i'll be maining my DK which i believe to be the best class ever. the role behind them never ceased to amaze me, and the DK starting quests are the only ones that i love doing over and over again. My favourite npc is Thassarian because he was the companion of Arthas following Mal'ganis and everything related to Arthas (and how he became the Lich King) is my passion.

Hunter has been my main and will continue to be so. As for NPCs, always loved the Marksman/Archer fantasy so probably one of the Windrunner sisters. Hoping we actually get an appearance and not just her bow

I will choose a warrior, because he has the best ability in the game: "EXECUT". As NPCs, I would like to see Varian, but he was doomed by blizzard, and the best warriors can not be found in alliance.

I plan to play paladin because I feel that they have the best lore behind them in my opinion. I really love the Knights of the Silver stories and the major paladin character such as Tirion, Uther, and Turalyon. I think that paladins have a special place in the World of Warcraft lore and they bring a lot to the raid.

I would love to see a Silver hand memorial in the order hall for every paladin but most especially for Uther.smile.png

I'll be playing monk, and for sure the one NPC I want in the class hall is Taran Zhu. He's just a bad ass.

From everything I have read and seen about Legion i'm leaning Monk all the way. Really looking forward to switching to all three specializations on a daily basis.  No other class has a Keg as it's weapon. Of course i think Taran Zhu embodies the monk spirit but i would be interested in seeing some possible Monks from other races aka Human take center stage as there is more to a Monk than just Pandas.

i'll be maining a Blood Death Knight, and as for my class hall, i'd like to see Bolvar as the Lich King at least make an appearance, otherwise, i've always liked Koltira and would like to see more of his story

My very first character was a Rogue and I have mained this character through every expansion.  Though Demon Hunter is very tempting, and I will have a lot of fun on it as an alt, the Rogue will remain my first and only love. As for NPC, I have to say Illidan Stormrage was always my favorite lore character, and I am excited that we will get to interact with him as an NPC in Legion

I am going to be a superb male Night Elf Demon Hunter Main with Illidan (who would have guessed.) being my all time favorite NPC in the Warcraft Universe. Being one of the most powerful beings in the Universes Student is gonna be hella amazing, I cannot wait to finally PvP as one and Eyebeam people to their Graveyard

was the first class i ever played and will continue playing it as much as possible. Brings back memories of all the old times i had in this game. For my favorite NPC i would say Tirion. He is such great character with really interesting design and brings a lot of character to the game and the lore.

I will likely be maining a Prot Warrior, given I continue to enjoy the play style when Legion launches.  I'm going to have to say Varian is probably my favorite warrior character, but with his... situation... I would love to see Muradin Bronzebeard in the Warrior class hall.

Thanks for the chance to participate and for the giveaway.  If I have the chance to play, I will be doing so as a protadin, as always (since tbc and on). Why? Because shiny.Protector of the light, crusader, blood knight.so many names to fall in love to. My favourite class NPC is Arthas Menethil. Yes, before he went haywire and became the prince of darkness. Reason, none other that it mimics life, meaning even the best intentions aren't a safeguard to what results in the end by making bad choices. On that aspect alone, I would love to have Arthas' ghost on the Order Hall, spreading advice to all the paladins. What advice the former LK can give you may ask?Simple.I just need to quote an (overused) old quote: "With great power comes great responsibility."

I will be playing a warrior going into Legion. I have played prot warrior since i first started to play WoW back in 2005. If i could choose any warrior as my favorite class NPC, it would have to be Broxigar. I understand he is dead, but he's awesome

The class i hope to play during Legion is Shadow Priest, Shadow Priest was my Main class during Cataclysm and MoP, I changed to Death Knight during WoD. I want to play Shadow Priest because from the videos i've watched they appeal more to me than Death Knights. I would love to get into this beta to test out the class i have enjoyed for 2 expansions and see if i want to play them again. My favourite Priest NPC is Prophet Velen. He is my favourite NPC because Draenei are my favourite race and he is a priest which ties in perfectly. His role during WoD was inspiring aswell

In warlords I was range for most of the expansion, now its time to switch to melee.

I will be maining a Warrior, many people don't seem to want to play a Warrior so I will be a like a rare elite walking about and people will be like "Woah its a Warrior, don't see many of them these days"

As for an NPC, can Ragnaros pay me a visit so he can lend me his Sulfuras cause that weapon never seems to drop :( but he is a cool character...well technically he's hot cause you know...he's made of fire

Rogue is my favorite class by far, and I like what they're doing with subtlety I think it'll make the class a lot more exciting to play in raid also more challenging.  As far as favorite rogue npc it'd be Maiev Shadowsong I've always like her lore with Illidan pretty exciting stuff

I will main my rogue, because it has been my main since I started with playing in Cata. Really looking forward to playing Outlaw, and I hope to see some of the things from Combat which I loved.

I want to see Milton Beats in the Class Hall, doing the same thing that he used to do in Ravenholdt, because some of my friends told me that it was a very nice experience while doing the old rogue quests.

My Main will be my Death Knight. I have chosen this path, because I believe in redemption und beeing able to come back from anywhere no matter how far down the rabbit hole I have tumbled. The NPC most compelling to me is Arthas Menethil. His wish to only protect his people. This drives him to do unimaginable things. He was once a young paladin, spoiled royal brat, but a defender of hope and wielder of the light. Throughout his life, coming up to his first encounter with the plague that is the scourge, Arthas was next in line for the throne of loarderon. He knew this. I like to compare him at this point to Thor. Young brat, powerful and just, but spoiled and seeking laurals. But true to heart and what a heart it was. His love for his people was his strength and his weakness. This was used against him in Strathholm. He would rather see his beloved people at peace in the afterlife then a part of the scourge. He would not take any chances either. The purge of Strathholm was his first test. Mal'Ganis used this pain and rage and lured poor Arthas to Northrend. Here finding the blade Frostmourne, he started to lose his self to the will of Ner'Zhul. Becoming the Lich Kings first Death Knight empowered Arthas. The whispers in the night and in the dark corners of his mind through the blade Frostmourne, the Lich King manuevered Arthas in doing despicable things. And by losing his soul and love for all that lives, Arthas found joy in torturing all. Thus the fate of Sylvanas Windrunner. Making her the banchee Queen was amusing for Arthas. After doing all asked of him and more. Returning home and murdering his father, conquering the sunwell he became that was he once hated the most. The Lich King himself.

Destiny chose a sad and unfortunate Fate for young Arthas Menethil. In his End, there was only darkness and sadness.

This Story has always been my favorite.

The young paladin who loved and lost to never love again. To become that what he hated only while trying to protect his people.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
