall - she's just bad-ass (also one sexy looking lady

I'm thinking Druid at this point, I really like what they're doing with Balance and even the Guardian artifacts look damn cool. I guess my only complaint is that Hunters are being shifted around weirdly. I understand that Survival has a lot of the skills from vanilla and that they think it should be the melee spec because of that, but from a strict class-identity perspective, it's weird that Beast Masters are supposed to be well. masters of beasts, and yet the Survival spec is the one that fights the most in tandem with its pet. Total aside - I hope they redo Skoll's model from Storm Peaks

I have played an Orc MM Hunter as my main, ever since I started playing Warcraft midway through WotLK and as much as I like some of the new changes to some of the other classes in legion, I think I'll be sticking with my MM Hunter. All that and I've not even mentioned Thas'dorah legacy of the Windrunner's for artifact weapon. It's difficult to look passed Sylvannas Windrunner within our Class Hall, or is it?. Good luck everyone and thanks for the chance

I wow game for 4 years and my main character is a warlock. I plan on playing as the main demonology specialization, as always considered the most fun of all. Sorry for my English, because I used the google translator to translate

I will be maining a mage in this expansion as it is the class i first started out in WOW and find all three specs fun to play and can't wait to be able to have all 3 artifacts to level and be able to switch between arcane, fire, and frost easily. I would find it interesting to see Illidan Stormrage as an npc in the mage class hall in some form. As before he was a demon hunter he was one of the strongest mages in azeroth

I was always fan of rogues, so probably I will be playing this class. I always liked 'sneaky' play style, and a lot of CC, and thats the rogue I like the most, even though in MY opinion rogue was most fun to play in TBC, I still play it :D and i probably will :)

As of rogues NPCs I don't know if it counts, but pre-Legion favourite NPC rogue is Illidan, i know hes DEMON HUNTER, but at the biginning of WoW, even before it in WC3 i always liked him and his fighting style is rogue-like. If Illidan doesn't count as rogue (since there's demon hutner class now in Legion) I would vote for... Maiev Shadowsong, yeah so close to Illidan. To be honest, I like this story the most of whole warcarft, i liked playing maiev in WC3 campaign, and i was always curious... what happend to her after catching Illidan? She's badass and I'm looking forward to see her in Legion :)

Favourite class NPC has gotta be Tirion, even if he becomes something else.

I'll play Paladin! Ashbringer got my eye since minute 1, of course.

And I can't wait to se Turalyon back to our world and fight alongside him. It could happen by the end of the expansion, finding him and Alleria in some demonic world (Argus maybe?) and join them as the Silver Hand in the final assault to Kil'jaeden's army. Epic! I just hope he's not just dead or something like that... after all this time it would be quite dissapointing.

My main class will be a death knight. It was my first level 80 back in WoTLK and I just love the idea of them, especially the changes with unholy death knights. The NPC I would most like to see the in the order hall is, of course, the Lich King. Hes badass and an awesome death knight

My main class has been the Prot-Paladin since MoP and because of the new moving animations, it will stay this way.

I think every Paladin's wish is to have Uther the Lightbringer in the headquaters. I heard there is a statue of him, but the real deal would be great :-)

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
