However, I finally got around to leveling up a Guardian Druid, and I'm REALLY tempted to change it up after 10 years as a Paladin. My favorite class NPC is Uther, though Yrel has rapidly become a close second. Shame we won't be seeing her outside of WoD

I'm swapping to mage for legion. Now, for my prefered NPC to see in the class hall, I'd really love to see Korialstrasz. He's an interesting character, and I don't know if he is in new Dalaran currently, but he should be more tied to the mages, and given a more prominent spot as a representative of Alexstrasza. For my bonus answers, I bring up two mages that have lost their relevancy since the Cataclysm: Theocritus of the Tower of Azora, and Morganth of Redridge. Theocritus (also the name of the creator of Greek Bucolic poetry in the 3rd century BC) is an eccentric mage with perhaps a greater than is appropriate interest in gnomes, and a deep hatred for Morganth. There used to be a kill quest given by Theocritus for Morganth, but with this gone from the game, maybe one of both of these mages can show up arguing with each other in the Mage Class hall as some comedic relief.

I'm planning on playing my Troll Shaman as a main in Legion, even though my main right now is a Guardian Druid. Even though i'm planning on playing the Shaman, i will consider of a few classes like Demon Hunter, Fury Warrior and Guardian Druid. As a Shaman there is no one else you should pick as favorit class NPC than Green Jesus himself, the one and only Thrall, but i still have a few other favorites, like Varian Wrynn :'( and Illidan. Best of luck to everyone entering the giveaway and hope i'll see you in Beta or at the Launch

I switch my Mainclass from Shaman 2 Demonhunter, cause this is fuckin awesome. Illidan is the coolest guy in the whole World of Warcraft. So i decided to play as his Grunt.

My favorite class in World of Warcraft? Without a doubt, it is Warlock.

 My favorite class NPC? Gul'dan.

Please don't panic. I admire the great evolution of this Warlock over time. He is one of many Warlocks I seek inspiration to evolve as a Warlock doing the right thing for my faction and all Azeroth.

I Warlock since I discovered this incredible class. years have passed, and always will be one.

The question is: What spec choose for the great war against The Legion?

Affliction, the master of shadows that make your enemies suffer slowly to death!

Demonology, the demonic master who controls an army of demons at your command!

Destruction, the master of chaos who calls down fire to burn and demolish enemies!

All 3 specs are tempting, and I want to test all.

I am prepared! How about you?

 ARE YOU PREPARED?!

 FOR AZEROTH!

My main in Legion will most likely be Mage, the class i played through Hellfire Citadel. My favourite Mage NPC that i hope is in my Class Hall is none other than MILLHOUSE MANASTORM. I would especially love if you could talk to him and he would comment on his wife being locked up somewhere close-by.

I've been maining a druid for the past few expacs and probably will continue the trend. It's nice to have an instant mount and other speed buffs and if I'm going to be getting more reputations I need to use him since he has all but 5 reputations at exalted.

I would love to see Archmage Vargoth show up in the Mage hall as well, either as a projection or as himself. i loved his little bit of action back in BC and then bringing him back in WoD.

I will play Arms Warrior as my main class because it's is the first class I chose when I started to play WoW. My favourite NPC that I would like to see in my class order hall would be Varian Wrynn.

I like to pvp a lot, I think that arms warrior is the best and can't wait to try it. I am also very excited to see the new quests and zones myself.

Cheers!

Was my first pick when i started (even though i melee/voidwalker leveled him back then to save mana ) rip old daysThe class fantasy was always there, and it is the darkest of them all. For the npc who really spoke to me was actually Kanrethad Ebonlocke with his quest to actually become a demon. Now it would really be nice that he could be placed inside our demonic class hall in his banished form as a constant reminder that i wooped his ass.

Blood Death Knight for me...

First, that axe looks sweet and will be great on a gnome :) also, I think seeing that leech stat finally useful is interresting...

We already heal ourselves quite a lot; I am looking forward to seeing what this brings us.

Also... BONE STORM!!!!!!

I will main my Blood DK.

I've always liked Saurfang, way back when he stood guard at the main gate of Orgrimmar. Can't wait to see what he's up to now.

I will be maining as a Demon Hunter this xpac. I've been a Ret since BC but they've changed the class too much for me this time around so I'm trying something new. As for the NPC I'd love to have in my class hall, it would have to be Leotheras the Blind, to remind us demon hunters not to fall victim to the demon within. His was a great fight in SSC.

Been all about Priest Mains for a while now. At one time, I had 3 of them max level xDSomeone who I'd like to see: Probably Moira Bronzebeard. There's a lot of mistrust around her and you can't help but be wary especially after she offered to help Varian in Blood in the Snow. Just makes you think she must have some masterful plan, we know she just can't wait until her son comes of age and can rule the Dwarves. It'd be great to see her there, maybe seeing more of what she has going on. xP

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
