I will be rolling a DK yet again for this expansion, will be interesting to re-learn things with the mechanics changes. I would love to see Bolvar Fordragon in the order hall, I think that storyline is a great one and should continue

I will definitely play Paladin, no matter if they are op or not . I have been playing pally since TBC. Simply love that class ( ret ofc). Tirion Fordring has to be my favourite NPC just because of Ashbringer , always wanted to wield that weapon and now in Legion I will be able to do so

My main class for legion will be balance druid. My balance druid is the first character i ever made in world of warcraft back in late vanilla. I was a bit sceptical about being a balance druid in legion. Before the announcment of legion, i had 2 requierments before i made my mind up. I wanted a revamp of the eclipse bar or it being removed and a new model for boomkins. Both happened so i am super excited to play a balance druid. The way the eclipse bar worked in WoD was just horrible, very stressful and made you stare at the UI instead of the gameplay. I even race changed back to tauren again just for the purpose of legion, its a perfect druid expansion, with the moose mount from archi and val'sharah. I am really looking forward to know what happens to Malfurion, he is an amazing character and has an awesome story in world of warcraft. I would be so happy to try out the balance druid before the launch of legion and do my best to give feedback

I'll be playing a Druid mainly, not decided whether or not I'll be Guardian or Restoration I think that honestly depends on what my friends need me to be.  Druid has been my calling since the beginning, the class fantasy is my jam and I adore it.  Shapeshifting is just so rad, I mean come on.  I think what Blizzard have given druids in relation to their artifact changing their shapeshift appearance is just so great, they really did not have to do that and they did, and it's just perfect for my class.  That said, Guardian seems a little bit OP, so that's always fun to try out, and my love for Ye Olde tree of life will always keep me going back to restoration.

I really hope Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem comes to join my vanguard in Legion, I always loved his character arc of just how wise and respected he was not just amongst the tauren or the druids but spanning accross multiple cultures.  He's braved some of the harshest situations we druids have had to face (See 'Firelands') And ultimately has had a huge impact in the fate of Azeroth.  Really, he's sort of like Grandpa Druid at this point, even if people don't realise it.  I need your wise council, Hamuul of Clan Runetotem!

In Legion I'll be most likely playing a hunter, not sure which spec yet, i'd love to play the new BM though.

My favourite hunter NPC in WoW lore is definetely Hemet Nesingwary :D I'd love to see him in my class hall and continue the epic hunt!

Demon hunter for sure. Have to give the new class a moment to shine. Then again, who's to say I can't rotate the demon hunter and my death kmight and my hunter all as my main. I got time.

Definitely going to reroll as a Demon Hunter. I have always loved the lore behind Demon Hunters and Illidan himself. The art style of Illidan has always astounded me and being able to play and hone his skills makes me excited. Although I don't see it happening, having Illidan in my Order Hall would make me so happy.

I plan on focusing on my Hunter in Legion. She was my first character and my first to 90 and 100. I am anticipating the change to Survival, and the challenge of re-learning my favorite character. As far as my favorite NPC Hunter, absolutely has to be Lady Sylvanas. My main may be a loyal member of the Alliance, but none can compare to the Dark Lady...

I will be playing as a restoration druid as I have for the past 11 years of the game. I love everything about druids and they already have a very distinct class identity. There is just something with the class that I don't get from any of the others. I love healing as well and druids healing role is the one I find the most fun.

As for my favorite class NPC I would have to say Malfurion even though he's the default choice. In terms of druids in lore he just has such a compelling and influential presence in the world and you know...bird wings on your arms is mad points right there!

The changes to the spec are very interesting and of course who wouldn't want to be able to wield the ashbringer. I would love to see her in the class hall coming with us to continue the battle against the legion

Definitely Demon Hunter because I loved BC content & one of my favorite characters was Illidan.   I've been looking forward to this type of content for quite some time now, as i thought Legion content would come before WoD. With regard to the play style, that is totally me. Jumping around, dashing through enemies, and using the coolest weapons in game: glaives

My main will be my Night Elf Priestess.  I have always considered this my main class, and have always leveled her first with each expansion.

As for which NPC I'd like to see in the priest order hall I'm going with Iridi from the World of Warcraft novel Night of the Dragon by Richard Knack.  Her selflessness in giving all her staff's power to protecti Zzeraku during the dragon's battle with Dargonax.  Of course she would have to appear in ghostly form, because after Zzeraku fell, Iridi sacrificed her life to defeat Dargonax and save all of Azeroth.

If ghostly Iridi wouldn't be a possibility, I would go with High Priestess of Elune, Tyrande Whisperwind.

My main character in the Legion is a druid, because he can wear feathers, and has the ability to take on different guises. Play Druid is always interesting, have different abilities that help in combat. Elune protect me.

I will be playing a Retribution Paladin in Legion. This was the very first character I started playing with on WoW right around the time Burning Crusades came out. I have always leveled my paladin first before any other class since I just love the play-style they offer in PvP and PvE.

As for my favorite NPC, even though it sounds funny coming form a paladin lover, it would have to be Tirion Fordring. Ever since I started playing I have read into his lore and he has become my favorite NPC by far to this day. I loved the end of the Lich King as he finished off Arthas from one paladin to another.

I'm going to roll a Retribution Paladin as a main in Legion, mainly because of the lore. I've had my Ret Pally since 05 and remember falling victim to the infamous Ashbringer myth of fishing, where I spent hours upon hours trying to fish it from the waters. To me, the feeling of finally being able to fight the legion with the Ashbringer as the very embodiment of the light itself is incredible to me, and I cannot wait to start. Not only did he discover the artifact that became the Ashbringer, he WAS the Ashbringer for many years. He created one of my favorite stories in Warcraft history, the rise and fall of the Ashbringer and the fate of the Mograines. It would be great to at least see his spirit in the order hall

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
