Well, it's a tough choice, but I would have to go with my old standby of Hunter, as that has been my main for the last 3 expansions. As to the NPC, I would have to go with Nessingway, simply because I always loved his "murder billions of those animals" quests for how straight forward they were.  Thy chickened out of doing those quests in Draenor, here's hoping we get a new set of them

There has been alot of negative feed back on tanking in general in Legion and only look to provide Blizzard with the best feed back a tank of 10+ years can provide. Only expansion I didn't main prot warrior was Wrath due to how DK worked at the time

I will be maining a death knight all expansion long, my death knight has always been my number 1 go to class and it always will be :) My favorite Death Knight NPC? Thats a trick question, since my FAVORITE is actually a former paladin (a.k.a Darion Mograine) and current Highlord of the Knights of the Ebon Blade. He is a fine example of retribution and revenge, and embodies everything a death knight aspires to be. To take revenge on the Lich King for what he's made us into, and to exact retribution on those who dare defy us! Knights of the Ebon Blade, to war we march, and may we leave death and destruction in our wake!

I'm so excited to play my Hunter in Legion.

As far as my favourite class NPC. I would have to go with Hemet Nesingwary.

I will most definetly be representing acherus-- Team DK. i think the NPC i'd like to see most in our class order hall would be Bolvar (The new LK obviously ) or if they can fit Saurfang (obviously we killed him in ICC) into the lore as a risen ebon blade deathknight that would be great too, we need more (Possibly even new) iconic powerful generals at our camp cause it's always been kinda like "Hey im home. Darion, Class Trainers. zombies and abominations. no? nobody? mmkay I'm gonna leave now good talk guys" XD but that's just me. no judgement

My Blood Elf Warrior, Achilles, will be representing me in Legion!

I think it'd be great to see Broxigar in the Warrior Order Hall. Fighting the Legion? Been there, done that, 'attacked' Sargeras himself! Seeing Cairne Bloodhoof would also be refreshing - it's been too long, old friend.

I've only ever stuck with my Warrior and my Druid, and no doubt will be playing those two in Legion too. My Druid would love to see Ursol and Ursoc - #BearFormRepresent!

I will be playing a demon hunter in Legion and raid mythic with it as well. I would love to see Loramus Thalipedes make an appearance in the class hall, some interesting quests in Blasted Lands with him (pre and post cataclysm)

I wish I had a unique NPC choice but someone already beat me to it. Mainly because my main will be a Death Knight. Of course I'm going to try out the Demon Hunter though.

Played a priest in Vanilla Beta, and my main toon I have had since the release was my priest. I switched over to Shadow in BC and have been shadow ever since, during the OP times and the nerfed times. I would love to see a classic shadowpriest, a shadowpriest of vanilla quality. Shadowpriest Sezz'ziz from ZF, as long as he wears the Bad Mojo Mask

Not to be a bandwagoneer, but I am currently leaning towards rolling a Demon Hunter. I know a lot of the appeal can be attributed to it being shiny and new, but I like classes that have a pretty mobile and fast playstyle, which seems right up the DH alley; that being said, I will need to play it before I make the final decision, so I'm hoping we get a good amount of time with the pre-patch so I can get a feel for all classes.

As for class NPC, I'll have to say both Thrall and Malfurion Stormrage. For a long time Thrall has been my favorite, but now that I am almost done reading the Chronicle Volume 1, Malfurion is definitely a BA as well.

I remember in the late months of 2009 as i had a couple of months ago created my new death knight. On that fateful day i got my Bloodsail Admiral title and i think that is my favourite thing in the entire game and that Death Knight is like my daughter at this point so I will continue playing as her for all eternity..

As for an NPC, well Death Knights already have Mograine... I would like to choose the Lich King but what are the odds of that? I guess this is a wish after all so I do choose Arthas because he is my dream.

I've played other classes, but when it comes down to it I'm a warrior main.  I have been since I started playing WoW and the lure of the Fury Warrior pulled me to that class.  As far as warriors go, I think it would be really awesome to have the spirit of Cairne Bloodhoof be one of our NPCs.  Now that Garrosh is gone maybe he will return to help the Horde and Alliance warriors.

My one true love has always been my shaman although i have never "mained" her in an expansion. With the changes to priests and paladins that I'm not looking forward to i think its time to devote myself fully to Enhance. Favorite shaman would probably be Rehgar Earthfury, i love a character with a spotted past, plus hes on the council of tristfal representing elemental magic, thats pretty sweet. My favorite NPC of all time would have to be Nazgrim though

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
