I will instantly make a demon hunter. The moment I saw them during the reveal I just had to play one. Would be cool to stand next to him in battle, and this time as a demon hunter

I'm torn between my long time Rogue with multiple Gladiator mount's, or finally rerolling the new class at the very start of an expansion. My favorite Rogue NPC would probably be Mathias Shaw, too many memories of Old Town

It still very early in the process to get a really good idea what class I'll play in Legion. I've really enjoyed frost DK in the past, but they seem to have been hit pretty hard by the simple stick in the last two expansions, and it's only been made worse in Legion.

I'm also leaning towards ranged classes in order to support my guild, which is currently overrun by people proclaiming they refuse to raid as anything other than Demon Hunters.

I play Shaman since the classic and i will be playing in legion too. I love wow lore, and Legion together with the warcraft chronicles book are amazing new additions to the lore. I am dying to play it, my favorite NPC has a shaman is Thrall for obvious reasons. I am sad to see he lost his spirit in Legion, but i am my DoomHammer

My main in Legion will be Rogue Out of law, because i like the gameplay of rogue in general and big weapons. And this time, Rogue Out of law will be a little different. My favorite NPC will be Sylvanas, because she is cool

The last days, i was unsure if i play a demon hunter or a death knight. But yesterday i made a choice. Playing my death knight just feels so right, that no demon hunter ever could compare.

In my class hall i want Lady Blaumeux of the Four Horsemen, because she's just nice to look at.

My main has been a Warlock for around 8 years and he will continue to be in Legion. Very much looking forward to Demonology, although I did enjoy it previously, it will be an exciting experience playing the new version. Can't wait to test it out if I do get into the Beta.  As for an NPC I would like to see in the Warlock Order Hall, it would have to be Mr. I know he was killed BUT his little scenario with Lord Jaraxxus was entertaining and I think he could once again become amusing. I'd like to see him summoning more demons that he isn't supposed to. Bring a little comedic light into the dark area

I will be playing a Shaman, I have always loved the shaman since I first picked it as my main. Being a powerful melee wielding the elements with my ghost wolves. My class NPC would probably be Velen leader of the Draenei at the Exodar since he's one of the first shaman that you come across as an Alliance player.

I'll be playing my Draenei Monk for Alliance, and an Orc Hunter for Horde. My reason is I main Alli, and I love my monk so very much. Her transmog is great, and MW is a fun healer spec.My hunter has been a character I made when I first started all the way back in vanilla. She will always have a special place in my heart because of that. I love Tyrande, because without her, things would have been chaotic when Malfurion was absent, and she's pretty great in HotS, lol. For Horde, I have to go with Sylvanas. No one has the balls to do what she does, she's fierce, and I love that. I'm hoping we see good things come of Sylvanas.

I have been playing Druid since my start with WoW, more specifically balance, as such, I intend to keep it that way once Legion hits.

I feel as though the spec was gutted & reworked in a negative way going into WoD, the current balance bar setup is just clunky & nonsensical. I would very much like to explore the 'new' balance that Blizzard is giving us with the upcoming expansion. I believe the spec is returning to it's roots, in a new & exciting way.

We'll be getting innervate back, which is reason enough on it's own,

I also like the look & feel of Astral Power as a resource, I think it's a fun & inventive way to revive the spec, while staying true to what balance was in the past, with lunar & solar energies.

I'm a bit sad about the changes to Starfall, since the spell is somewhat of a namesake for the talent spec, but I also understand why it was done & think that Blizzard will make it a fun resource to have in our arsenal.

The artifact traits on our upcoming weapon, Scythe of Elune, make me ecstatic to get in & tinker around. The synergy balance will be able to have between our spells & their abilities to buff one another, is unlike anything we've seen yet & I believe it will make for a very powerful, versatile, and intriguing spec come Legion.

As far as class related NPC's, I would really enjoy seeing both Malfurion & Cenarius in the order hall. Obviously that won't happen, but lorewise they have done quite a bit for druids & would, in my opinion, add interesting pathways for Blizzard to walk down. I would also very much love to see an appearance from Ysera at some point, & hope that we're able to during The Emerald Dream.

In conclusion, I, as well as many others I know, are VERY much excited for Legion & what it has the potential to do in order to ruffle this game's old feathers. I believe that what Blizzard is doing with balance is great for the spec, and will add another level of complexity to an already difficult talent tree. Scythe has the potential to be one of the most OP artifacts in the game, and I'm sure that I'm not the only balance druid that can't wait to get my hands on it.

Thanks for reading.

I will be playing Frost Death Knight as my main for Legion. I have been playing DK since early Cata and I'm really excited for the changes. Frost Strike not consuming a Killing Machine proc and Obliterate hitting the same numbers duel-wielding, as you would see on a two-handed Frost DK. I really hope they go more in-depth with Bolvar as the Lich King. The story of how you are his hand in the up coming war is awesome and providing you with the artifact weapon was fantastic. Hope to see him walking around and fighting. That would add some flavor

I plan on playing Monk yet again in Legion. My favorite aspect of being a monk is the level of complexity that can exist in such a simple concept of a brewmaster. BREWATHING FIRE. Now that's one way to make an entrance. After seeing the amazing cut scene with Chen Stormstout in Valley of the Four Winds fighting the massive Kunchong, I was hooked and rerolled to monk after playing Warlock for a very long time. I currently weave mists but cannot wait to smash some kegs in legion. Hopefully Uncle Chen makes a stop in my class hall so I can bow and spar with him

I was holy since the start, shadow never really appealed to me and I turned to discipline late Cataclysm. And I'm gonna stick to the awesomeness of my disc gnome priest for Legion as well

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
