You know how important spell haste is? Pretty much every caster needs spell haste because they go for breakpoints based on having that buff. Melee doesn't have to worry about that. Why would attack speed > spell haste be an option?

The only reason I can imagine would be if there was a grossly greater number of melee in the group.

Oh I was speaking more from what I've heard hunters say way too many times. You don't have to tell me how important dat haste is

Spell Haste doesn't just affect DPS with their thresholds...it affects healers, which is pretty darn important.
