Really looking forward to playing Demon Hunter as main after many, many years as a Rogue.) My favourite class NPC is probably Wrathion. He counts as a Rogue NPC right? He gave us our legendary daggers.

I've been playing a priest as main since I've started the game around late WoTLK. I was holy since the start, shadow never really appealed to me and I turned to discipline late Cataclysm. And I'm gonna stick to the awesomeness of my disc gnome priest for Legion as well :)

I'll be an undead rogue, as I've played the rogue class since the release of World of Warcraft. Something about hiding in the shadows and sneaking around (and ganking in low level areas, as rogues do) appeal to me.

In my class hall, I'd love to see Jasper Fel the poison vendor (and once upon a time, poison trainer). I have spent of a lot of time in front of him, brewing my poisons - and tea - when that was possible. Also I've paid him a lot of money. He deserves a place in my class order hall since he's been the perfect teacher in the arts of poison. And rogues need poisons... yes, they do. I wouldn't mind if he had turned undead after some tragic poisoning accident.

I will continue to play my MW Monk in Legion, the Canges seem to be very interesting. My favorite NPC is Taran Zhu, I would love to see him in the Monk Class Order Hall

I would like to play as Death Knight. I felt in love with this class in late MoP. Blood DK is by far my faviourite class and I like to tank with high self-healing. Also I would like to have Bolwar in my class hall - he is iconic character

So I have been playing a Mage since the first day I set foot in Azeroth. The main reason is becuase I came from Runescape where magic was the bomb but required expensive runes, so when I heard that mages in WoW didn't need runes I immediately assumed they must be OP (haha). Well regardless I fell in love and have never looked back. The lore for Warlocks has always seemed awesome. Basically the red-headed step child of the mages guild. The heroe Azeroth wants, but not what it deserves. Now that lore is playing a bigger part in class Identity, I think it's finally time to turn to the dark side and become a Warlock. I'm very excited for what Legion hasin store for me.

I start wow playing Rdrood from the vanilla launch to the BC launch, I was a decurse guy all the vanilla part. When BC was launched I switch to holy paladin cause my guild (hord) said one hpal is needed. And I enjoy it from BC to MOP. I try the MW Monk at the HFC patch and I really love the style. Now I play MW Monk and regarding the gameplay in legion, I think Monk's gonna be my main and paladin's gonna be my alt. I have all character so I'm gonna up all classes, but the 2 I'll focus for legion is MW Monk and Holy paladin. 12 years of wow and still in the no-beta club :(

If I have the chance to grant an access I'll think about testing all classes and spec before the legion release.

Good luck to everyone in the contest. ;)

Nwalca.

My first ever character was a rouge. Started playing back in WotLK with a friend and liked the class ever since. Would love to test out the new "Outlaw" spec.

I will be maining a demon hunter even though I've played warlock all these years. It was the closest thing to a demon hunter that's why. Ever since Blizzcon 2005 when they announced that Demon Hunters might have been a class in the future I've been holding my breath  My favorite npc is Illidan and for good reason, everyone thinks of him as a evil character but in reality everyone should know he is a very misunderstood character but extremely power hungry and selfish at times. Cant wait to see how he expands in Legion

I've played SV hunter since 2007.  We've been through a lot together.  I will continue to play SV hunter in Legion.  Sylvanas is definitely one of my favorite hunter class NPCs.  Seeing Sylvanas in the Class Order Hall would be sweet!

Hey all,
I'm going to main the original cool Warrior. The story is simple. When I was younger, at the time BC was out, I watched my big brother play the warrior as an off tank. It was amazing. I then proceded to make my own warrior, a blood-elf, as my main. I have never ever strayed off my main, and Legion will be no different. I really like the way the warrior is going, except for tanking.

My favorite NPC for the Warrior class must be Grommash Hellscream. He is awesome, and really is interresting. I was always smiling in WC3 when I met Grommash shouting "I can wait no longer!" and then proceding to attack the alliance. Rich in story, cool in character - My favorite warrior NPC  smile.png

My main class will without a doubt be a disc priest, have been playing a priest since the good old days so not going to change now also really good class overhaul has happened with them I think.

Prophet Velen in the class halls will be amazing, have been reading up on him a lot lately and will be great to see him in game!

My main will be a Priest (can you guess from my name)? I've fallen in love with all 3 specs of class (especially the saving potential of Disc and the raw execute damage of SPriest that can shine with a good Shadow player) and would love nothing more than to be able to test all the new changes. I help fellow priests over on Reddit, watch discussion of How2Priest/MMO-C, occasionally stream raids for applicants to my guild, and have written a basic guide for HFC way back when. I was pretty disappointed when I didn't get put in the Beta, but I understood Blizzard had to be fair. My favorite class NPC is probably Prophet Velen. I don't know many lore Priests but that guy always stood out as a pretty baller Priest during the Shadowmoon Valley questline in WoD

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
