DavoSavith 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2016 So once 7.0 drops how good does Reaper's Harvest become for frost Dual Wield. Just asking because it seems we will be using Obliterate way more than we do now.

IMO, it looks like the Best in Slot Trinkets from HFC will be: Unending Hunger, Since now Killing Machine will trigger of auto attacks CRITICAL STRIKES rather than just regular auto attacks. And Anzu's Cursed Plume, because right now the Bonus Armor has been removed and it has Versatility instead which is an ok stat, but the mastery procs will benefit Frost DW a lot. demonardvark 556 Report post Posted July 11, 2016 Between both your posts are very valid ideas. However, the HFC trinkets are getting a big nerf at some point during the prepatch. They were tuned way too high (blizzards words), so I don't have the numbers on what is going to turn into what. However, I would say that Unending hunger and Reapers Harvest is likely to be the best combo for single target while Unending and Anzus will likely be best aoe. Single target will make heavy of use of obliteration thus the KM procs and bonus to obliterate damage will be superior. AOE wise frostscythe still needs KM procs so the unending is valid while anzus mastery will boost the overall damage of howling blast, remorseless winter, avalanche, etc. Rather ironic because now Empty Drinking horn becomes crap tier for frost XD. Darkovan 1 Report post Posted July 15, 2016 You can still stack it really quickly with remorseless winter - no idea if that will add enough value to it to keep it viable though. but 2x remoreless winter does more damage then 1 obliterate presuming that obliterate doesn't proc Rime, if it does proc rime then the obliterate does more damage what is left to decide is if the extra damage from 10 extra fel burn stacks makes up for it. In addition to that your loosing str from edh as well, which means your effecting loosing damage from everything including obliterate in order to deal more damage with obliterate. Im not saying its worse or better only that there is a lot going on and its complicated, your best bet would be to jump on PTR and try both.
