so... do the talents recommended need to be reworked for when you hit end game? im running backdraft atm but have 30% haste, is it better to swap to roaring blaze? should some of the other "core" talents change?

I would suggest reading 2-3 different guides, play around and come to your own conclusions.

Personally I have been sticking with Backdraft for now and I am at 29% haste self buffed. I tend to think that at this stage I will get results that way. However, the buffs (I'm in Europe so not here yet) will make Roaring Blaze stronger again and Backdraft not so I guess I need to learn soon. 

Not sure what talents you might be using for the rest.

How does Roaring Blaze buff more than Backdraft if all of the involved skills get buffed by the same %?

I've said this before in another thread, but it is possible that Backdraft gets better or stays the same with haste due to not only likely getting the same amount of casts off within that shorter period, but the higher frequency of the buff being put up due to conflag having a lower cd.

Roaring Blaze is 25% more Immolate damage (on the now buffed amount) so that scales as well. For Backdraft there is no change (apart from all spells being buffed but like you said that affects both talent choices). 

I am not up to the maths but Brusalk did a lot on the RB/Backdraft thing. I can dig it out tomorrow if you haven't seen the spreadsheet however it will be outdated now. Haste supposedly shouldn't let us cast more in the Backdraft buff as it will decrease in length as well.  Roaring Blaze also gets stronger with each extra Conflag so that also improves with haste.

Just wanted to leave a note here saying that talents in our guide will be updated as soon as Furty has finished progression (very soon), he was just busy with Mythic being released as soon as the patch went out.
