I picked Druid, been a boomy for like 10 + years. But I think Boomy/Destro Lock and Warrior? I'll level all my other chars too for the lore of the artefacts 'cause I'm a lore freak.

I'll probably be maining a Demon Hunter in legion because. I really want to see how much stuff in the old world you can get to without flying now that double jumping is a thing now. From what I've been seeing in the Alpha, the specs aren't too boring either.  As for NPCs, the obvious one is Illidan for DHs, but just like the Lich King, I doubt Blizz will ever make him our 'Mograine.' I'd like to see Loramus Thalipedes back in the game just because he was one of the only demon hunters in the game that felt like his main focus was to hunt demons and kill them. Everyone else mostly just does what they were doing before, but now as a demon hunter. So, yes, I want to actually track down and hunt demons as a demon hunter

The new animations and sounds make it look so satisfying and fun, as well as the spec changes. I love the lore Blizzard has developed around Skyhold and although Odyn's pretty epic the Val'kyr give so much flavor to the class they're probably my favorite NPCs there. I might end up raiding on my discipline priest but my warrior will get a lot more playtime

I reallly adore how they've kept the healing identity alive with the reworked holy specialisation, and i cant wait to get into the mentality of a spirituel person who recovers the lost health in my group rather than just mitigating it completely. All i've learned on the subject over the past few weeks make me think it will work out great as an extra story mode in the game next to the usual questing. The NPC i would most like to see in my Class Order Hall is definitely Tyrande Whisperwind as a High Priestess.I've always loved the story of Tyrande, Malfurion and Illidan, and this is the perfect time for them to fight together once more, as they did before the sundering. In my mind, Tyrande has always held the position of one of the greatest priests, next to Prophet Velen of course. I can't wait to get into the fray and start playing my favorite game in a new and enhanced way

My Main will be a Warlock, it has been a warlock since launch, represent. In the class hall I think it would be pretty interesting to see the spirit of the Gul Dan that died in our timeline.  It would be interesting to see him battle against himself to 'set things right' according to the time line.  Now I pray to the wow gods for a beta key.  There is some sexy demon action in it for you icy vein devs if i win

If you need an actual NPC thats in the order hall then I'd say Lady Liadrin.  Her redemption story is great, as is her standalone story in Paragons

Shadow Priest is by far my favorite class since ever. All the cool things they're adding in terms of appearances and just overall fun style of playing.  Sylvanas is my favorite NPC in all of WoW, she's a Hunter i guess? or rogue. very excited to see her playing a major key role this expansion

Going to play Monk, started with him in WoD (lifetime hunter before), and its honestly more fun than any other class I tried before. Altho i'm sceptical about the changes to SEF and new gameplay with it.

Chen for life!

Of all my lvl 100 toons my monk is the one i play the second least along side with my hunter. But now that they are initiating the artifact system and i have seen the monks artifacts I will literally main a monk for those stone fists. Which will probably still be my main for pvp but that artifact weapon looks sweet.

The Frost spec looks crazy good in terms of combat, but also Unholy's new class fantasy and artifact is looking great as well. He has a rich and emotional backstory, and he was key in helping the Death Knights splinter for Arthas's control. He's going to be a central part of our class hall and quests, so that's going to be awesome

Definitely blood DK. I love my Gnome DK.

I am really interested in Leech having a real use, that axe looks sweet too..... Also... BONE STORM!

For the NPCs... I don't really know, I never likes the DK NPCS all that much... and there can't really be new ones right?... I'd like to see more about Bolvar though, we'll see if I decide to do the Frost DK quest :)

I will be playing mage in legion, because we are always op and I can't wait to cast greater pyroblasts but seriously I love the mage as a class, I love magic casters in general and I find all the specs fun to play. If I could choose an NPC its would be the Robin Williams NPC and I would want him to tell jokes and make film quotes, like off "Good Will Hunting" "Watch it right there chief alright

Even though I am excited to try a Demon Hunter I think my main will continue to be a Blood Death Knight. It is a class I enjoy and I feel has many of the best tanking skills. As for what what class NPC I like best. I know many DKs say LK but I don't really think of him as a true DK, more of a unique class with similarities to DKS. Koltira Deathweaver is the accepted first DK to join the Horde, and as a veteran Hordie and DK, I feel he paved the way for the class just as Thassarian did for the Alliance.

I'm going to main ench Shaman because in Alfa he is really fast-paced and i would love  to have Thrall in my Order Hall. I never played Shaman but he seems to be cool. I And also in Hearthstone and in Heroes of the Storm i play Thrall really often

I'll never be able to abandon my babe Death Knight for legion. She's been my main for years, and now me and her are going to take on the legion together. And I'd want to see the new but not so new Lich King, Bolvar Fordragon in our class order halls. I know it's lonely up there in Ice Crown

I will be maining a Demon Hunter after having spent 11 years on a Druid (assuming that I like the gameplay anyways, otherwise my Druid will likely win) In the Order Halls, I'm very strongly hoping to see Broll Bearmantle in the Druid Order Hall, and I would love seeing Vandel, one of the main characters in the novel WoW: Illidan for my possible mains. I would also love seeing Nobundo for shamans, I always loved his story in Unbroken and Valeera Sanguinar for rogues. It's too hard to pick one.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
