I will be playing my hunter Ameonna as my main in Legion just as I have played her as my main since I 1st started playing WoW back in WotLK. Hunters have always been and always will be my all time favorite class to play. And as for favorite hunter NPC? Lady Sylvanas Windrunner is my favorite Hunter NPC by far. I wish there was a transmog in game that was spot on with hers so I could mog my hunter like her <3

So my main has always been priest it's what I love playing the most(altho I have a ton of alts). I would love to see Tyrande Whisperwind in my class order hall altho I know she is probably needed in Darnassus.

Started the game way back in vanilla as a Druid, and despite some time with other classes over the last few years, the Druid Bear Artefact has brought it back home - Guardian Druid it is!

I'll be playing a blood death knight because i really like the death knight lore and i've wanted to get better at tanking for a while now. I think that the npc i want to see the most in my class order hall is som kind of version of the four horsemen simply because they're awesome in every way.

i have always enjoyed the 'at a distance' style gameplay so since WoW beta i have played hunter, when cata game out i finally switched to elemental shaman and then in WoD i swapped to enhance.  so for legion i will for sure be a shaman, have not decided which spec but i am leaning towards enhancement, but i do enjoy elemental very well.

as for class NPC,  Tharll would defiantly be the first one that comes to mind. but seeing velen in some shape/form would be a nice touch as well.

Demon Hunter, been a warlock since TBC and fancy a change as I haven't enjoyed the class this expansion.

Sylvannas is my favourite NPC.

I'll be rolling my Warlock/Druid Main combo, also playing a Demon Hunter since I've always wondered when they would bring them into the fray. I'm very curious what all the different halls will look like and how well the game-play has improved for all classes.

I'll be maining my warrior in Legion. To be able to charge onto the Broken Shores with our new abilities. To feel the edge of our blades cutting demons deep, and being the sword and shield of your faction brings pride to me.

My favorite NPC will always be Varian Wrynn. A Gladiator Champion,  and High King of the Alliance. Although he passes during the fight on the Broken Shore, he will be remembered.

I would like to see Danath Trollbane in our Class Hall. Or better yet... since it is Skyhold, and the greatest fallen warriors are brought here... I'd like the see Anduin Lothar, Broxigar, Orgrim Doomhamer, and our newly deceased Varian Wrynn!

I voted that I'm going to play Warlock - which is true, but they aren't my favourite class. That's Paladin, but my favourite character isn't a Paladin. It's Sylvanas. Now before you're all thinking that she's so prominent it's a lame pick - I don't agree. Before she died, she fought with all her strength to save her homeland, and you have to imagine after breaking free from the Lich King - she remembers everything he made her do, it's not surprising she's a little messed up after that. She still tries to do her best by Quel'Thalas even though they initially don't trust her - that's got to hurt at least a bit. And then again later, she finally opens up to her sister, only for her sister to basically tell her to fuck off and leave her again.

LEGION SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT

I know that things happen in Legion that seems like she ends up being the new leader of the Horde, while it was a short reign for our troll friend, I am very curious as to how that's going to play out this expansion, given her lineage and that elven culture plays a relatively large part in this expansion (from what I understand)

I'm not sure she's my favourite character, but she is definitely the one I'm most interested in at the moment. I'm very curious as to where the storyline is going with her - which is more than I can say about basically any other character.

So with all of that said, I would like to see her - as a leader of the horde, enter not just the Hunter class hall, which would probably be the closest most appropriate one, but all of our class halls at some point. I know various other NPCs can show up from time to time in the class halls, why not leaders too? In WoD you had the "leaders" congratulating you on upgrading your garrison and so on, I think it could be interesting to see Sylvanas going and requesting the aid of a specific class - say warlocks - with a task out in the world, or seeing how characters from the alliance (since order halls are shared, right?) respond to seeing someone that they see as having betrayed them, being amongst them.

Of course Warrior! The new Rotation and Rampage is really exciting. Talents are looking quite cool too, so i'll be going along with my favorite class since TBC :)

For the moment I plan on maining my mage in Legion. I think fire is looking quite interesting at the moment, and the changes to arcane are also appealing. But having all classes at max level, it's always a tricky question to pick one of the bunch. A lot of the classes are looking a lot more fleshed out and interesting to play this time around. But mage will likely be my choice.
Favorite mage NPC HAS to be Millhouse Manastorm - I'm gonna light you up sweet cheeks!

I will be switching over to a demon hunter for legion i have been waiting for this class since i first saw illidan i love the dual wielding high mobility play style and the fact that they took some of the enemies power and made it their own to use against the legion. I'm really really hoping to see Illidan in my demon hunter class hall somewhere down the line in the expac that would be a dream come true for me the boss who got me into WoW is now fighting with me side by side that would be amazing!

Warlock here, been my main since i started smile.png, when it comes to my favorite Warlock NPC it's a bit tricky just because the only big lore figure is ofcourse Gul'Dan. Tho i'm not the fan of him per say, i would say Kanrethad Ebonlocke as many of my fellow Warlocks are aware it's the guy we had to fight for our lovely Felfire back in Pandaria, How he becomes so powerhungry really fits into the theme of a Warlock. Having him as an NPC might be hard but if you could have his prison there so you could just /poke him a bit would make it excellent.

My plan, currently, is to stick with my Paladin for Legion. However, I finally got around to leveling up a Guardian Druid, and I'm REALLY tempted to change it up after 10 years as a Paladin.

My favorite class NPC is Uther, though Yrel has rapidly become a close second. Shame we won't be seeing her outside of WoD sad.png

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
