The Rotation and the Breaks (Beastmaster)

Hi Guys!

I'm really confused about the Beastmaster Rotation. After I've used Dire Beast on CD, Kill Command on CD and Cobra Shot if I have over 90 focus I just stand there and do nothing...just waiting for my Autoshots and lose DPS.

Is this normal or am I do something wrong?

My Talents:

Way of the Cobra (because I got no focus problems if I only use CS over 90focus.)

Stomp, Posthaste, Binding Shot

Bestial Fury

AmoC (for example Nythendra), Barrage (for example the ugly-tree-eye boss)

Killer Cobra (pure Singletarget) or Stampede (2+ targets)

NOW to my Rotation:

I use BW with AoN on CD and try to pair them.

KC on CD and Dire Beast on CD.

AmoC on CD and here I try to pair it with BW.

If BW is not active I use KC+DB on CD and CS only over 90focus. My Problem now is I just stand 5 sec. and wait for the next Spell I could use. I just stand there and doing autoshots (yeah....hunter is now really autoshot AFK)

On Singletarget fights: 

When BW,AoN,DB is Active I dump my focus to 30 because I try to use as much KC as possible and this works very well, because I most of the time I have 60 to 100 focus when I use CS only over 90 focus and going in BW with ~120focus.

 

Am I doing something wrong or is the BM now Master of Beasts and Autoshots?

I don't have good tips. I think both BM and MM have a little bit of down time. I actually believe that is stated in the guides. With that said, I wish we had some attack to use for this down time. It could be a cheesy pet attack other than kill command to help generate a few focus or even a ranged attack. Anything will help feel like we are doing something at all times.

This is completely normal. You do not lose DPS by following the recommended rotation in Azor's guide. 

BM rotation indeed has a lot of downtime. It's just the unfortunate reality.

The rotation feels boring as hell. XD
