UH dps-target swapping

So, been raiding through Emerald Nightmare normal (time ended on a 10-11% Xavius wipe), and while I've been easily on the third of my raid's dps on single-target fights, my dps consistently drops on fights where there are constant target swaps from adds (Il'gynoth and Xavius mostly , I got killed early on on Cenarius and the raid oneshot him so I have no data, the other bosses with adds can be cleaved and I'm not seeing any noticeable dps loss) to the lowest third in the group.

Are there adds on the which I shouldn't bother placing Outbreak in the first place, or what should I be doing to make sure that target-swapping hurts my dps the least possible?

I think there is merit to moving as much DPS away from sore bursting as possible in high movement and target swap fights. Next EN i'm gonna try All will serve instead of bursting sores. This would move as much damage as possible away from me and onto pets, aswell as the skeleton from all will serve being a ranged minion.

You'll get a feel for your groups and how long things die. Epidemic is being highly favored right now by many DK's so plague plus epidemic spam on adds and trash may do you wonder so you can get in that quick burst damage and not worry about investing too much into them. On longer lived adds still try to only do 2-3 festering wounds before you burst them just to make sure they aren't wasted. Save big builds up like apocalypse for longer lived big things like the horrors in ill'y fight. So, its a matter of learning what lives long in your particular raid group. Aoe snipe shorter ones, also so you can stay close to more important ones, then build up and invest more on medium and longer term lived things.
