Benifios 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) Paragon points My Hero Statistics Fallower items and skils 1. First and foremost you need to find a blue elite (the glitch can be activated only on a blue elite). After you find a blue elite you need to bug your Damage by entering Archon form and igniting just one mob of the elites. After successfuly igniting the mob you should leave it (you are not supposed to kill it, or the rest of the elite pack). The Firebird's buff icon will now show 50 stacks. 2. Secondly, you need to keep your Gogok stacks so you can enter Archon form again as fast as possible. 3. The main damage comes when you have two Archons buffs and the Firebird's so here you need to focus on dealing damage to elites, white mobs and bosses. While in Archon, deal damage only by using Explosive Blast every 3-4 seconds. IMPORTANT: You should deal damage to a certain elite pack or mob every 3-4 seconds, otherwise you will ignite them and you will not be able to kill them afterwards. If you die or ignite another elite, you WILL lose your Firebird stacks. The Firebird buff should also persist when entering another level or you will need to activate the glitch again. 4. The boss fight is the same. You need to be patient. Dont ignite boss = GG new game Useful tips: a) If you have already hit the boss or elite pack with Explosive Blast and you receive fatal damage, the Firebird's proc (the meteor falling from the sky) may hit the elite or the boss causing it to ignite. This will also lead to losing the Firebird's buff and you may need to find another elite to activate the glitch again or if it happens on the boss, you may need to start over. b) You can use Frozen Nova or Esoteric gem if you have issues staying alive. c) You should not take Power Pylons. You will stop making damage (it doesn't work for me personally). d) You can use one of those amulets that give you immune to elements. I use the one for Poison because most of the Bosses have Poison affixes. e) You should not have CC, CHD, AD. You can take a look at the stats from above. You don't need much damage. f) You need as much CDR as possible! Good QUALITY VIDEOgameplay video Edited May 29, 2016 by Benifios
Lockybalboa 618 Report post Posted May 29, 2016 Normally I delete posts that include glitches or bug exploits, however in this case I made an exception since this has been approved by Blizzard. The Future of Firebird's Finery Firebird's Finery has been the focus of a lot of community discussion since the launch of Patch 2.4.1. As the patch and current Season settle in, we want to take a moment to share development insight on what's coming for this powerful class set in the future. Firebird’s Finery has come a long way since its original implementation. We’re really happy with its theme. It’s the Fire set for Wizards and puts you in a place where you can burninate all the things. That’s awesome, we like that, and we want to preserve that feeling. On the other hand, we’re not happy with the bugs we’ve encountered and it’s become clear we need to take a new approach. We’re working on a fix that will be introduced in a future patch. So, what does that mean for Season 6? There are a lot of players who have pushed hard and reached high ranks with these unintended bugs. However, we don’t want to punish players for working within the parameters given to them. To that end, the current functionality will remain intact for the duration of Season 6. Once these bugs have been resolved, you can expect that the power level of Firebird’s will be much more in line with other sets. Is this to say there won't be punishment for people intentionally abusing these bugs? Nope. We will not be taking action on accounts for this. Queldroma 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2016 (edited) Imo this is a shitty exploit, and shouldn't be permitted by Blizzard...It goes against every gaming rule, restaining yourself to damage the mobs to do more dmg is counter-intuitive and lame. I think most wizard players would agree that this ruins the season, as only the ones desperate to reach the top leaderboard by any means would revert to using this build. The game is supposed to be fun, not just a race to reach leaderboard by any means possible. This ruins it. Edited June 6, 2016 by Queldroma
