Going to stick with warlock for the legion era. During mist of pandaria I feel like I mastered the spec in my endeavor to defeat kanrethad and obtain the flames of xoroth. Sort of excited for the new challenge of learning destruction after never really feeling compelled to play it thanks to the cool green fire style that demonology had, which is now being deleted, so I'm destruction all the way. My favorite NPC tied to the class has to be jubeka, the character which we sort of followed on the path to the kanrethad encounter. that was the beta test / proof of concept for the artifact quest scenarios

I want to see how the new survival spec is going to work out.  It going to be hard to pick between marksmen and survival. Rexxar would be nice to see, but i would like to have the hunter from the wow vanilla cinematic. after watching that  i knew i wanted to be a hunter.

I will be playing a Guardian Druid this time around, I have played a Paladin since vanilla. However it is time for a change. In my recent days I have been playing as my new furry friend, and it has brought new life to the game for me. From the general playstyle to the vast lore behind the class, Legion will no doubt bring great things for the amazing shape shifters.

My main class in Legion is going to be a mage. It's hard to choose an example to follow :-) But a funny magician was Medivh, even if it is banal.

I've been doing a lot of research (and by research I mean watching videos on YouTube :P) into the different specs and while I really want to try Demon Hunter, Demo Warlock, Shadow and Disc Priests, among a great many other specs. The one I settled on for Legion is Protection Paladin. Not only do they pack an awesome arsenal of new animations (like every class) but their entire reworked gameplay experience seems very fun and very potent in the ways of a tank. I have seen some videos hailing them to be the most potent tanks mitigation and sustainability wise but I've also seen some saying they are going to be very boring. I'm hoping this is just an opinion or that Blizzard fixes it.

As for my favorite NPC? My vote doesn't actually go to anyone Paladin or Silver Hand related actually. My personal favorite NPC is Medivh. Not only does his home become one of the best (IMO) raids of Wow, but he also spends his entire life working to protect Azeroth and stave off the Burning Legion despite being the closest thing to an Avatar of Sargaeras we've really seen. His unequivocal power to foresee, plan for, then compensate for the bullheadedness of Humans during the events of Third War coupled with his own immense understanding of the arcane leaves him a force to be reckoned with even when he doesn't play a role in the world anymore. Sure Khadgar is awesome in his own respects but he's got nothing on Medivh.

I am really looking forward to the changes they made to Disc and Shadow. As for an NPC I would like to have Medivh. Brings me back to the Warcraft 3 days.

The Legion, I'll play a warrior. Because I have 6 years of playing for him. My favorite NPC is Anduin Lothar.

I'm gonna have to go with my Death Knight. Still haven't decided if I want to stick with frost for that epic quest line or unholy because it looks so fun. The NPC I'd like to see in my class hall and is also my favorite, Tirion Fording. Wouldn't that be a cruel twist of fate since seeing him almost put on the Lich King's helmet? No matter what happens, Legion is shaping up to be amazing.

Warrior⚔

I love my sword and board. As prot warrior I love to smash skulls and break bones by creating balls of death and cleaving them down.

As Arms I love to maximise the damage within the colossus smash window or build up rage to fit in as many executes within that same window at execution time.

In Legion I hope to add fury into the fun and whirlwind / bladestorm the mobs so I can see them melt like ice-cream in the HOT sun.

Like Broxigar The Red before us we will face Sargeras and in his name we will rise victorious! http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Broxigar

Looking forward to the new combat animations and sound effects.

It looks like, from the Alpha/Beta game play I'm seeing, I'll be switching from Ret Paladin to Unholy/Frost DK. I'd like to see General Lightsbane; I have some fond memories of the Quests from the Shadow Vault in WotLK

I Will have to see other tankspecs but from what i have seen, DKs and Paladins (main and alt) are booth pretty intereasting. Hopefully BW monks will be viable too.

As for order hall? I don't have opinion on NPC's

I will most likely end up playing Paladin in Legion. Legion is all about class identity so might as well choose my favourite. (+ Ashbringer  ) I dont really have a favourite Paladin NPC, but I would like to see like a champion of Draenei and some story with Hand of Argus and the Exarchs

I'll play warlock in Legion because I played warlock for almost half of my WOW life. There is no doubt for me to choose it And I will glad to see every member in Council of the Black Harvest appear in warlock's order hall.

In Legion I play to play a Mage, probably Frost or Arcane, although I'd consider Fire if they manage to make it more compelling. My favorite Mage NPC is Nielas Aran. He should be a major lore figure but only exists in game as a ghostly boss in Karazhan. He was the father of Medivh and a powerful Mage in his own right. He's a tragic figure and just adds to the tragedy that surrounded Medivh

Hello! This expansion contains my all time favorite Warcraft lore, so I will be playing a Demon Hunter as my main as a result. Give me those warglaives!

What NPC do I want in my class hall? Well, a class hall needs to be "prepared" properly in order to impress the masses. So I would love to see Illidan hanging out with the rest of his Demon Hunter servants, err, colleagues. ;)

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
