Main class for Legion: I will be swapping mains over to Warrior. The class fantasy surrounding this class is amazing and who doesnt like smashing things in the face with two huge swords. Npc I'd love to see in the order would be High Overlord Saurfang. I only play alliance but he is the reason i ever touched warrior when starting WoW. Having him in the class hall would be great the lore behind him and never losing a battle along side Grom just screams a warrior deserving to reside in the halls of valor

Enh shaman. I've loved shaman ever since I picked it up, and now, this revamp will make me love it more. The gameplay changes, the artifacts. Actually maybe being picked over (Almost every other class) for once.

I've always been a priest main since Burning Crusade. Disc priests looks so fun :OOOO Seems like you need a good micro to play them. Gotta use what I learned from Starcraft. The concept of a shadow hunter is sick and he didnt have his time to shine unlike other race leaders.

Going back to my main a hunter after switching to a mage for HFC. I have always loved my hunter since vanilla. I will level my hunter first and probably then my mage. Sylvanas has always been my favorite NPC in the game. Something about how she is an the leader of the undead, which is always been my favorite race and zones

Other than trying out the new demon hunter class, I will definitely be maining my death knight. The changes coming to each spec with class fantasy at the head of everything make playing a death knight look even more incredible. As for the npc I'd like to see, it would easily be the Lich King

My main in Legion will be a Paladin, for sure. But i'm not sure yet if going straight ahead as a ret like in WoD or switch back to tank like the good old days.eh, life is hard for paladins, even more for paladin NPC  I can mention Uther, Bolvar, Maraad, Tirion, i think at this point, i'd really like to see Yrel from Draenor, coming in our "universe" or "timeline", to help us against the legion.A good lore character and i'd like to see her more involved in "our" world too.

My main will no doubt be a Rogue, more specifically Subtlety Rogue. For the very first time in years I really do feel like they nailed my dream class fantasy, I've been playing a Rogue in and out mostly because even tho fantasy wise it was my top pick, gameplay wise I didn't fully feel it. From what I've seen however Subtlety rogue at least *feels* perfect. In the past expansions I've been hyped about new features, continents, theme etc. In Legion i'm hyped about my class and spec, and boy does that feel special and it is the reason I want a Beta invite so much, to really see for myself and feel the Sub Rogue brand new experience As for the NPC, eaaaaasy answer. The Ogre and only Ogre Rogue from our garrisons, how can you not love him?#bringdaggfromdraenor

Fury Warrior will be the main class. I've been a Warrior since 2004. Loved watching Swifty for years wreck face. The changes to the warrior class are going to be something of which I'm excited to take part. Favorite NPC is Jaina Proudmoore . I got a thang for crazy xD

My main is going to be a marksman hunter, and I'd like to see Alleria appear somewhere (hunter class hall being only one option), because I've been following the story for so long and hers seems to get cut off rather abruptly. If she was going to reappear, it'd have to be soon, anyways. Also, she's a great Hearthstone character.

I have been playing since the beginning and since wrath of the lich king I've lived the dream tanking as a death knight. First as frost then later on as we all eventually became blood. I've been tanking in every expac and will do the same in legion. Blood works for me as being a death knight tank flows in my veins. Ask for the npc I would like the ghost of the first death knight Teron Gorfiend as he was as a dk not that fat monstrosity, I feel like Arthas deserves his final rest for now

I'm probably going to play a Disc/Shadow Priest. I had a blast playing both back in Wrath/Cata/Pandaland, but my interest slightly waned during Orcland. It would be interesting to see Anduin in the Class Hall as a Shadow Priest

I'm planning on maining my resto shaman in Legion, just as I did in WoD. As a shaman, no matter the spec, spells and abilities are very versatile and fun to play around with. And, although I play a shaman, my favorite class NPC is Jaina. Say what you want about her, but she has gotten immensely cooler. but really, what's the difference?

My main is and always will be a hunter. I enjoy every aspect of the class. I love Warcraft lore. I played Warcraft 2 when I was 8 with classmate on his computer Then played through best era of video games: WARCRAFT 3: Reign of Chaos, STARCRAFT, DIABLO 2 and COUNTER STRIKE 1. Then I played Frozen Throne expansion later. I joined World of Warcraft in late vanilla (2 months before TBC) and am playing till this day I want to check out survival spec, see how MM and BM are. Test the class, give some feedback and report bugs. I will also play other classes like shaman, mage and warlock. I hope I can get to beta so I can provide my little feedback and participate in making the game better at launch.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
