Ezenthor 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) Before the hotfix on 8/2, I personally was not having an issue closing gaps in PvE. I usually used divine steed to charge in and then I rarely used it again in most fights. Since it's now a baseline ability, do you guys think that Divine Intervention might be a stronger choice now that Cavalier only gives an extra charge? Especially in longer fights it'll give the ability to use bubble twice in five minutes which would potentially help healers out. I suppose it'll come down to the fight and needing that extra mobility vs not needing the extra mobility. But I feel for baseline Divine Intervention is a better choice now. Thoughts? What other thoughts do you need? These talents have nothing in common but the fact of being in the same tier. You are to choose whichever you need more. Lev 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) Cavalier Pros: - adds more flexibility to DS - let you use DS one more time during an encounter (if used on CD) Divine Intervention: - lowers CD of Divine Shield, which can be really handy in some fights - if DS is not used, it will save your ass very well, you won't have to wory any more (which on the other hand might get you in trouble with your healers ^^) The choice depends on the encounter you are facing. If high mobility is needed, you know where to go. If you face a high risk of sudden death or you need some utility (e.g. for solo-eating a debuff with that bubble), go for DI. My "general" choice would be DI for now, since i think Cavalier is really weak atm. It should at least lower the CD of DS a bit (like the monk talent for roll) and make it independent from the GCD.
