I know a site has to pay for itself. The ads here have become pretty obnoxious lately though, especially on mobile (opening the App Store and taking me to Kandy Krush? Really?). 

Final straw today though was a pop up to a porn site that started playing hardcore gifs with no option to prevent it.

i like your site and I'm happy to support it but I can't come back while you're doing this.

Wow, that's terrible and I'm sorry you experienced this on our website.

To clear some misconceptions, we're not doing any of this. We're a small site and have no means to get ads running our website other than delegating to an ad agency. They take care of everything, basically. There's the occasional bad ad that can slip through, because it activates its bad behaviour in a very very stealthy way (like it behaves properly 99% of the time, except for people from a specific location with a specific device ). Now, if you say it happens all the time, it's really concerning. Do you have numbers to share? Like 100% of the time?

The porn thing is a whole different matter. I've never heard of anything like that. It looks like you're browsing from the UK. Do you think you could share your carrier and the model of your device? I'll send a report to the ad agency as soon as possible.

Also, did you visit the website through your phone's regular browser or an app's integrated browser (when clicking a link on Twitter, for example).

For what's it's worth, I've just spent 20 minutes browsing Icy Veins on Android and iOS using a UK proxy and I haven't had a single issue.

Hi. Thanks for responding. Yes, I'm in the UK and using an iPhone6s. I tend to use the browser built into the LastPass app (my pw manager). 

Do you think behaviour would be different under Safari?

If it helps anyone to prevent it in future the offending site was '69vidsbox' or something very similar.

I've the same problem with my iPhone 6 too. It shows no porn, but I should by a Fart-App.

On iPhone is the news-side unusable.

If you're fast enouth, you can open the forum. While visiting the forum it happens really rare (it is the right word for not often, like Rare-Mobs?).

While using the iPad it doesn't happent.

Tried last night and so far this morning with Safari and seems OK. I will keep using Safari.

I added two photos. There you'll finde the anoying advertisement.

 

The problem with this is, it isn't s popup, it sends you very fast from one side to the next, till you reach the shopside.

So you can't go back, 'caus there are so much sides and each one sends you back to the shop.

You must close the side and re-open it.

 

I'm not sure, but maybe it is an problem which comes only up if I use the mobile Net, not the WLAN.

Is this possible?

One Each advertising shows the logo of telekom and co. ... Maybe?
