Butzelmann 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2016 Hey guys, in fact that Throw Glaive and Bloodlet is nerfed pretty hard, i was thinking about other talentchoices such as First Blood. But actually i dont know if it's worth taking First Blood over Bloodlet. What do you think and which talents do you prefer taking on wednesday?
Lockybalboa 618 Report post Posted September 25, 2016 Numbers have already been crunched by some people on the DH discord, new talent set up will look like: 102: Bloodlet is kill (don't use it ever). Felblade for single target, First Blood for cleave or AoE. 108: Now utility. Can take Demon Reborn for tiny tiny DPS boost (Meta -> Blur -> More Fel Rushes) Use Throw Glaive on 2+ targets outside of Meta (don't use during Meta). This is assuming blizzard doesn't change any of the "fixes", there was a blue post saying that the changes are NOT final and that they are reconsidering Havoc and Shadow Priest changes most of all. Butzelmann 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2016 So basically i change Throw Glaive with Fel Blade in singletarget. Is throw glaive even worth the global cooldown without bloodlet? Actually i hope they wil change the hotfixes, i like the bloodlet play.
Troels 9 Report post Posted September 25, 2016 imo they should rework all the havoc changes, so it's only a nerf to the secondary targets just like they did with Strike of the Windlord for WW monks. That'll make them still viably on single target, while not being super op in AoE/cleave.
Zilthy 36 Report post Posted September 26, 2016 There is hope that they will reconsider this according to a WarcraftDev tweet over the weekend. I agree that some of the AOE burst needed to be toned down, but it seems heavy handed and not a great way of doing it since the changes kill ST so much also. Butzelmann 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) I just saw the new patchnotes. Bloodlet now deals 150% of initial Throw Glaive dmg and the initial dmg of Throw Glaive stays the same. So i think you can take Bloodlet again over Felblade? Edited September 27, 2016 by Butzelmann
Lockybalboa 618 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 Yes, nothing changes. Talents, playstyle, stats, all of it stays the same. We're just going to do crummy damage now.
Ralor 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 There is a forum post in MMO from a guy doing testing on Bloodlet. Looks like its only 100% atm. So they either messed up, or told us one thing and did another. http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/2078934-Bloodlet-and-Throw-Glaive-nerfs-are-the-original-numbers
Lavellen 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2016 Threw a glaive at the Raider's Training Dummy. Throw Glaive did 94.4k Damage and Bloodlet did 141.6k. 141.6/94.4 = 1.5. Looks like 150% is live on NA.
Valks 2,375 Report post Posted September 30, 2016 For anyone reading that wants confirmation, from MMO: Quote Throw Glaive causes targets to bleed for 150% of the damage inflicted over 10 sec. If this effect is reapplied, any remaining damage will be added to the new Bloodlet. Just in case.
