I'll probably be maining a Demon Hunter in legion because... well, double jump. I really want to see how much stuff in the old world you can get to without flying now that double jumping is a thing now. From what I've been seeing in the Alpha, the specs aren't too boring either.

As for NPCs, the obvious one is Illidan for DHs, but just like the Lich King, I doubt Blizz will ever make him our 'Mograine.' I'd like to see Loramus Thalipedes back in the game just because he was one of the only demon hunters in the game that felt like his main focus was to hunt demons and kill them. Everyone else mostly just does what they were doing before, but now as a demon hunter. So, yes, I want to actually track down and hunt demons as a demon hunter. lol

I think I'll play my druid in Legion.

There is so much change I will test the majority of the specs to be sure :)

I'm going to probably main a demon hunter, being a warlock lover since the begining can't wait to play a demon hunter and try the new class :D

I would like to see Ilidan on my garrison, I love him so much

My main class in Legion will most likely be the Death Knight. The Frost spec looks crazy good in terms of combat, but also Unholy's new class fantasy and artifact is looking great as well.

As for favorite DK NPC, I'd say Darion Mograine. He has a rich and emotional backstory, and he was key in helping the Death Knights splinter for Arthas's control. He's going to be a central part of our class hall and quests, so that's going to be awesome :)

My main class will be warrior, specifically PROT WARRIOR (for life).  I'd love to see Grom Hellscream risen from the dead in my class hall giving me advice over a beer.

Hello!

I will be maining a Demon Hunter after having spent 11 years on a Druid (assuming that I like the gameplay anyways, otherwise my Druid will likely win)

In the Order Halls, I'm very strongly hoping to see Broll Bearmantle in the Druid Order Hall, and I would love seeing Vandel, one of the main characters in the novel WoW: Illidan for my possible mains! I would also love seeing Nobundo for shamans, I always loved his story in Unbroken and Valeera Sanguinar for rogues! It's too hard to pick one! D:

Thanks!

My main in Legion will be a Warlock. The first class I've ever played was a warlock and will always be my main, even though the Legion changes have me a little nervous.

In the class hall I would like to see Gul'dan even though I know thats impossible but he's my favorite warlock.

Gonna switch to MW Monk since it looks like the most fun healer.

There aren't any cool npcs, though. Maybe the drunk guys in the inn.

My main is going to be Death Knight. Have never mained a Death Knight, but with the runes becoming easier to understand (my problem previously being i didn't know what i was spamming), it is a huge contender, and blood dk in particular because in legion i am going to be tanking mostly. My feral druid in WOD is becoming a Guardian Druid in legion as, yet again...tanking is a thing for me now...... Preach gaming and Heelsvsbabyface gave their views and blood dk and guardian druid are my contenders, but as i am new to dk basically, it is what i voted for maining in legion. Also, WHO DOESN'T WANT TO SEE LICH KING AGAIN?!?!?!?! The badass evil guy <3

My main class in Legion will be Rogue. New spec Outlaw are awesome. Yaaaarrr. I will become Pirate King biggrin.png . I hope that new changes in all specs can do gameplay more varuous. We can play all specs and no one will not be similar to the other.
My lovely NPC is Edwin Van Cleef. I want him to help us in the fight with Legion.

I am going to play Demon Hunter, because I am big fan of Illidan. Moreover, I was playing night elf rogue as a main that was looking like a demon hunter, and farmed Warglaives and Cursed Vision of Sargeras just because of that. So I was waiting for this class for a long time... As I stated before Illidan is my favorite NPC, and I would like to see him in my Class Hall

Well, it's a tough choice, but I would have to go with my old standby of Hunter, as that has been my main for the last 3 expansions.  I have really just enjoyed the way it has played, and Melee Survival is something I am eager to try.

As to the NPC, I would have to go with Nessingway, simply because I always loved his "murder billions of those animals" quests for how straight forward they were.  Thy chickened out of doing those quests in Draenor, here's hoping we get a new set of them.

I will definitely play Demon Hunter with Havoc spec because all this years from Burning Crusade untill now I am waiting for it . I am waiting so make demons pay with Illidan style \m/ .

Damn it ... even in Heroes of the Storm I am playing Illidan so much I love the concept and story of him and demon hunters . I am so excited to see them in Legion. ^^

I wish I had a unique NPC choice but someone already beat me to it. I'd like to see the Lich King. That would be awesome! Mainly because my main will be a Death Knight. Of course I'm going to try out the Demon Hunter though.

Definately going to be bringing the thunder with Warrior in Legion. I have always adored Fury - to the point of having two at 100 and neither having a second spec at all! - but I am really considering giving Arms a go.

As for my favourite class NPC.. Of all time, Tirion Fordring. Because who doesn't love the F out of Ashbringer? But, he's always been a great character in my personal opinion. His story involvement, his character concept, his lore; I adore it all.

As for a Warrior NPC? .. Hnm. I've got a lot of love for Tobias Mistmantle! The guy's weapon of choice is a plank of wood, with a nail in it.. If only all Warriors could be so cool. Plus the few quests he had were fun, in the Worgen starting quests and beyond.

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
