Artifact trait 5% dmg

Hi fellow Warlocks.

If i look at the artifact weapon, the first point of the passive dmg talent gives us sraight 5% increased dmg. So wouldnt it be best to skill 1 point in it right at the beginning before skilling the rest of the talents?

Any guide seems to ignore the straight 5% dmg trait.

Am i getting something wrong with it?
