It might a valuable addition to the guide to show the best order of distributing your artifact power to your weapon.

The current guide is for the patch 7.0.3  - there are no Artifacts yet. The information regarding Artifacts will appear in Legion guide.

Any good macro for Holy prism? setting it to target a enemy seems really handy for Holy paladins

Consider the first talent which reduces the HS and LoD cooldowns. Combined with a Crit build makes a great combination.

Rotation could be: Holy shock (for healing/dmg) > if crit Quick heal for the extra proc heal > Consider spend Light of Dawn > Crusader > Crusader > Holy shock > Flash of Light again if crit (Notice that this rotation is all smooth, you don't need to wait for any cooldown)

The counter part is not having that heal talent in the same segment but with this rotation you get more heal in less time.

For this rotation you need to be close to the battle so I would't pick Beacon of the Lightbringer, you don't get anything other than the 30% extra heal for LoD from that talent if you are close to the tank. I support the use of Beacon of Faith as tier 100 talent due to the high burst of healing you can get with this rotation. You can keep one on the tank and other on you to deal with the AoE damage you can take being a melee-healer and to make LotM emergency heals more takeable or attach it to the second tank... Someone being focused... Etc.

Please feel free to discuss this rotation. Since I'm using it I feel more comfortable at keeping people topped due to the heavy burst of heal.

Keep up the heals!

Reading your guide, I find myself disagreeing with your assessment of Light of the Martyr. If you just subtract out the damage it deals to you against the healing, you get 250% of SP / 7.5% of mana = 33.33 actual HPM, which seriously beats out Flash of Light's 26.57 and actually comes close to Holy Light's 35.42. Obviously if the damage will put you in danger of dying you should prefer a safer heal, but the increased efficiency and speed are very powerful, and should be used more aggressively than you suggest. I'd go so far as to say that if you're above ~60-80% health, you shouldn't make use of Flash of Light at all (depending on predictability of incoming damage and other fight mechanics, obv). Also -- gravy -- your Resto Druid will love you since their HoTs will never overheal you.

It doesn't proc Beacon though, so you lose at least 40% of the healing.

Your rotation requires you to be near the melee group all the time. And if you don't take Beacon of the Lightbringer, that means you won't heal very good if you need to heal ranged. This rotation could be usefull if you're only the tank healer. I'll give it a try, just to see how it feels being a melee healer, perhaps this is an option Blizz wanted us to have

I'm curious what are people averaging in hps and how people are managing against aoe based enemies in dungeons (especially CoS - aka Court of Stars) I'm finding myself on average between 100-175k hps and more often than not healing with flash of light over holy light due to tanks taking alot of bursty dmg.. I feel completely overwhelmed when in situations where people are taking multiple high amounts of aoe dmg. I tend to just go straight into BF on tank - spam FoL on dps - HS one of the dps or tank if needed to help keep people up. due to the amount of people not stacking or moving constantly i'm never sure if LoD is even worth the global cd as i'd probably only hit one or two people and it doesn't really do that "great" of healing. I do rock the BotL ilvl 100 talent and have considered BoV.. what would you guys recommend in my situation with the BotL talent?

My favourite part of this guide is recommending to take one skill in tier 6 because it has good synergy with another skill in tier 8, then disregarding said another skill in the recommendations for tier 8 as garbage. Do you people even review the guides you post here?

Are you sure you have read the guide? Let's just quote directly from the guide to let you review it again.

Quote

For dungeon content, the same applies in general. Holy Prism Icon Holy Prism has nice synergy with the Beacon of Virtue Icon Beacon of Virtue tier 7 talent, which can come in handy in dungeon groups.

Quote

Beacon of Virtue Icon Beacon of Virtue is very strong, but unfortunately it is too Mana-intensive to use in most cases.

For dungeon content, Beacon of Virtue Icon Beacon of Virtue is recommended (since Mana is not typically an issue in 5-man content).

Thanks for your comment.

I just thought i would put in that having Divine Purpose is actually great with Second Dawn, I've done like 7 light of dawns in a row because they proc off of each other really great combo. Situational yes but still great and the reason i thought i should say this is because it says go for Second dawn as 4th or 5th priority on relics but says it goes down in priority if you have Divine purpose.

I'm confused as to why it says to enchant our necks with Mark of the Trained Soldier (+300 Mastery)?

I believe this is due to the interaction between the two. They cancel each other out and only 1 can activate, with Divine Purpose being wasted. Light of Dawn gets highlighted as being available for DP, but is placed on cooldown by Second Dawn.

This is why it goes down in value, because it wastes DP procs.

It is the only static neck enchant available that is useful to HPaladin.

Guest question

If crit is only useful until 50% or 42% with 2 t19 pieces what should be my main secondary stat after I'm at that?

  1. Intellect;
  2. Critical Strike;
  3. Versatility;
  4. Mastery;
  5. Haste.

I'd suggest following our priority, which would mean Versatility is your best stat after crit.

Generic comment being mass posted over the comments threads guys.

We are aware of the changes and our writers are working hard to update the guides to suit what has changed. Currently, there is a lot of work still to be done and it's unlikely that every guide will be up-to-date immediately. Expect a flood of updates over the coming days that will answer all of your questions about what is now best after X change, in time for the reset next week.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Can anyone tell me why Vers is the 2nd best secondary stat for Holy Paladins? It doesn't benefit our kit in the slightest. I would likely prefer and tell people to do Crit Haste or Crit Mastery over Crit Vers any day.

I wouldn't follow that seeing as Versatility really doesn't give any beneficial utility. It's better to grab Mastery or Haste

It's not.

Please take a second to actually read the section of the guide directly under what you are discussing.

Quote

The effectiveness of Mastery depends on where you, your Beacon target(s), and the raid is positioned. In situations where the entire group is very close to you or your Beacon, Mastery outperforms Versatility. In most raiding situations where the group is spread out, the further your targets are, the less your heals benefit from Mastery. If your target is further than 15 yards away from you, Versatility is the better stat.

Also, I'm not sure how Vers "doesn't benefit our kit in the slightest", considering it is a flat increase to all healing done.

Guys look at the second raid loot table, there aren't any crit-versa items, not even the set items has this combo. I would say crit haste instead. Haste reduces Holy Shock's, light of dawn's cooldown and ofc the global cooldown. When you stack a lot of crit haste the light of martyr, holy shock, holy light, light of dawn rotation comes in the picture. The legendary neck piece is a must have, so as the shoulder piece. With a lot of haste and the 4 set bonus you will spam the shit out of people with holy shocks and holy lights.
But hey, we aren't there yet, this is just my opinion.

      🤠(Author's introduction)🤠

Introduction: Before I begin I want to clarify that I am an old explorer and curious connoisseur of these players who dedicated their lives for years to a style of play within WoW, known as WoW F2P, I want to clarify the doubt of who this person is and what he came to represent and what he continues to represent today for level 20 communities, looking for information and more information I can say that this is the summarized result of this player known as Saruski, also known by other nicknames with which I will also be willing to better summarize this matter.

👀 (What were the beginnings?) 👀

Beginnings: Saruski started playing WoW around 2012 or 2013, but officially dedicated herself to the F2P playstyle in 2014.
She has videos on her YouTube channel where she talks about her early experiences in WoW F2P, including her time in the Alliance and later joining the Horde. These videos provide some insight into her beginnings in the game and how she became involved with the F2P community.
      👀 (What's it called?) 👀

Name and character: Saruski, whose real name is Andrea, is a recognized figure in the World of Warcraft (WoW) community, specifically among players who play for free (F2P).

👀 (What is it known for?) 👀

Pioneering the F2P community: Saruski founded and led the first international WoW F2P community on the Blizzard app. This provided a central hub for F2P players to connect, share information, and organize groups.
Advocating for F2P players: She has been a vocal advocate for F2P players, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the WoW community.
Creating content: Saruski has created videos and content to share her knowledge and experiences with the F2P community.

👀 (What does Saruski mean for WoW F2P?) 👀

Community building: Her leadership in creating the first international F2P community helped to legitimize and unify the F2P player base.
Inspiration and representation: Saruski has shown that F2P players can achieve a high level of play and contribute meaningfully to the WoW community.
Education and guidance: Her content has helped many F2P players learn the ropes and improve their gameplay.

👀 (When did he retire?) 👀

Retirement: While Saruski retired from WoW in 2020, her contributions to the F2P community remain significant. She is remembered as a pioneer, leader, and advocate for F2P players.
Saruski, a prominent figure in the WoW F2P community, while no specific reason was publicly stated, she did create a video titled "Wow Saruski Official F2p: End Of Story | 2013-2020 (English And Spanish)" which you can find on YouTube.

      👀 (Final summary) 👀

Summarizing: There are many players today who deserve high recognition, but it could be said that Saruski is the most well-known player and the one who marked a before and after in WOW F2P, given her career in the game and on the internet some people call her the legend of WOW F2P, but there is nothing official to call someone like that, therefore that is up to each person's discretion.
      End...

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.
