My class pick will be Hunter as I have mained it since TBC.

My favorite class NPC is Rexxar, I still remember playing him in the old warcraft game :)

I'll be playing a hunter in Legion just like I have in every expansion. Have to relearn my class... again! o_x

As far as Order Hall NPCs go, it would be cool to see Nathanos Blightcaller or Shandris Feathermoon in there. Nathanos was my bane when I was playing Alliance at 60 in vanilla :l And kiting Shandris to Org was fun! :x

I'll stick to Rogue, at least at the beginning, even tho DH seems fun and similar in role.

regarding NPCs I think Valeera is representing the class fantasy very well, and I know she'll be present in the class hall.

My main class is and always has been the holy priest. Unfortunately since discipline priest is generally better in WoD, I am currently speced into discipline. Hoping to see something close to the Benediction staff in classic WoW, and staves are always transmoged to the Benediction staff, I would love to have something similar to it. My favorite NPC in all of the Warcraft series is Sylvanas, if she is part of the hunter's hall, I would switch over to be a huntard right away!

My chosen class is Death Knight. It fits my personality and playstyle. I am very upset about the removal of BREATH OF SINDRAGOSA from the Blood spec. However. My favorite Death Knight lore character is Arthas. Since he's dead, though, and we won't see him in our class halls, another paladin convert to the deathknights would be dank. Someone like Tirion Fordring. Take away the paladins' greatest leader and make him a servant of the undead.

I plan to main a BM monk in Legion.  Very excited for the proposed changes.  My favorite NPC atm is probably Vol'jin, though I wish he were a monk himself.

I'm going to play the Demon Hunter, I've been waiting for this beast of a class to roll around since Warcraft 3, and I can't wait!!

Favorite NPC is Illidan, can't wait to see his re-emergence in Legion.

To be honest, I am torn as to which will be my main class in Legion. My BM Hunter was my main all through out WoD and is my first ever created toon. I also have a soft spot for Feral Druids and love love love all the possible kitteh forms to choose from. To help me truly decide, I will play both specs heavily at the beginning of Legion until I truly make-up my mind.

As for a fav class NPC, I am still relatively new to WoW and there is a lot of lore to take in. I've only just scratched the surface to be honest. That being said, I'd love to see Rexxar. We both have something in common, a love of animals...:)

Uncommon Patron

I will be Maining Resto Druid because I love healing, and from what I can see so far from the alpha notes as well as some of the beta notes, Healing is going to be a blast in end game raiding, which is where my guild will eventually end up.  Unfortunately I also have every other class at 100, so I will be making a demon hunter and I look forward to experiencing each class's story throughout gaining its artifact so I think I just dedicated the next year of my life to wow just to enjoy all the aspects of the game for each individual alt.

Just like in MoP and WoD I'm gonna stay on my beloved Monk! Still deciding on going either going Windwalker or Mistweaver, but that might depend on what the raid team needs.

I would really like it if Li Li would show up in the Order Hall. Really liked her character during MoP.

Given a lot of thought, and watching tons of hours of Alpha videos and reading, I'm going to start out tanking on the DK.  Its been a rough road for blood, and I am hoping things shape up for us in the months to come.  There is obvious room for improvement, and I think the modified playstyle that blood DK's will have to learn is a good fit for me.

Obviously, if we get *cough* Tirion as a DK, it would be real frickin cool if he followed us in the Hall.  More likely however, Nazgrim could be a great champion for The Ebon Blade!

I will be playing Paladin, more specifically, Retribution Paladin.
This was my first Character back when I started playing WoW during The Burning Crusade, and I have never switched to other classes (as for my main character that is, I do have all classes at max level =D).

The NPC I'd like to see make an appearance in the 'Sanctum of Light' Paladin Class Order Hall, is Turalyon. Word is, he's been hanging out on the Broken Isles. Why not come over to the main land of Eastern Kingdoms and enjoy Light's Hope Chapel for a bit, Turalyon? Thumbs up wink.png

I hope I'll be able to experience the Legion Beta at some point, to enjoy the Class Order Hall first hand, and getting my hands on the Ashbringer. Can't wait!

I plan on maining a Prot Warrior. There has been alot of negative feed back on tanking in general in Legion and only look to provide Blizzard with the best feed back a tank of 10+ years can provide. Only expansion I didn't main prot warrior was Wrath due to how DK worked at the time.

Thank you for organising the contest.

I will be playing a demon hunter in Legion and raid mythic with it as well.

I would love to see Loramus Thalipedes make an appearance in the class hall, some interesting quests in Blasted Lands with him (pre and post cataclysm).

I am going to main a Demon Hunter, as I always play the new class when one is launched and really they look amazing! I would like to see Maiev as an NPC in my Class order hall because even though she chases Illidan wherever he goes, I think she might actually in her heart, love him. That story would be great to see in questing or even just through the world!

I am going to be maining a balance druid for Legion. I love the fact you can pick up a druid and change some gear and fulfill every role in the game with it. I have always thought that Malfurion is a boss, what with the antlers and wings. He is so deep in the druid arts he is becoming the animals he shapeshifts into. I have always loved the druid lore and the love they get with class sets. So it is going to be fun to finally play one again. Last time I mained a balance druid was in ICC progression.

I'm going to play hunter again because it's the first class I started on, funny note : I rolled hunter because I thought we could mount our pets biggrin.png Also my favorite hunter like NPC is Sylvanas, I always loved the way her armor looked and that hunters get a lookalike set of it in Legion. I also like her attitude, she just doesn't give a **** and always fights for her kind, whether it's justified or not.

1. I have mained a Hunter since the beginning of vanilla, highly doubt that'll change now. I can remember going into the open beta for vanilla which was like a couple weeks or so before the game released, reading through each classes description in the character creation screen to see what interested me.  And the affinity for animals as pets just clicked for me, which is probably why I always consider myself a Beast Mastery Hunter as well (so I know what spec I'm gonna level with too).

2. My knee jerk reaction to famous Hunter's would be any/all of the Windrunner sisters or Rexxar, but if I had to pick one above the rest then it's gotta be Rexxar the Beast Master.  Been dodging most information about story/lore/characters going into Legion to prevent spoiling anything until I can see it with my own eyes, so I don't even know if any of them will actually be there or not. But I'm hopeful.

I plain to main a Holy Paladin. Always enjoyed healing as a Paladin and includes my favorite Pally NPC Lady Liadrin. Always played a Blood Elf pally since TBC and she always connected with me. But still wish Uther could be in the order hall.

I will easily main a warrior in legion because that is by far the most fun looking class there has been so far in the alpha/beta.

Favorite npc is easily Varian Wrynn, sadly what happens to him is not good in the slightest. :(

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
